A man was mauled to death by three Rottweilers that attacked him while he was jogging near a park in Rome, Italy. The incident took place in the municipality of Manziana, on the outskirts of the city on February 11.

39-year-old Paolo Pasqualini was reportedly jogging when he came across the pack of dogs, according to local media. Pasqualini was then mauled to death as horrified witnesses who reported the incident felt powerless to help. He was found dead by first responders at the scene.

Manziana administration said in a note: "From initial reconstructions, it would seem that the man while jogging in the woods, was attacked by three dogs, who presumably escaped from a private property not far from the scene of the incident. The animals were captured and made safe by the competent authorities."

A monsoonal trough has brought heavy rainfall to Darwin at levels not experienced since 2017, causing flooding in some suburbs.

As the weather system moves east, the Bureau of Meteorology has predicted there is a 30 per cent chance it could develop into a cyclone over the Gulf of Carpentaria at the end of the week.

BOM senior meteorologist Rebecca Patrick said the monsoon had redeveloped over the Northern Territory's north on Monday, with some areas in Darwin receiving more than 150 millimetres of rainfall over the past 24 hours.

"Rainfall in the Darwin area is the highest that we've seen in terms of those daily rainfall amounts since about 2017," she said.

She said Darwin Airport had received 165mm over 24 hours.

The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Demak Regency, Central Java noted that the number of residents of Demak Regency who fled due to flooding reached 8,170 people. Where the victims came from various areas affected by the flood.

Woman killed by dog pack in Mexico

A native of Minnesota has died in Mexico after being attacked by a pack of dogs.

Mina Bast (48f) was walking on the beach near her home in San Felipe earlier this month when she saw a dog being attacked by a pack of other dogs and tried to intervene.

The pack attacked the St. Paul native, killing her.

Her family is planning to bring Bast's remains home to Minnesota and is planning a memorial service for her this summer.

In the video, now going viral on social media, the footballer can be seen waiting for the ball to come to him, when suddenly lightning struck him and the player fell on the field. The other players on the field were in a state of complete shock.

The victim has been identified as a 34-year-old man from Subang and was playing in a friendly match between FC Bandung and FBI Subang, when he collapsed in the middle of the field at Siliwangi Stadium in Bandung, West Java.

According to local media reports, the player was immediately taken to the hospital but, he was not alive and was declared brought dead.
