Tropical Cyclone #Harold has done an unprecedented intensification into a powerful monster tropical system. It is packing 120 knots (140 mph / 225 km/h) maximum sustained winds and 936 mbar (914 mbar per Vanuatu Met. office) central pressure. This officially puts Harold into a Category 5 system, based on the Australian/Fiji classification. That is a Category 4 equivalent tropical system based on the Saffir-Simpson scale. Harold is already affecting the westernmost islands Espiritu Santo and Malakula, and continue due east at slow speed. This will be destructive for the archipelago over the next 24-36 hours as Harold's very slow movement across the islands will result in significant wind damage and flooding.
The satellite imagery is beyond exceptional. Soon after Harold completed the EWRC (Eyewall replacement cycle), a very large eye appeared with a fully closed eyewall and almost symmetrical CDO (Central dense overcast) cloud signature. A truly remarkable monster system. This is the worst-case scenario for the Vanuatu islands, as there is basically no return now. The full force of a violent system will blast across the country. Also, a very interesting thing happened a few hours ago - it seems that Harold's eye began to clear soon after the outflow 'shockwave' pushed to the N and NW. This shockwave can be seen on 3rd animation below:

That figure includes three quakes with a magnitude of at least four and another 30 with a magnitude of at least three, according to the University of Utah Seismograph Stations. Experts additionally determined there were no foreshocks ahead of the initial earthquake, which shook swaths of Northern Utah awake on March 18 around 7 a.m.
The biggest of the aftershocks, a 4.7-magnitude tremor, occurred an hour later and a second quake of the same size rocked region again around 1 p.m.

Cyclone Harold
The passengers were heading from the capital Honiara to West Are'are, more than 120km away, under a government programme to evacuate people to their home villages during the global coronavirus epidemic.
The MV Taimareho set sail on Thursday night as tropical cyclone Harold bore down on the Solomons, and with weather forecasters warning against any unnecessary voyages.

According to the India Meteorological Department's (IMD) regional met centre in New Delhi, Delhi's base monitoring station at Safdarjung recorded 109.6 mm rainfall between March 1 and 31, 2020 — a whopping 589% more than its long-term average for the month, which is a mere 15.9 mm. In the process, March 2020 surpassed the previous record-holder, i.e. March 2015, during which Delhi had received rainfall worth 97.4 mm.
Further, Delhiites also witnessed the fourth wettest March day on record last month, as the Safdarjung station recorded a 24-hour downpour worth 37 mm on March 15, 2020. In comparison, the highest single-day rainfall, at 62.2 mm, was observed way back in 1915.
