Vatican removes pope's comment that children with homosexual tendencies should seek psychiatric help
The comment in question was reportedly made as the pontiff was flying back to Rome from Ireland on Sunday. While the Pope has earlier implied that there is nothing wrong with being gay, this time he said that "a lot that can be done through psychiatry" no later than in childhood and added that ignoring such a child is "error of fatherhood or motherhood."
"When it shows itself from childhood, there is a lot that can be done through psychiatry, to see how things are. It is something else if it shows itself after 20 years," Pope Francis told reporters, as cited by multiple outlets.
"[It happened on] overtime, during working hours, after working hours, any day or any time of the day," Throggs Neck Houses Tenant Association President Monique Johnson told the New York Post Monday. "I now understand why work wasn't getting done."
After multiple complaints by residents and some NYCHA staff - who secretly took photos and shot videos of the debauchery - Johnson informed NYCHA management about the sex parties. Last week, the NYCHA transferred every employee who worked at the housing complex, around 40 in all, to another undisclosed location. Even the workers who were not involved in the sex parties were also relieved of their duties in Throggs Neck.

"Demand in the EU is rising, but domestic production is declining - which in short means that the import demand is increasing," Mehren said, as quoted by the company's press-service.
"In 2030, for example, the EU will have to import around 400 billion cubic meters of natural gas. In order to meet this increasing import demand, we need reliable partners, especially in pipeline distance.
"Nord Stream 2, for example, will provide an additional capacity of 55 billion cubic meters of natural gas when it is completed. This is natural gas that Europe needs," the CEO stressed.

Apple's controls to help us limit our phone usage is the clearest evidence yet that self-regulation of technology companies must include not just data privacy, but protections of our humanity.
Apple has included features on its new phones that turn off notifications overnight, during driving and expand parental protections. Google is implementing similar such controls.
In the wake of the Facebook and Cambridge Analytica data scandals, the so-called tech-lash is the ultimate wake up call. It's never been more essential that the industry considers implications beyond the user experience in the race to further monetise our attention.

Toward that end, and because I've been getting some requests for advice on how people who want to do what I do can get started, I'm going to try to tap out a few tips. I've caught some lucky breaks and been really blessed and supported in a bunch of frankly miraculous ways on this weird and wonderful journey, but there are also some concrete pointers I've picked up along the way which I employ constantly. Here they are for anyone who's interested in getting their ideas heard in the people's information rebellion against the establishment propaganda machine:
1. Create daily content.
This is honestly the most important one. Whether you make blogs, podcasts or videos, the best way to build an audience is to become a part of people's everyday routine; something they can enjoy over coffee in the morning or on the train on their way to work. If you're making high-quality content on a daily basis, this will necessarily happen, and the more shareable your content (more on that in a minute), the quicker it will occur.
Comment: One could say the oligarchy has already exposed themselves as totalitarian fascists, however, they still need to manufacture consent and we can see it in their increasing desperation to censor and shut down dissenting views. This is a good way to counteract that.
The video, shared by Israeli activist and Breaking the Silence NGO spokesperson Achiya Schatz, depicts the extreme lengths a Palestinian child goes to to get back to her house. The girl is seen struggling to climb a closed gate in Hebron, the top section of which is angled back towards her. The video has been viewed over 13,000 times since being posted.
Last November, Baltimore City Police Detective Sean Suiter was shot and killed while on duty the day before he was set to testify against dirty cops in the department. Now, nearly a year later, the panel responsible for investigating the case have ruled his death a suicide, because they claimed they could not find any evidence of a second person in the area.
Not only was Suiter set to testify in a massive corruptions case the day after his shooting but his partner was off work that day and the commissioner lied about this important detail in a press conference where he revealed the details of the case to the media. The man who filled in as Suiter's partner on the day of his death is friends with one of the officers who Suiter was set to testify against.

Seth Frotman, who became the student loan ombudsman for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) in 2016, has announced his resignation, in a letter written to the bureau's Trump-appointed acting director, Mick Mulvaney, and obtained by NPR.
"Unfortunately, under your leadership, the Bureau has abandoned the very consumers it is tasked by Congress with protecting," reads the letter, copies of which were sent to Education Secretary Betsy DeVos and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, along with a number of senators and representatives. "Instead, you have used the Bureau to serve the wishes of the most powerful financial companies in America."

Comment: This is just the latest in a string of scandals for the Housing Authority. The fact that no one was fired but were instead reassigned to 'undisclosed locations' ensures that this culture of corruption will continue. The Observer reports:
