Some countries, including Croatia and Austria, have introduced a time limit for the validity of the coronavirus jab.
Update will allow people to prove they have had extra jab when they go abroad

Travellers from England who have had a booster or third dose of vaccine will be able to demonstrate their vaccine status through the NHS Covid pass, which will allow them to travel to countries requiring proof for entry, ministers have announced.

Israel, Croatia and Austria are among countries that have already introduced a time limit for the Covid-19 vaccine to be valid for quarantine-free travel.

However, it will not be necessary to show evidence of a booster for travel into England at this time, the Department of Health and Social Care said.

Comment: The categories of segregation are becoming more complex every day. This is by design, as a population kept gaslit by ever-shifting requirements is too busy trying not run afoul of the 'rules' to notice the bars of the cage they are being herded into.

Rising food prices sparks fear in Russia too

Food prices in Russia are spiking at an alarming rate, the head of the Central Bank has said, calling for immediate action to reduce the cost of basic products in supermarkets to protect the country's most vulnerable citizens.

Speaking on Thursday in the State Duma, Elvira Nabiullina remarked that Russians earning lower incomes will be most affected as food shopping takes up a large chunk of their monthly expenses.

Comment: A Levada poll back in August revealed citizens were already deeply concerned:
In the last six months, nearly two out of every five (39%) Russians have gone without food and drink due to a lack of funds, a poll has revealed. The country has seen rapid inflation of grocery prices during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The latest figures come over three decades after Perestroika and the market-like reforms introduced by then-Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev, which led to worsened food shortages. The subsequent fall-out led to the collapse of the USSR, and the introduction of a hyper capitalist system, where a small oligarchy quickly took over key sectors of the economy. The 1990s were a painful decade in Russia, and while things have improved since then, pronounced inequality remains a feature of the country's economic make up.

The poll, published by Levada, also revealed that 52% of all Russians have had to forgo necessary purchases of clothes and shoes, while 71% decided not to go ahead with essential large purchases for the home.

Sheriffs Association representing 17 states: 'No confidence' in Biden's open borders, DHS Secretary Mayorkas 'dishonest', should be fired

illegal migrants rio grande border texas
The Western States Sheriffs Association has called on President Joe Biden to fire Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas.

The association represents sheriff's departments in 17 states, and accused Mayorkas of "dishonesty." Understandably, the lawmen have "no confidence" in Mayorkas, a Cuban immigrant who has flooded the country with illegal aliens.

But nothing Mayorkas has done is a surprise. He's following Biden's orders. The chances that Biden will fire the leftist are zero, or close to it. Indeed, Biden probably hasn't seen the letter, doesn't know the association sent it, and probably never will.

Archbishop Viganò calls on people of faith to unite in a worldwide anti-globalist alliance to free humanity from the totalitarian regime

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò
Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò appealed to Catholics, Christians, and people of Faith to unite against the dark forces of globalism.

Archbishop Viganò sent The Gateway Pundit his video and Appeal for an Anti-Globalist Alliance.

Please watch his moving call for unity, courage, strength, and faith.

Archbishop Viganò shared this moving text and video with us on Wednesday. The video and text are an international call for the creation of an anti-globalist alliance to defeat the evil elites who wish to enslave free men and women and promote a "Religion of Humanity that cancels Faith in Christ."

From Archbishop Viganò:
"This Anti-Globalist Alliance will have to bring together the Nations that intend to escape the infernal yoke of tyranny and affirm their own sovereignty, forming agreements of mutual collaboration with Nations and peoples who share their principles and the common yearning for freedom, justice, and goodness. It will have to denounce the crimes of the elite, identify those responsible, denounce them to international tribunals, and limit their excessive power and harmful influence. It will have to prevent the action of the lobbies, above all by fighting against the corruption of state officials and those who work in the information industry, and by freezing the capital used to destabilize the social order."

The whole pandemic issue is instrumental to the Great Reset, and it is the latter that we must fight. I think that, at this moment, it is most appropriate to create a movement of the people that calls together, in an Anti-globalist Alliance, Catholics, Christians, and people of goodwill. This is the first appeal I make to that effect.

...If the attack is global. The defense must also be global.

Ireland university to use CCTV to locate unmasked students

From this week's Galway City Tribune - Management at NUI Galway have said they will use CCTV to track down students who refuse to wear face masks and can take disciplinary action against them.

Staff at the university were told this week to approach students who do not wear masks and if they refuse to wear one, CCTV will be used to "pick up on the individuals".

NUIG's Chief Operating Officer, John Gill, said the college's adherence to Covid-19 guidelines has been largely excellent.

"However, in recent weeks, we've had some reports of isolated incidents of non-compliance, particularly in public areas like corridors etc, and particularly relating to the wearing of face masks. We want to encourage everyone, staff and students, to return to full compliance.

Judge orders New York Times to justify publishing James O'Keefe legal memos

New York Judge Charles D. Wood of the Supreme Court of Westchester County ordered the New York Times on Thursday to defend its publication last week of an article about legal memoranda addressed to Project Veritas and founder James O'Keefe.

The decision stems from a case filed last year in which O'Keefe is suing the Times for defamation. But it is related to the recent FBI raid on O'Keefe's home in New York, because the Times only published its article after the raid.

Digging deeper: WaPo has now 'corrected' over a dozen articles related to Steele dossier coverage

The Washington Post corrected its coverage of Christopher Steele’s (L) infamous dossier after the indictment of Igor Danchenko. (R)
The Washington Post made headlines last week when it corrected and altered two stories that inaccurately identified a key source of the discredited anti-Trump Steele dossier - but the paper also added editor's notes to at least 14 other reports.

The two stories, published in March 2017 and February 2019, were changed when the newspaper's executive editor, Sally Buzbee, said she could no longer stand by their accuracy. The post added editor's notes, amended headlines, removed sections identifying Sergei Millian as the source and deleted an accompanying video summarizing the articles.

The changes came after Special Counsel John Durham's investigation into the Trump-Russia probe further discredited the already-shaky dossier when Russian national Igor Danchenko, who is believed to be a sub-source for the dossier, was indicted.

French study suggests that long Covid is mostly psychosomatic

Long Covid

Long Covid was initially believed to affect one in every ten people who catch the virus. However, estimates have since come down considerably. In September of this year, the ONS published research indicating that only 2.5% of people still report symptoms after 12 weeks.

As I noted in a write-up for the Daily Sceptic, even this 2.5% figure is probably an overestimate, since it assumes that every participant reported their symptoms accurately. Due to media attention surrounding long Covid, some participants might have been inclined to exaggerate their symptoms - to report things they normally wouldn't have done.

A new study published in JAMA Internal Medicine suggests that the 2.5% figure is an overestimate. Joane Matta and colleagues analysed data on a sample of about 27,000 French people, who were given serology (i.e., antibody) tests between May and November of 2020.

China announces massive 5G expansion

All cities and towns in China, as well as "most" villages, will be covered by 5G networks by 2025, the Ministry of Industry in Beijing has announced in a new infrastructure development plan.

Under the plan, the number of 5G base stations per 10,000 people will be increased to 26, and gigabit optical fiber networks will be extended to most urban and rural areas of China, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced on Tuesday.

Digital infrastructure has been defined as a "strategic, basic and pioneering industry to help build a new type of digital infrastructure and support economic and social development," according to MIIT official Xie Cun.

Information technology will be "deeply integrated" with the economy and society, with the goal of spurring internet innovation and creating a business boom, the ministry added. Meanwhile, the authorities are working on "a new type of supervision system" as well as measures to protect users' personal information and data.

Comment: Consider the boon to field-related manufacturers: Required devices for 5-G will make all prior equipment obsolescent.
China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) unveiled plans to more than triple the number of 5G base stations over the next four years, targeting a total of 3.64 million by end-2025, local newspaper China Daily reported.

Under this plan, China aims to have 26 5G base stations for every 10,000 people by the end of 2025. In comparison, in 2020, there were five 5G base stations for every 10,000 people in China.

The plan also stipulates that the penetration rate of 5G users in the country will grow from 15% in 2020 to 56% in 2021.

Xie Cun, director of the information and communication development department at the ministry, said that Chinese operators have already deployed more than 1.15 million 5G base stations, accounting for more than 70% of the global total, and 5G network coverage has been achieved in urban areas of all prefecture-level cities. The official also said that 5G coverage reached 97% of counties and 40% of rural towns across the country.

Xie said 5G has already been used in 22 industries, including industrial manufacturing, mining, ports, medical care, education and entertainment.
"In the next step, we will work with other parties to focus on promoting 5G applications in 15 industries that target information consumption, real economy and people's livelihood services."
Meanwhile, Wang Zhiqin, deputy head of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, a government think tank, said China will have built the world's largest and most extensive Standalone 5G network by the end of 2025.

Chinese operators recorded a net gain of 43.88 million 5G subscribers in September, according to the carriers' latest available figures.

Vaccine efficacy statistics as information hazard

Germany and the United Kingdom have essentially identical rates of vaccination. In both countries, about 67% percent of everyone is vaccinated.
Share of Population
In fact, here in Germany our vaccination rates are likely understated, so we may even be slightly ahead of the British.

Despite all of this vaccination, German mortality is more or less identical to that seen last year. On 16 November 2020, we had around 2 deaths per million, and right on schedule we are back at 2 deaths per million now.
