Reddit 'quarantines' users who question the official story of 9/11

A highly popular subreddit devoted to posting information which proposed information outside the official narrative to 9/11 has been "Quarantined" by the Reddit Administrators. The community has effectively been cut off from the rest of the platform and anyone who wishes to view its contents are forced to go through a checkpoint while being redirected to a government website.

On Thursday, the subreddit r/911truth was placed under a Reddit Quarantine. The Reddit Administrators claimed that the subreddit posts misinformation and then directed people seeking information on 9/11 to the official government website.
It may contain a high degree of misinformation. If you are seeking historic information about the September 11 attacks, please visit the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States (https://www.9-11commission.gov/).
According to Reddit, communities are placed under quarantine to prevent others from accidentally stumbling upon this information. Reddit, like most other social media platforms has begun to control the flow of information and crowning themselves the arbiters of truth.

In 2017, following the wishes of the late Paul Ramsay, a businessman and philanthropist who made his fortune in the healthcare industry, the Ramsay Centre for Western Civilisation was set up in Australia. Paul Ramsay was deeply concerned that Australians are not being taught about Western Civilisation either at school or university. So he left part of his $3.4 billion fortune so that something would be done about it. As the Director of the Foundations of Western Civilisation Program at the Institute of Public Affairs, I have been keeping a close watch on developments.

The Ramsay Centre has devised a Bachelor of Arts in Western Civilisation based on great books and works of art, to be taught in partnership with universities. Since its launch however, the Ramsay Centre has encountered almost nothing but open hostility and resentment from potential university partners.

Comment: The social justice infection continues to spread, with Universities and academia being the most virulent propagators. When the study of history is reduced to the lens of identity politics, we are truly doomed. If you don't know your past, then you don't know the present or the future.

India's Supreme Court has nixed a ban which prohibited women from entering a prominent Hindu temple if they were of menstruating age. The temple's authorities say they will appeal the ruling.

Although the 12th century Sabarimala temple in the southern state of Kerala attracts tens of millions of pilgrims every year, women who are in their menstruating years (which the temple defines as between the ages of 10 and 50) have not been allowed to be among them - until now.

At least five Palestinians have lost their lives and nearly three hundred more sustained injuries when Israeli military forces opened fire on a group of protesters participating in anti-occupation rallies along the border between the besieged Gaza Strip and Israeli-occupied territories.

In breaking news, so far 5 Palestinians were murdered today, with an additional 78 being shot with live rounds, and all together more than 300 sustained related injuries, as a result of Israeli security forces opening machine-gun fire upon a protesting crowd. In this extraordinarily gruesome and brutal scene that unfolded today, we have seen something which unfortunately has become all too common, as the Zionist settler-colonial Jewish supremacist entity, calling itself 'Israel', continues to defy international law, standards of civility, and numerous and standing UN resolutions which call for an end to its bloodthirsty repression and never-ending land-grabs of indigenous Arab lands.

Nightclub evacuated in UK, 40 people treated by paramedics, suspected tear gas

The Cameo nightclub in Bournemouth, UK was evacuated after suspected tear gas was released, causing some revelers to complain of itchy eyes and shortness of breath. Forty people were treated by paramedics.

Dorset police said in a statement to Metro News that they received a report that some type of irritant, possibly CS spray, had been released within the nightclub in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The premises were subsequently evacuated and 40 people were treated by paramedics at the scene. One person was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

3 people seriously injured after being stabbed in Ravensburg, Germany

Several people have been injured in a stabbing attack in the city of Ravensburg in southwestern Germany. Local police say the suspect has been arrested.

All three victims of the stabbing sustained serious injuries, with one in critical condition, local news site Schwaebische Zeitung said. The attack appears to have been a stabbing spree, with the victims attacked in three separate locations in the old part of the town. The news agency DPA said the victims were found in locations 50 meters apart.

The police apprehended the suspect and cordoned off the area, where the incident took place and are questioning witnesses.

The identity of the attacker was not immediately reported. The police said they would not be available for comments about what happened until they collect the information themselves.

Schwaebische Zeitung reported that one of those injured was a man who was dining in a local cafe with his family when he saw a man, brandishing a knife, run towards them. The man then tried to fight the attacker off with a chair and was injured in the hands and back.

A French imam is under scrutiny over a controversial sermon, which says that Muslims will be told to fight and kill Jews on Judgement Day. The cleric is now being investigated for inciting hatred.

The probe into "public provocation to hatred or violence" was opened against Mohamed Tatai, the imam of the newly inaugurated Grand Mosque of Toulouse, prosecutor Dominique Alzeari said on Tuesday.

The Muslim cleric made the controversial comments during his sermon in Arabic in December 2017 in which he cited a Hadith, a sacred text of the words and stories of Prophet Mohammed.

The video with the English subtitles was uploaded by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), a non-profit press monitoring organization in Washington DC, in June.

"He [Mohammed] told us about the final and decisive battle: 'Judgement Day will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews,'" Tatai preached, as cited by MEMRI.

Comment: Is being delusional a crime? If so, most rabbis and priests should be arrested. They too believe in a judgment day in which Muslims, Jews and Christians will all be engaged in an orgy of murder. Jews who do not convert to Christianity will be killed or go to hell, Christians will become the slaves of Jews, Muslims will kill those who do not convert, etc. Actually, if fantasizing about war is a crime, maybe people like Benjamin Netanyahu, John Bolton, and all the politicians like them should also be arrested? We may need a gulag system to process so many hate-crime perps...

In late 2018, the bad economic news just keeps rolling in. At a time when consumer confidence is absolutely soaring, the underlying economic numbers are clearly telling us that enormous problems are right around the corner. Of course this is usually what happens just before a major economic downturn. Most people in the general population feel like the party can go on for quite a while longer, but meanwhile the warning signs just keep becoming more and more obvious. I have been hearing from people that truly believe that the economy is "strong", but if the U.S. economy really was in good shape would new vehicle sales be "collapsing"?...
According to the latest estimates released by Edmunds, new vehicle sales for September are expected to collapse both on a monthly basis and year-over-year basis. The company predicted that 1,392,434 new cars and trucks will be sold in the U.S. in September, which makes for a estimated seasonally adjusted annual rate (SAAR) of 17 million. This will be a 5.4% decrease from last month and an 8.3% drop from September of last year.
Those are absolutely terrible numbers.

Ukrainian radical nationalists storm church, injure several congregants and replace locks on doors

Radical nationalists have reportedly seized a church in western Ukraine, beating the faithful in the process. The violence comes amid expectations of a schism - threatening acknowledgement of an independent church in Ukraine.

According to a statement published on the website of the Moscow-subordinate canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church, a group of Ukrainian radical nationalists seized by force a church located in the town of Bogorodchany in the Ivano-Frankovsk region of Ukraine.

The radicals overpowered local residents, who tried to stop their raid, beating some of the defenders before throwing them out of the church, the report said. One man had his arm broken while another receive a skull fracture, the statement said. The nationalists then replaced the locks on the doors of the church with new ones, it added.
