Is the Holodomor a fascist lie?

(Author's note: In this article I rely heavily on the evidence cited in the research of Mark Tauger of West Virginia University. Tauger has spent his professional life studying Russian and Soviet famines and agriculture. He is a world authority on these subjects, and is cordially disliked by Ukrainian nationalists and anticommunists generally because his research explodes their falsehoods.)

The Ukrainian nationalist film "Bitter Harvest" propagates lies invented by Ukrainian nationalists. In his review Louis Proyect propagates these lies.

Proyect cites Jeff Coplon's 1988 Village Voice article "In Search of a Soviet Holocaust: A 55-Year-Old Famine Feeds the Right." In it Coplon shows that the leading "mainstream" anticommunist Western experts on Soviet history rejected any notion of a deliberate famine aimed at Ukrainians. They still reject it. Proyect fails to mention this fact.

There was a very serious famine in the USSR, including (but not limited to) the Ukrainian SSR, in 1932-33. But there has never been any evidence of a "Holodomor" or "deliberate famine," and there is none today.

The "Holodomor" fiction was invented in by Ukrainian Nazi collaborators who found havens in Western Europe, Canada, and the USA after the war. An early account is Yurij Chumatskij, Why Is One Holocaust Worth More Than Others? published in Australia in 1986 by "Veterans of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army" this work is an extended attack on "Jews" for being too pro-communist.

During the early 80s, Edmond Mulet, who currently serves as the UN's Assistant Secretary General for Peacekeeping Operations, was a young lawyer involved in an adoption network. On two occasions he got in trouble with the law. In 1981 he was even arrested and accused of breaking Guatemalan adoption laws by taking babies out of the country with "tourist" visas. He claims he wasn't managing an adoption. He claims he was acting out of humanitarian concern for the children's welfare. According to a former member of the special prosecutor's office who worked with United Nations Commision against Impunity in Guatemala, Mulet's scheme circumvented legal controls and left children helpless. He was never tried or sentenced. A number of legal records and other documents uncovered in recent years clearly illustrate how this scheme worked and how he used his political connections in order to avoid being investigated for his actions.

Newly discovered historical documents reveal Hitler only joined the Nazis after being rejected by far-right party

Adolf Hitler didn't always have his heart set on joining the Nazis, it seems. According to a newly uncovered document, the German dictator was denied membership of a much larger far-right party, forcing him to look elsewhere. The rest, as they say, is history.

How different it all could have been for Hitler, Germany and the rest of the world if the German Socialist Party had simply accepted the angry lance corporal's membership request in 1919.

A previously unpublished document found at the Institute of Contemporary History in Munich shows that Hitler might never have risen to prominence at all, according to Thomas Weber, a history professor at the University of Aberdeen.

Dear Readers, some of you are pushing me to continue with the Las Vegas shooting story while others are asking to know what to make of the release of files pertaining to President Kennedy's assassination. I appreciate that you are interested and are unsatisfied with official explanations.

My answer is that we already know, thanks to exhaustively researched books such as James W. Douglass' JFK and the Unspeakable (Simon & Schuster, 2008), far more than is in the released files.

My answer is also that it doesn't matter what we know or what the facts are, the official story will never be changed. For example, we know as an absolute indisputable fact that Israel intentionally attacked the USS Liberty inflicting enormous casualties on US Navy personnel, and the US government continues the coverup that it was all a mistake despite unequivocal statements to the contrary by the Moorer Commission, led by Admiral Tom Moorer, former Chief of Naval Operations and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

My answer also is that time is better spent in trying to prevent conspiracies in the making, such as the endless stream of lies and accusations against Russia that are turning a friendly country into an enemy and renewing the risk of nuclear armageddon. Indeed, the biggest conspiracy theory of the present time is the one issuing from the military/security complex, the Democratic National Committee, and the presstitute media that Russia in collusion with Donald Trump hacked the US presidential election.

The government has been accused of covering up the full extent of the UK's support for India's bloody crackdown on Sikhs in 1984.

A new report calls for a full inquiry into the role played by Margaret Thatcher's government in the events leading up to a massacre in which hundreds, possibly thousands, of Sikhs and Indian soldiers died.

In 2014 David Cameron ordered a review after the accidental release of secret documents revealed that a British SAS officer had been drafted in to advise the Indian authorities on removing armed Sikh militants from the Golden Temple at Amritsar, Sikhism's holiest shrine.

The documents said the plan, known as Operation Blue Star, was carried out with the full knowledge of the Thatcher government.

A damning document revealed in the JFK files that the US government planned to stage false flag attacks inside the United States to start a bogus war.

In spite of Donald Trump caving to the CIA and holding back hundreds of the classified files-which the government had 50 years to alter - there are still some admissions that are simply jaw-dropping. What was once the talk of conspiracy theories - such as false flag attacks - now has government documents to prove them as facts.

Because of humanity's reluctance to start unprovoked wars, governments must trick their citizens into thinking countries they want to attack are posing a genuine threat. This deception of the citizens is often done so through either real or staged events-carried out by the citizens' own government-and then blamed on the country who the state wants to invade. This act is known as a false flag and governments have long used them as a means of deceiving their citizens into war.

On Thursday, much to the chagrin of anyone seeking transparency, the US government released 2,800 previously classified files relating to the assassination of John F Kennedy while holding back several hundred more. President Donald Trump delayed the release of the others, saying he had "no choice" but to consider "national security, law enforcement, and foreign affairs concerns" raised mostly by the FBI and CIA. As TFTP predicted, the JFK files were no smoking gun. However, many of the documents contained in them reveal and confirm the absolutely horrifying practices of the world's most insidious spying agency.

Policing in America today is a far cry from what policing was like just even a couple of generations ago. While it needs to be said that there are indeed many good-minded police in our society, there is also a startling rise in a new kind of insidious police brutality in America. A new callousness where many cops and police departments appear to be preying on the American public while viewing American citizens as dangerous enemies that must be dominated at all costs.

Everyday another terrible video surfaces of an American being beaten, abused or killed by cops, and one has to wonder what the point of having police on our streets is if they cause so much distress and harm.

When the idea of policing was introduced, there were different rules of engagement. Cops today seemed to be trained for something quite different from the original police officers of civil society.

The Russian Embassy in Ottawa has created quite the controversy with its latest tweets about Nazi monuments in Canada. "There are monuments to Nazi collaborators in Canada and nobody is doing anything about it," one of the tweets noted. A monument in Oakville commemorates those who served with the 14th SS Galizien Division (aka 1st Galician/Galizien or the 1st Ukrainian Division). Another monument in Edmonton honors Roman Shukhevych, the leader of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army.

The Russian tweets were quickly denounced as "fake news." The Russians, said some historians, were trying to undermine the Canadian government with false claims. Those being honoured by the monuments weren't Nazi collaborators, they stated.

Even B'nai Brith denounced the Russian tweets. "Clearly, if there actually are monuments to Nazis in Canada we would be quite concerned about that," Aidan Fishman, the interim director of B'nai Brith Canada's League for Human Rights told my Postmedia colleague Marie-Danielle Smith. "The Russian government sometimes uses the word 'Nazi, 'especially in the context of the Ukrainian conflict, with somewhat broader meaning than other groups would use it."

Now the Russians are more than happy to try to embarrass the Canadian government, which has steadfastly stood behind the Ukrainian government in the ongoing conflict in the region. Suggesting that Canada allows monuments to Nazi collaborators seems to fit that bill.

But in this case the Russian tweets aren't fake news. They are accurate. Those who served in the SS Galizien Division were Nazi collaborators.

700 year-old Yuan Dynasty shipwreck discovered in China

A team of archaeologists have discovered a shipwreck in China, which had been hiding under silt and mud for more than seven centuries. Experts suggest that the new find dates back to a chronological era when the successors of Genghis Khan controlled China.

Ship Dates Back to Yuan Dynasty and Demonstrates Amazing Chinese Art

Even though China was dominated politically by the Mongols at the time, it was Chinese culture that prevailed. This is what the splendid art and artifacts discovered in the 21 meter-long (70 foot) wooden shipwreck clearly demonstrate. These include a bright-colored jar portraying a dragon and phoenix as Live Science reports.

Shougong Wang of the Shandong Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and leader of the team of researchers that made the discovery, wrote in a paper published in the journal Chinese Cultural Relics that the ship was unearthed at a modern day construction site in Heze City, Shandong Province, and had a hull sectioned into twelve cabins by twelve bulkheads. He also added that the ship was probably used for river journeys.

Important Religious Figurines Found Inside the Ship

In the cabin that was used as a shrine, archaeologists found a religious burner and stone-carved figurines as Live Science reports. Carved out of agalmatolite stone, one of the figurines is 8.2 centimeters (about 3.2 inches) in height, and depicts a tiger sitting beside an "arhat" - an individual who in Buddhist belief has attained enlightenment. Another figurine portraying a dragon on the left side of an "arhat," was also found in the cabin. Carved out of agalmatolite stone as well, this figurine is slightly taller at 8.5 centimeters (about 3.3 inches), while the arhat is holding an alms bowl in his left hand.

"More than 100 artifacts were unearthed from both inside the shipwreck and its surrounding area, including artifacts of porcelain, pottery, lacquerware, jade, stone, iron, bronze and gold," the archaeologists wrote in the journal article.

Don't expect an end to the conspiracy theories about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy - even after the vast network of JFK-obsessed researchers pore over the final trove of government documents.

That's because the thousands of files made public by the National Archives late Thursday - and others that President Donald Trump announced will undergo an additional 180-day review - are still vastly incomplete, according to former government officials and leading assassination scholars, including those who believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone and the many more who don't.

They insist that much of what the government knew or suspected about people who may have had knowledge of Kennedy's murder, or who had a motive to take part in a conspiracy or cover-up, remains hidden from the public or was destroyed.

The Secret Service, for example, has acknowledged it destroyed some of its records about the events in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963. Army and Navy intelligence files on key individuals have never been made available, and in some cases were shielded from a trio of government probes into Kennedy's killing in the 1960s and 1970s.

Also missing, they say, is part of a CIA report on Oswald, an ex-Marine who defected to the Soviet Union before returning to the United States. And much mystery remains about all the files maintained by the late James Jesus Angleton, the top CIA counterintelligence official who took over the agency's probe of the assassination.

Comment: This is why no one should expect any major revelations from the tens of thousands of pages set to be released over the next 6 months. Anything really interesting is long gone.

The CIA is toying with the American and world public by releasing documents that provide nothing new on the assassination. In 1978 the House Select Committee on Assassinations concluded that there was a conspiracy involved in his murder and that there was very likely more than one shooter. Yet even that investigation was denounced by insiders as a whitewash and that the CIA misled the committee (see link above). The whole world and his dog knows that Oswald either wasn't the shooter or was not alone. Likewise, it's clear that Kennedy was shot from the front, reference the Zapruder film.

The only tidbits in these documents (so far) are references by eyewitnesses to or commentators on the original investigation that claimed that there was a bullet hole in JFK's car windscreen (i.e. he was shot from the front) and that a bullet entered his neck near the adam's apple (again shot from the front). For those who don't know, Oswald was in the book depository building BEHIND JFK's car. Plus, the bit about Hoover stressing the need to convince the public that Oswald was the "real" assassin.

The main point of the release of these documents appears to be to provide the scurrilous mainstream media the opportunity to promote the official Warren Report findings and poopoo conspiracy theories. In other words, it's another exercise in deep state and mainstream media gaslighting of the American public by feigning 'transparency' around the JFK assassination while simultaneously telling everyone that the official story still holds water. Nothing could be further form the truth, and just about everyone with a few neurons still firing knows it.
