As a severe cyclonic storm on the India Meteorological Department's (IMD) tropical cyclone scale and the equivalent of a Category 1 hurricane in the Atlantic and East Pacific Ocean basins, Nisarga crashed ashore in the state of Maharashtra Wednesday afternoon, local time, just south of the town of Alibagh.
After moving inland, Nisarga lost wind strength quickly, and was downgraded to a cyclonic storm and then a deep depression, equivalent to a tropical storm in the Atlantic Ocean, Wednesday evening. The system continued weakening, becoming a depression on Thursday.
Mumbai, the country's financial center and home to more than 18 million people, is rarely impacted by tropical cyclones and, prior to Nisarga, had never been hit by one in the month of June.
The first eruption rose between 1,500 to 2,000 meters above the top of the volcano, while the second eruption reached 2,000 meters.
The entity detailed that the events were presented at 5 pm and 5:45 pm, respectively.
The deformed lamb survived a short few days before it reportedly died in a university laboratory.
It was born at a farm in the Colonia La Alianza area of the municipality of Coronel Belisle, Rio Negro province of central Argentina.

An incident report from the Murray County Sheriff's Office said two family dogs allegedly attacked and killed Skylar Grace Headrick at the family's home on Dunn Road West in Crandall, Georgia.
The two dogs were both Neapolitan mastiffs.
According to the incident report, Skylar's older sister found her in the basement of their home after coming home from work about 1:45 a.m. Sunday. The sister then went and told their father, who later told officers he noticed blood on the fur of both the dogs.
The landslides hit between 5am and 8am, killing eight in Hailakandi, six in Karimganj and seven in Cachar, officials said.
A family of five was buried alive in Mohanpur, around 25km from Hailakandi district headquarters, while seven of a family died in Cachar's Joypur, they said. The landslide, which hit Kaliganj in Karimganj district, left six dead.
All victims were day labourers living in the hilly areas in the adjoining districts.
The landslides are the latest disaster to hit Assam, which has been grappling with the coronavirus pandemic and the first wave of floods. The Covid-19 count is nearing 1,500, while nine persons have died in the deluge so far.
A 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck northern Chile on Wednesday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said. There were no immediate reports about any damage or casualties.
Chile is situated in the easternmost part of the Ring of Fire, a seismically active zone in the Pacific Ocean, where many earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur, including powerful ones.

Eleven earthquakes occurred in 24 hours in an area close to Yellowstone National Park last week with the strongest one measuring 3.1 on Richter scale, according to the US Geological Survey. The other quakes in West Yellowstone in Montana ranged between 1.6 to 3.1 on the scale and were almost three miles deep. According to website Earthquake Track, which has been monitoring tremors worldwide since 1990, the same area saw 34 earthquakes in the past 30 days.
Such an abundance tremors is not unusual as Yellowstone National Park is one of the most seismically active areas in the United States, with approximately 700 to 3,000 earthquakes occurring there each year. However, most of them are not felt.

The country has experienced a spate of severe weather since mid-May. Further severe weather in the country from 26 to 28 May caused 2 fatalities.
In the latest events, over 900 people from 225 families have been affected in 10 departments after heavy rain from storm Amanda triggered flooding and landslides between 29 May and 01 June.
The country's disaster agency - Permanent Commission of Contingencies (Copeco) - reported that the worst hit areas are in the departments of Olancho, Valle, Francisco Morazán, Lempira, Ocotepeque, Copán and La Paz. Bridges and roads have been damaged or destroyed, leaving some communities isolated.
