On Sunday, the bodies were taken to Dadri's Civil hospital for a postmortem examination, India TV reported. The police said the deceased — Devananda, his wife Urmila, and Mohit — went to the field to pick cotton around 7 am, after which it started raining.

Flooding in Cocorite, Trinidad, 22 September 2019
Heavy rain, strong winds and rough seas brought by Tropical Storm Karen have caused severe damage in the dual-island nation of Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean.

Tobago

Areas in the south western tip of the island of Tobago were badly affected from around 21 September. Strong winds downed trees and power lines, blocking roads and causing power and telecommunication outages. All schools have been closed. Nine shelters were set up to house families displaced by the severe weather.

Several boats were damaged in the rough seas in the Plymouth area, where a jetty was destroyed. Storm surge and high waves also caused coastal flooding damaging some buildings in Plymouth.

Albania was rattled by its strongest earthquake in decades Saturday, officials said, sending people fleeing into the streets in several cities, damaging buildings and triggering power cuts in the capital.

The epicenter of the shallow 5.6 magnitude quake, was near Durres, less than 40 kilometers (25 miles) west of the capital, Tirana, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Albania's defense ministry said it was the "strongest earthquake in the country in the last 20 to 30 years."

"There are no deaths," defense ministry spokeswoman Albana Qajaj said.

Some 80 people sought medical help in both Tirana and Durres, 21 of whom were hospitalized due to injuries caused by falling objects or parts of walls as well as for panic attacks, Health Minister Ogerta Manasterilu said.

Qajaj said that houses and buildings in Tirana had been damaged but were still standing and that the ministry was accessing damage in other towns and villages.

Authorities later said the quake had damaged about 600 homes and knocked out power and water facilities in Tirana, Durres and some other western and central districts.

Pit bull terrier kills 13-month-old boy in Granite Bay, California

PIT BULL ATTACK
A 13-month-old boy was killed Friday after being attacked by a family pet, the Placer County Sheriff's Office said.

"It was just a horrible tragedy and our heart goes out to the family," said Lt. Andrew Scott. "I can't imagine what they're going through at this moment."

The boy was mauled by the family pit bull at a home in Granite Bay around 3 p.m., officials said. The dog attack appeared to have been unprovoked.

"The adult was with the baby when the attack occurred and didn't appear to hint at anything that the attack was coming," Scott said.
"Sometimes, they're not preventable and our investigation appears that is the case."

farmers

With the unavoidable crop loss reality and rising food prices because of the largest floods in American history, suddenly the Saudi Arabia oil refinery goes off line for six months during harvest season. This in my opinion will be used to explain away runaway food & agricultural commodities prices.
