Society's Child
Retired Judge Andrew Berman released the video to the Chicago Reporter after calling it the most unsettling thing he has seen in his 18 years as a judge and 17 years as a public defender.
The officer had pulled the vehicle over for speeding, and as the teens attempted to flee by backing away from the officer, the officer began firing into the vehicle, seemingly with no real target or threat of danger. Two of the teens were shot, one in the shoulder and the other in the left hip and right heel.
Thousands have taken to the streets of Berlin to express their solidarity with asylum seekers coming to Europe. The activists also expressed their support for the people of Greece, who are suffering from a long-running debt crisis.
Organized by German opposition parties Die Linke (The Left) and Gruenen (The Greens), as well as other organizations, the protest coincided with UN World Refugee Day.
German police estimated up to 2,500 people attended the rally.
Comment: Hopefully more people will join the protests across Europe.
The report comes almost simultaneously with news from a block party in Detroit, where one person was killed and 9 injured in a shooting on the same Saturday evening.
It was not immediately clear why the West Philadelphia shooter targeted the block party on Ogden Street, according to local police.
Here's the problem with all of this babying: it creates a society of weenies.
There won't be more rebels because this generation has been frightened into submission and apathy through a deliberately orchestrated culture of fear. No one will have faced adventure and lived to greatly embroider the story.
Comment: The programming of society to be a dependent populace is nearly complete. It is up to us to break this cycle.
At the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport, authorities from the Drug Enforcement Administration searched through Clarke's belongings after a ticket agent said his bag smelled like marijuana. Prompted by the police, Clarke said that he had $11,000 on him and admitted to smoking marijuana en route to the airport.
Although authorities found no drugs after the search, they still seized his money. Now, with help from the Institute for Justice, Clarke is taking his case to federal court.
"I was scared, it was a ton of emotions going through my mind," Clarke told Business Insider. "I didn't know what to do or what was going to happen; I just knew I was losing my life savings and that I wouldn't have anything when it was gone."
Clarke's $11,000 came from five years' worth of jobs, financial aid, gifts, and his mother's benefits as an injured Army veteran, according to Forbes. Because his mother was moving apartments, Clarke took the money with him when he flew to Cincinnati, Ohio, to visit his family, fearing the moving company would find it.
Comment: Federal civil forfeiture laws feature an appalling lack of due process: They empower the government to seize private property from Americans without ever charging, let alone convicting, them of a crime. Perversely, the government then pockets the proceeds while providing no prompt way to get a court to review the seizure. Police forces throughout the country are also taking advantage of civil forfeiture laws to enrich themselves and their departments. It seems the police now have a mandate to do as they please, knowing there will be few repercussions from their actions.

Dust from the Wabush mine hangs in the air in Wabush, Labrador in this photo taken in July 2014.
Iron ore and coal miner Cliffs Natural Resources Inc announced in February 2014 it was shutting down its Wabush mine. This year it sought creditor protection for its Canadian assets.
The fate of the deserted mine is in limbo until it is either acquired by a rival or Cliffs is able to restructure and exit creditor protection.
Local residents say the abandoned site has many open pits, with drilling equipment, trucks and other equipment stranded on the site.
"Now that the company has gone into closure, it is very hard to maintain a relationship with them. From a corporate level, we have not heard anything from them in almost a year, if not longer," said Colin Vardy, mayor of the town of Wabush. "I'm very disappointed. ... They haven't been paying their town taxes."
Comment: Another example of corporate culpability and refusal to assume responsibility for their environmental degradation and its ensuing effects on the local population.
That's right, as humans we have an obligation to think critically and objectively when considering the plight of humanity as it struggles in these modern days against the new world order and the human control system. It is up to us to consider the objective expression of this battle for freedom against the oppressive and defective component of humanity known as government.
Whether you understand it or not, those that wish to control you are a parasite on the species. Their infective process is carried out by thought signals within other concurring members of the species. These thought signals of control, rules, laws, policing, and legal system of enslavement perpetuate itself within the species, and is the very system that we know as the controlling governmental system. It seeks to simply control and enslave others. There is really no other purpose for its existence. It generates the mental signals needed to perpetuate the control system of enslavement to take away your individual freedom and your wealth and money. It does all of this by the system of rules we logically understand today as government.
This oligarchy has maintained its control by a number of different methods, the concept of "divide and conquer" being one of the most important in its arsenal. Throughout history, the divisions of race, religion, national borders, and class have all been cleverly used to keep the many from rightly viewing the few as the enemy.
In the past, there have been times where the façade has shown cracks and there have been individuals who have shown their perception of the obstacle of division and subsequently made strides to overcome it. Those individuals did their best but were promptly silenced or murdered for their efforts. The murders of JFK, RFK, MLK, and others are all testaments to this idea. Particularly with Martin Luther King Jr., the danger to the oligarchy was not so much his fight for civil rights for black Americans, his opposition to the Vietnam war, and his concerns for labor that posed a threat to the oligarchy individually, it was his ability to unify those varied interests - blacks and black civil rights activists, white war protesters, and blue collar workers - that represented the greatest threat.

Comment: Truly despicable act by this so called protector of civil life.
