Readers have already been briefed, on multiple occasions, of the developing ammo shortage this year.
We first shined the spotlight on surging gun and ammo demand at the start of the virus pandemic. Then found demand for weapons and bullets rose in early summer as social unrest unfolded.
Now the Financial Times sheds more color from within gun and ammo manufacturers and distributors of the unprecedented demand in the last six months.
Arizona-based Ammo Inc, an ammunition manufacturer, reported 2Q20 revenues jumped 125% to $9.7 million. Fred Wagenhals, chief executive of Ammo, said there had been an "extraordinary" demand for its retail hunting, sports shooting, and self-defense products. He said the company is working through a record $45 million backlogs in orders.
Every day there's a new story about the death of New York, how we're so broken we can never be rebuilt. And every day brings a new crazy piece of news to a New York already on the brink to prove those people right. Our elected officials are crushing our city and state. Enough.
A new rule, for instance, bans events "where patrons buy tickets to see a performance," Don Cazentre reported at Syracuse.com last week. "It seems to have suddenly popped up in the rules this week," he said.
How does charging a cover for music put us at risk for the coronavirus? Like every other dagger in the heart of small business, it doesn't. Enough.
We can't live like this anymore. The constant new rules, the continued dance around reopening. New York City is failing. Our governor and mayor are keeping us in a state of disarray.
Many doctors have come out against this narrative, but are constantly being silenced and suppressed by the MSM. This has reached the point where even a mild questioning of the official narrative has become almost a revolutionary act. Highly respected doctors and scientists risk becoming outcasts just for speaking their mind and questioning the official narrative.
After all, wasn't it precisely this approach of questioning everything that has been the main drive behind the quantum leaps in modern science in the last century or so? If we agree that this assumption is true, then why does this not apply to the COVID-19? Why are we required to blindly follow dogma, if it's the No. 1 enemy of scientific progress? This and many other questions are answered by a Spanish doctor in the following video.
When a researcher publishes a research paper he or she is obliged to state clearly any funding source. The reasons for this are entirely obvious. Most 'bad', 'faulty', or 'unreliable' research is tainted by the interests of those who have provided financial support.
There is nothing new in any of this, and scientific literature is replete with examples - from the use of Thalidimode for morning sickness to Andrew Wakefield linking the MMR vaccine to autism etc. - of bad or biased science. That is not to say necessarily that a scientist or expert offering scientific guidance has been influenced by the overt or covert desires of his sponsors; however, to preserve impartiality he must declare any sponsors before 'expert' or 'scientific' conclusions are tendered.
Unfortunately, the same rigorous insistence on transparency in respect of funding does not extend to appearances on TV or Radio. Thus, if an 'expert' appears to promote a particular therapy, vaccination, or social behaviour, he is not obliged to declare a vested interests or private sponsorship.
After significant pushback, Rutherford County Schools is allowing parents to tune in with permission from the teacher but they can't record the classes.
"It's ridiculous. It's so hypocritical because they've been data mining our children for years, compliments of common core," Laurie Cardoza-Moore, founder of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, said on "Fox & Friends Weekend" Saturday.
"What are they trying to hide? What is the problem? Why won't they let us sit in?" the homeschool mom of five asked.
"Obviously, because they are teaching our children propaganda that they should not be teaching," she said. "They are trying to socialize our children."

Victorian anti-lockdown protest organisers raided and arrested before dangerous demonstration A person wearing a face mask is seen outside of Flinders Street Station in Melbourne.
Police vowed to crack down on the protest, planned in Melbourne's CBD on Sunday, calling it a "blatant breach" of COVID-19 restrictions.
Officers seized phones and a computer, charging a 41-year-old Mooroolbark man with incitement. A 41-year-old Chirnside Park man is expected to be charged on Friday.
The Facebook event has called on people to protest in opposition to the city's six-week shutdown and claimed to be a broader movement of planned protests.
"Let's blow this one up and fill up the streets to show these criminals we won't give up our country and livelihoods without a fight," the event description reads.

Police officers stand guard near two bodies outside of a disco in Lima, Peru, Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020. Officials said over a dozen people died in a stampede at a disco in Peru after a police raid to enforce the country's lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic.
The stampede happened at the Thomas disco in Lima, where about 120 people had gathered for a party on Saturday night, the Interior Ministry said.
People tried to escape through the only door of the second-floor disco, trampling one another and becoming trapped in the confined space, according to authorities.

Sources on the ground say the crowd numbers in the tens of thousands, with the opposition estimating there are over 100,000 participants. Protesters gathered earlier in the city's Independence Square for a minutes silence in memory of those killed during clashes with law enforcement agencies during earlier rallies.
The demonstrators then marched north toward the Planeta hotel, which is located not far from the site of last week's rally, which was unprecedented in its size. The protest has remained peaceful, with police monitoring the situation. Ahead of the march, authorities, said they feared 'provocations' during the event.

It's not funny anymore because millions of people can't think anymore; do not see that they are being shystered by the Gesundheitsfuhrers and the Hyena Media when it comes to assertions about the WuFlu.
The latest such follow on the heels of the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota, where hundreds of thousands of Americans didn't imitate Michael Jackson. Didn't wear gloves or Face Diapers; didn't leap back in fear of proximity; they slapped backs and had fun - face to face.
In your face to the Gesundheitsfuhrers who have been turning America into a depressing and tyrannical sickness gulag by spreading fear about a sickness that presents no more threat to 99.5-plus percent of the public than the ordinary flu and less of a threat to 100 percent of the population than medical malpractice (which is credited with about 250,000 needless deaths each year) or obesity (millions) .
A fact - not an assertion.
But the Gesundheitsfuhrers cannot abide the facts because they are a threat - to the power of the Gesundheitsfuhrers, which has become practically limitless. The facts must be shouted down by . . . assertions, which have emotional power over the fearful and unreasoning.
Who feel rather than think - and seem to like feeling afraid (a subject for another column).
I'd been beginning to wonder. In my experience, kids of about university age have been priggish and obedient about the government's rules during lockdown. 'Why can't they just get off their faces on drink, drugs and repetitive beats, like my generation did at that age?' I've often mused.
Well, thank goodness that's exactly what some of them are doing. Last month alone, the Metropolitan Police claim there were as many as 500 illegal raves across London. According to the government this represents a threat that deserves £10,000 fines for the organisers. But if you ask me, it's about time we had a backlash to the grim authoritarianism of the past six months — especially a backlash motivated by pure hedonism rather than politics.
