In today's installment of Great Moral Dilemmas of the Day, we take you to the Pierce County jail in Washington state, where 47-year-old Weldon Marc Gilbert is being allowed to watch child porn. In 2007, police raided the former pilot's home in Lake Tapps...

That's where they found Gilbert's massive collection of child porn. Police say there were hundreds of homemade tapes and DVDs Gilbert shot that featured kids being raped and molested.

He's already been convicted on federal charges, but he still faces states charges from Washington. And either because he's broke and can't afford a lawyer -- or more likely because the evidence says he's a lock to be lit up again -- he's decided to defend himself this time around.

So because he's acting as his own lawyer, he gets full access to the evidence against him. Which means that as he prepares for trail, a private room as been set up in the jail where Gilbert can watch the full 30-hour archives of his own child porn collection.

US: Flash Mob Robberies Not A Rare Occurrence in DC

Similar robbery occurred 2 weeks ago at GTown shop

Caught on tape. A brazen robbery occurred in broad daylight at a Dupont Circle men's store. These daytime hold ups are going on more often than you might think.

Surveillance video from the G-Star Raw store on Connecticut Avenue on Monday shows more than a dozen teenagers rushing in, overwhelming customers and employees. They ended up walking away with more than $20,000 dollars worth of merchandise.

This bold type of criminal activity happens quite a bit. It has happened several times at the Georgetown Tee's store in Georgetown.

The store owner says about two weeks ago at around 2 p.m., about 20 to 25 young people came into the store and lined up in the area of where all the Georgetown University merchandise was. They immediately started grabbing items, putting them in their shirts and jackets or stuffing them in their pants. Then they tried to leave the store.

Norwegian terrorist suspect Anders Behring Breivik has made a confession to involvement in the armed attack on Utoeya Island that left 87 people dead, Oslo police say.

On Saturday, during an interrogation by the Oslo police, Breivik confessed to firing weapons on July 22 on Utoeya Island, which is located near the Norwegian capital.

On the same day, a massive bomb explosion rocked government headquarters in Oslo, killing seven people and leaving at least 15 others injured.

Breivik is also a suspect in that incident.

The death toll in the two attacks is currently 94, but it could rise higher since some people are still missing in the Utoeya Island attack and others in critical condition in hospital could die.

Plainview - An 8-year-old who was supposed to be a flower girl in her cousin's wedding Saturday was found dead in her home, and her mother was found unconscious by her side in a possible suicide attempt, Nassau County police said.

The little girl was believed to have cerebral palsy, and there were no obvious signs of trauma to her body, said Lt. Kevin Smith. She lived in the basement apartment with her mother and father, who was not at home when the bodies were discovered, police said. The girl's grandmother owned the tan, two-story brick house in Plainview, on New York's Long Island, and lived upstairs, police said.

Smith said it's not clear exactly what happened to the girl, and the death is under investigation. The 31-year-old mother was found with a cord wrapped around her neck, and was hospitalized in stable condition, police said. Smith said she was alert and conscious.

It's not clear how long the pair had been in the basement during the hustle and bustle of the wedding day. The grandmother went downstairs to check on them, and found them. She called for another male relative, who tried to resuscitate the girl, and also tried to help the mother.
