Society's Child
And of course the entire thing was phony from top to bottom. The policy Trump's political opponents have been blaming on the current administration was actually bipartisan and several administrations in the making, and as with many US policies simply grew progressively more depraved with each new president. The executive order leaves the debate over many, many immigration issues still unresolved, including the fact that it just means families will now be imprisoned together under Attorney General Jeff Sessions' new "zero tolerance policy", and the fact that thousands of families will still remain separated. And of course the entire furor only became a mainstream issue because midterm elections are coming up and the "Russia, Russia, Russia" platform of the last year and a half hasn't exactly energized the Democratic party's base. And of course that soulless bitch Maddow, who will cheerfully help inflame tensions between nuclear powers in order to give her ratings a bump, was 100 percent acting throughout the entire scene.
But you know what? I'll take it.

This undated photo obtained by The Associated Press shows a drawing of a prisoner being abused at a prison in Yemen run by the United Arab Emirates. Arabic from right to left reads: “Anti-terrorism,” “Innocent citizen,” and “Real terrorism behind their back, they don’t look at.” The AP has identified at least five secret prisons run by the UAE, a key U.S. ally, where security forces use sexual torture to brutalize and break inmates.
The men screamed and wept. Those who resisted were threatened by barking dogs and beaten until they bled.
Hundreds of detainees suffered similar sexual abuse during the event on March 10 at Beir Ahmed prison in the southern city of Aden, according to seven witnesses interviewed by The Associated Press. Descriptions of the mass abuse offer a window into a world of rampant sexual torture and impunity in UAE-controlled prisons in Yemen.

This undated photo obtained by The Associated Press shows a drawing of prisoners being transported in a pickup truck to an Emirati-run prison in Yemen. The Arabic reads: “This is how they transport the prisoners from and to the coalition. Blindfolded and handcuffed in the back of a Land Cruiser pickup in large numbers as if they are animals and under gunpoint.”
Yemen's war began in 2015, after Iranian-backed Houthi rebels took over much of the country's north. Saudi Arabia and the UAE are leading a coalition to fight the rebels, but UAE forces have overtaken wide swaths of territory, towns and cities in the south. The U.S. is backing the coalition with billions of dollars in arms, and partners with the Emiratis in anti-terrorism campaigns.
This, perhaps, is the source of their rage: A liberal publication daring to engage with trans ideology in a nuanced way, rather than simply spouting off a list of pre-approved talking points. Deviation from these talking points can attract a social media lynching almost immediately these days-even Kylie Jenner was viciously attacked for wishing her father Caitlyn Jenner a Happy Father's Day, and posting a picture of him from back when he was Bruce. But that sin was insignificant compared to the crimes of The Atlantic, which began an essay with the story of Claire and her parents-a cautionary tale about the dangers of heeding trans propaganda.

Around 25,000 people watched the sun rise across Stonehenge on the Summer Solstice this morning - an occasion that is said to have been celebrated for thousands of years at the ancient prehistoric site
Every year the neolithic Wiltshire monument becomes the centre of day-long celebrations to mark the official start of summer and up to 25,000 people have attended the site so far today, as the sun rose at 4.52am this morning.
And now with summer well and truly upon us, the Met Office is expecting a steady increase in temperatures over the coming days - with up to 81F alone expected this Sunday. Experts expect it will be even hotter into next week.

"The tweet is sick and irresponsible and [Secret Service] has been notified," the First Lady's spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham told the Daily Caller.
Fonda let loose on Twitter in protest over the Trump administration's "zero tolerance" immigration enforcement practices, which have seen 2,000 children separated from parents at the US-Mexico border.
During the multiple-tweet rant, Fonda suggested that Trump's 12-year-old son Barron should be ripped away from his mother Melania and put "in a cage with pedophiles" to see if she will "stand up against" her husband then.
WE SHOULD RIP BARRON TRUMP FROM HIS MOTHER'S ARMS AND PUT HIM IN A CAGE WITH PEDOPHILES AND SEE IF MOTHER WILL WILL STAND UP AGAINST THE GIANT ASSHOLE SHE IS MARRIED TO. 90 MILLION PEOPLE IN THE STREETS ON THE SAME WEEKEND IN THE COUNTRY. FUCK

Comment: Why do some people now think it's ok to be as much of a psychopath as you want as long as it is aimed at the Trump family?? Not even George W. Bush at the height of the war on terror hysteria received such treatment from the 'left'. Unbelievable!
Aleppo was Syria's most populous city and a vibrant industrial hub before the war. Its residents were relatively well-off, with small businesses and tourists keeping most people afloat. None of this is the case anymore.
A 2011 rebel uprising and a terrorist invasion of Aleppo brought as much damage and death as the powerful earthquake that struck the ancient Syrian city back in the 12th century, according to a thought-provoking documentary by Russian ANNA-News outlet.
Entitled Aleppo Earthquake, the film features real-life stories heard by ANNA-News war correspondents from ordinary Syrians who lived in the city during the terrorist occupation, and those who joined the Syrian army and took up arms against foreign jihadists.
Comment: Instead of actual footage and actual reports from actual journalists on the ground speaking with actual people living there, Western media projected a myth about what was happening there via props like Bana al-Abed, a child of one of the 'rebels':
Eva Bartlett: The Exploitation of Bana al-Abed in Aleppo
To this day, the Western media refuses to accept that its narratives have been blown away by real reports and documentaries like the above one.
From left: Teresa Rivas, Sandra Zamora, Luis Carriel, and Eisabel Coronel are all facing rent increases from their longtime homes in Menlo Park.
Property companies advertising their proximity to Facebook's campus are giving low-income residents a choice: pay a huge rent increase or move out
Sandra Zamora is quitting Facebook. Not because of Russian election interference, misuse of personal data or any of the social network's other scandals.
For the 29-year-old, it's personal: Facebook is her neighbor, and the company's presence, she said, is wreaking havoc on her community.
Zamora is part of a group of Menlo Park tenants in four buildings facing massive rent increases from a new landlord, who is pricing out longtime residents while advertising the buildings' proximity to Facebook's campus. Zamora is holding out as long as she can. But she knows she will soon have to leave her home of 11 years, and she doesn't know where she will go.
Comment: Considering the fact that tech businesses really aren't tied to any particular place geographically, and that many tech companies have even chosen to set up in locations outside of Silicon Valley, one has to wonder why companies like Facebook continue to maintain their presence in this particular location. It would make more sense to choose a location more suited to the rapid growth and needed infrastructure these mega-companies bring in their wake.

Two dozen far-right protesters shout outside courtroom in support of Duma terror attack perpetrators; relatives slam police for letting abusive chorus continue unabated
Far-right activists chanted slogans cheering for the death of an 18-month old Palestinian outside a courthouse in central Israel as the late toddler's family walked near them following a hearing Tuesday.
Referencing toddler Ali Saad Dawabshe, killed in a 2015 arson attack carried out by Jewish terrorists, right-wing extremists chanted "Where is Ali? Ali's dead," "Ali's on the grill" and other hate slogans.
Roughly two dozen youth had gathered outside the Central District Court in the city of Lod for a ruling regarding the admissibility of the confessions given by the two suspects in the firebombing of the Dawabsha home, which killed toddler Ali Saad Dawabsha and parents Riham and Saad Dawabsha.
Comment: Those Israeli Jewish extremists - aka Zionists - who are not psychopaths are ideologically possessed, and therefore behave like psychopaths. They are so far off that they don't even understand that the excuses and celebrations for their crimes only make them more monstruous to the eyes of the world. See:

The term "brainwashing" was born in 1950. It is a Chinese word ("xinao", literally wash brain). Originally it served to describe a technique used - so it was claimed - by Chinese masterminds to manipulate the minds of American prisoners in the Korean War. They changed their unconscious mental processes and turned them into agents of sinister forces.
Many books and movies purported to show how this works. For example, the classic film "The Manchurian Candidate" shows how the communists take an American prisoner-of-war in the Korean war, an officer, manipulate his mind and give him an order to kill the US presidential candidate. The American officer does not know that he has been turned unconsciously into a communist agent. He does not remember the order given him under hypnosis and does not know that he acts accordingly.

Comment: Yes, it's Abu Ghraib all over again and let's not forget Guantanamo. And if the US can't be directly involved, they'll show you how - they're experts by now. See also:
