Colorado air force base dumped toxic firefighting chemicals into sewer system, groundwater contaminated

It may sound like good news that Colorado Springs sewers are not likely to catch fire any time soon, but that's because Peterson Air Force Base dumped 150,000 gallons of toxic firefighting chemicals into the sewage system.

Peterson Air Force Base confirmed Tuesday that a holding tank designed to corral firefighting chemicals released 150,000 gallons of water tainted with firefighting foam and other elevated perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs).

The water then made its way into a Colorado Springs Utilities wastewater treatment plant but passed through before crews were notified or prepared to block it. From there, the wastewater flowed into Fountain Creek which flows south toward Pueblo and the Arkansas River, the Denver Post reported.

The US military is one of the world's largest polluters, generating hundreds of thousands of tons of toxic waste, including dangerous carcinogens such as depleted uranium, heavy metals, hazardous chemicals, plastics, solvents, asbestos, pesticides, petroleum fuels, fungi, and bacteria. Poisoning air, water and soil that affects local populations and US forces and causing virtually every imaginable health problem.

Elections expert J. Christian Adams told FOX and Friends on Tuesday morning there are 4 million dead people on US voter rolls.

Adams, who was the Voting Section Attorney at the US Department of Justice, filed six suits in the past year against Philadelphia and Broward County, Florida where the voter rolls are corrupted.

Adams said he had one case in Texas where the person died in 1944.

Far left groups continually sue to keep the voter rolls the way they are. The Obama administration has no desire to clean up these voter rolls.

J. Christian Adams: Dead people are voting and it's something this administration does not want to do anything about. They must like it. They must like who they are voting for... A rally protesting the presence of American troops in the Philippines has turned violent outside the US embassy in Manila, with police using tear gas against demonstrators. Several people were run over by a police van.

AP footage shows the van repeatedly ramming into protesters as it drove back and forth among the crowd. It occurred after demonstrators surrounded the vehicle and began hitting it with wooden batons seized from police.

At least three student activists were taken to hospital after being run over, protest leader Renato Reyes told AP.

Police arrested 23 protesters who broke into a line of riot police and hurled red paint at officers and a US government employee.

The closure of RT's British accounts by a UK majority-state-owned bank would be something one might expect from a "tin pot dictatorship, not a liberal democracy," Scottish politician Alex Salmond told RT, pledging to protest the move.

NatWest, a major UK bank with the British government its majority shareholder, informed RT that it would no longer provide banking facilities to RT's UK branch and that the decision was final and not subject to discussion. Russia believes that despite denying this, the British government was behind the decision and that it amounts to an attack on freedom of speech in that country.

Police in Lawrenceville, Ga., are investigating whether a Democratic National Committee campaign bus illegally dumped human waste there, according to multiple reports.

The incident occurred on Grayson Highway early Tuesday, while the vehicle promoting Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and the rest of the Democratic Party was between campaign stops, CBS 46 News said.

CBS 46 News reported that a Lawrenceville businessman took several photos of the "Forward Together" tour bus dumping waste into a storm drain. The man's pictures showed liquid seeping out from underneath the vehicle.

Police responding to the scene found scattered toilet paper and a foul smell.

WSB-TV 2 News added that an employee at O'Reilly Auto Parts along Grayson Highway also observed someone from the bus dumping raw sewage nearby.

The article with the intriguing title 'Trend comes to Denmark: Immigrants kidnap Danish girls for sex' appeared in Ekstra Bladet tabloid newspaper earlier in October. The text was published in the section dubbed 'People's Voice', where readers express their views. Many stories in this section are devoted to the topic of Islam, terrorists and asylum seekers.

According to Danish media that saw the scandalous article, the author claims that Muslims are 200 times more likely to abduct women than non-Muslim men. He allegedly collected the evidence from the British newspaper Mirror and YouTube channel named 'Never Submit To Islam'. It's not exactly clear which stories from Mirror the author quoted.

The UFO expert whose death has sparked out-of-this world conspiracy theories was about to "expose" a cabal of politicians and celebrities practicing black magic, his fiancee claimed.

Max Spiers, a 39-year-old father of two found dead on a couch in Poland over the summer with "black liquid" oozing from his mouth — reminiscent of the "black oil" that alien beings used to inhabit human hosts in the TV series "The X-Files" — spent his final months researching the dark arts.

"He was going to expose black magic. He was going to expose some of the stuff he was working on involving political leaders and celebrities," his gal pal, 31-year-old Sarah Adams, told Yahoo.

Adams said she spoke to Spiers about his fear of dying numerous times.

San Francisco: Four men open fire on high school students

San Francisco cops are on the hunt for four men who opened fire outside a San Francisco high school on Tuesday afternoon — injuring four students, including one critically — as they were being let out of class, police said.

Authorities told NBC Bay Area that the suspects were wearing dark hoodies and jeans when they approached the June Jordan School for Equity on foot just after 3 p.m. and began blasting rounds at a 15-year-old girl and three young men, striking them all as they stood in the parking lot.

"It was terrifying," said Fernando Rodriguez, a 16-year-old junior at the school.

He told the San Francisco Chronicle that he heard at least six "pops" before students and faculty began running in every direction.

Authorities said it appeared that the girl who was shot may have been targeted. She was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition.

An NYPD sergeant fatally shot a troubled 66-year-old woman who charged at him with a baseball bat in her Bronx apartment Tuesday evening, leading the officer to be placed on modified duty — and local officials calling for a full investigation.

Cops responded to the Deborah Danner's building on Pugsley Avenue in Castle Hill at 6 p.m. after neighbors reported a resident screaming, according to police.

When they entered the apartment, the disturbed woman threatened them with scissors.

They convinced her to drop it, but then she grabbed a wooden bat and charged at a Sgt. Hugh Barry.

He fired two shots and struck Danner in the torso. She was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where she died.

Comment: This woman needed professional help, not a belly full of lead. This is what happens when you send cops to do a social worker's job.

1 dead in shooting incident in Dueren, Germany

A shooting and hostage situation in the town of Dueren in northwest Germany has ended with one hostage injured and the gunman, who was also the hostage taker, dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to police.

The incident began with a shooting at a hairdressing salon, DPA reported, citing police. There was "at least one shot," a police spokeswoman told journalists. Police later confirmed that there had been no casualties at the salon.

According to local media, a man entered the hairdressing salon and insulted a woman before firing several shots and taking one woman hostage.

The man later fled the scene and barricaded himself in a nearby apartment with the hostage. German media reported that Old Town had been closed off due to a "heavy police presence" at the scene.
