Lauren Gioia stands in a protest against NorthShore University HealthSystem's vaccine mandate outside Evanston Hospital in Evanston, Ill., on Oct. 12, 2021.
A federal judge temporarily blocked an Illinois hospital system from allegedly putting workers with religious exemptions to getting the COVID-19 vaccine on unpaid leave.

In late October, several employees at the Chicago-area NorthShore University HealthSystem filed a legal complaint against the company, arguing that the firm's vaccine mandate discriminated against them by forcing them to decide between a vaccine and their jobs.

Liberty Counsel, which is representing the 14 health care workers, said in an emailed statement last week that the "plaintiffs have shared these religious beliefs, and others, with NorthShore, and have asked NorthShore for exemption and reasonable accommodation for these beliefs, but NorthShore has unlawfully and callously refused."

U.S. District Judge John Kness on Oct. 29 issued a temporary restraining order against the hospital system.

Another one: Footballer collapses from cardiac arrest during game in Norway

Footballer Emil Pálsson was flown to a hospital for further examination and treatment after collapsing with cardiac arrest during a game in Norway
A football match in Norway's second division was halted on Monday after Icelandic midfielder Emil Pálsson suffered a cardiac arrest during play.

The 28-year-old Sogndal player suffered the attack as the game against Stjordals-Blink entered the 12th minute, his club said in a statement.

The match took place at the Fosshaugane Campus stadium.

"Midfielder Emil Pálsson had a cardiac arrest in the 12th minute," the statement said.

He was later revived by the medical crew present at the spot and rushed to a hospital where he is now recovering.

Comment: While Pálsson's vaccine status isn't disclosed, the timing and nature of his collapse is suspicious. A reddit post adds more evidence. Young, extremely fit athletes are dropping like flies. And these are only the ones we know about because they have a certain amount of fame. How many other events are going unreported?
Anyone notice a pattern yet?

When mob rule dictates that a male homecoming queen MUST be applauded, it's clear that society is close to collapse

Civilization's demise is nigh
The unchallenged compliance afforded by many in endorsing previously unthinkable scenarios - like teenage boys being crowned homecoming queens - should set the alarm bells ringing as to where our civilization is headed.

Zachary Willmore of Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Missouri hit the headlines last week by becoming the first male student to be crowed homecoming queen during a homecoming game.

In a video shared widely on Twitter, the crowd appears to cheer wildly as the young gentleman receives his tiara while dressed in a "beautiful gold gown and homecoming sash" on the busy football field.

Comment: This is not the first go-around at dismantling the cultural pillars that kept a society together. Camille Paglia explains in the first article:

Alex Berenson: Why athletes matter

athletes covid comment

A couple of you have raised questions like this, so I want to explain why I am pushing these stories about the heart - or undisclosed - problems that top professional athletes are suffering.

The writer is correct. These are stories. Even if the players are confirmed to be vaccinated, each case is an N of 1.

Why should we care?

All kinds of reasons.

Maybe most importantly, stories matter.

Facebook to shut down facial recognition technology and delete data on a billion people's faces

A woman using her phone under a Facebook logo.
Facebook will shut down its facial recognition system after it was the subject of huge numbers of privacy complaints.

The site will no longer automatically recognise people when they are in photos and videos. That tool was marketed as helping tag people in photos that were uploaded, but also allowed Facebook to build a vast library of facial recognition data on the people who use it.

Facebook also said that it would delete that data, in a move that will see it destroy more than a billion people's individual facial recognition templates.

Comment: So Facebook "will continue to work on facial recognition technology within the company," they just won't offer it to the users of their platform. How is that the least bit reassuring? Not being unwittingly tagged in a photo is rather minor in comparison to corporate entities using facial recognition data behind the scenes (and letting intelligence agencies have access to that same data, no doubt). This reeks of a PR move for a company whose public image is currently on the rocks.

Officers at France's Saint-Lazare station have reportedly shot a knife-wielding man who ran at staff shouting, "Allahu Akbar! France is ruled by the Islamic State," following a routine request to follow Covid safety protocols.

The man was shot on Monday evening, after he threatened station staff with a knife, leaving one security officer seriously injured, according to France's BFMTV.

According to French media, he was previously known to police, having committed acts of violence, but had not been known to the intelligence services or been considered a terrorist threat prior to the incident.

UK exams must avoid 'offensive' & complex language and negative stereotypes to help disadvantaged students, watchdog says

Students taking an exam.
School exams must avoid language that "may cause offence" and not use complex or context-specific terms that could create "unnecessary barriers" for non-native English speakers, the UK's exams regulator has recommended.

On Monday, England's Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) published new draft guidelines aimed at addressing how some students are "unfairly disadvantaged by irrelevant features" in the education system. The proposed guidance also advises how exams can be made more "accessible, clear and plain" for students who are not familiar with the cultural "context" of questions that are based on social customs or life experiences.

In addition, the proposals recommend that exam boards avoid source material, context, images or colours that present "unnecessary negative, narrow or stereotypical representations of particular groups." The regulator also said exams must not "advantage or disadvantage any group" of pupils and have harder questions placed towards the end in order to avoid "demotivating" students.

Comment: That last statement from Williamson hits the nail on the head. All this 'inclusivity' is just a guise for lowering the standards of education and dumbing down the curriculum. It would be nice if a study was done to see if anyone is actually disadvantaged by non-inclusive language on exams.

Ice Age Farmer Report: Farmers panic, can't get supplies to grow food

ice age
Around the world, farmers are panicking as they are unable to get the supplies they need to produce food, from fertilizers to herbicides to tractor parts. India has setup a "War Room" for fertilizers after China stopped exports of DAP, prompting farmers to riot to obtain the product they need. Many nations are now limiting exports of food and these inputs, so that they may feed their own people. This was all foreseen by the Food Chain Reaction Game, which--like Event 201--announced this engineered crisis, and pre-scripted the solution. Christian breaks it down in this important Ice Age Farmer broadcast.

QAnon believers claim JFK Jr. will 'reappear' in Dallas, declare Donald Trump President

JFK Jr. is a popular figure in QAnon lore and has been predicited to reveal himself on numerous occassions. JFK Jr. died in a plane crash in 1999.
QAnon followers have gathered in Dallas, Texas, where they believe John F. Kennedy Jr. will reappear and announce Donald Trump is president.

A large crowd of QAnon believers descended on the AT&T Discovery Plaza on Monday, ahead of the supposed return of the deceased JFK Jr. before midnight today.

The Daily Beast contributor Steven Monacelli shared several photos that showed a dozens-strong crowd, with some wearing t-shirts that said "Trump: JFK Jr. 2024."

Comment: While Intel agencies (and the media lapdogs that peddle their talking points) love to paint the QAnon movement as a unified collection of domestic terrorists with absolutely insane beliefs, the truth is more likely that it's a collection of conservatives with a penchant for conspiracy theories, easily lead astray by savior rhetoric, with a great heterogeneity in their absolutely insane beliefs. But the QAnon label has become a convenient smear for any conservative expressing views counter to the mainstream liberal dogma.

Panopticon: How mass imprisonment was normalized by mainstream academia

The panopticon of the Smart City is a system set up so that free citizens police, interrogate, and report on each other.

Academia, with its woke newspeak, is a god-awful thing. Only through the complete destruction of language can actually fascist policies, which threaten to eradicate humanity, be passed off as progressive, even social-democratic. Our aim is to build upon our previous chapters to show that these were not intellectual fishing expeditions - we're here with the receipts.

Comment: Keep in mind that most things that enter post secondary institutions will find their way into society.
