The police have warned residents and tourists to stay away from valleys.
Oman Meteorologists said that the governorates of North Al Batinah, Musandam, and Al Dhahirah experienced heavy rain, which led to floods in low areas.

High flows which peaked across December and January provided much-needed water to some parts of the river and its floodplain for the first time in more than 60 years.
That's resulted in a surge in the number of wood ducks and black swans at Chowilla near the NSW border, with surveys also finding large numbers of other water and woodland birds making the most of the flood-enriched breeding and feeding habitats.
Pacific black ducks and nankeen night herons have also been observed in numbers with groups of young emerging after the flood.

The quake hit at 6:18 pm (0918 GMT) at a depth of 20 kilometres (12 miles), according to the Japan Meteorological Agency.

As of late 27 March, the government of Ecuador confirmed 7 fatalities. More than 30 people have been rescued and 23 people hospitalised.
A team of more than 300 people from the Armed Forces, National Police, Fire Departments from different parts of the country and the Red Cross is working in the areas carrying out search and rescue operations and providing support and relief supplies to the affected communities. As of late 27 March (local time), 64 people were reported missing.
Due to expectations that rainfalls will continue, the Iraqi government announced, late on Sunday night, the suspension of work on Monday in all governorates.
The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers mentioned in a statement that the Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, directed to suspend official working hours on Monday, due to weather conditions, except for security and service institutions.
Santa Cruz Department
The government of Santa Cruz department reported rising levels of the Pirai and Rio Grande rivers from around 20 March 2023. One person died in the Pirai river in Limoncito in El Torno municipality and another in the Pirai river north of the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Flooding was reported in the city after heavy rain on 23 March. Several people were rescued from the Piraí River in the municipality of Porongo.
Flooding affected areas of the department from mid-January this year. By 05 February had affected 12 municipalities and 3,320 households.
