SOTT Focus: British Baroness After Fact-Finding Trip to Syria: Syrians Support Assad But BBC Won't Acknowledge This

Most Syrians support their president and military, but the BBC presents Britons with a different, one-sided story, a British baroness and member of the House of Lords told RT, after returning from a trip to the war-torn country.

Caroline Cox, a baroness and Life Peer in the House of Lords, recently returned from a tour of several Syrian cities, during which she spoke with a "wide range of people," including government officials, opposition leaders, artists, intellectuals, writers and ordinary Syrians walking in the park.

According to Baroness Cox, despite claims from western governments and media outlets, the vast majority of Syrians are thankful to President Bashar Assad and the Syrian and Russian militaries for fighting Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIL) and jihadist groups.

The Syrian people "are very grateful to the Syrian Army, to Assad and, I may say, for Russian help in getting rid of the terrorists. They are the perpetrators of the most appalling atrocities and killings."

Barbarians: Israeli soldiers gloat & cheer as they shoot Palestinian protesters

Disturbing footage from the West Bank published by an Israeli human rights group shows IDF soldiers discussing how to improve land shots on unarmed Palestinian protesters and cheering as they hit them with rubber bullets.

The video shows three Israeli Defense Force (IDF) soldiers standing on a road that leads to a Palestinian settlement and firing at a group of Palestinians, who gathered meters away. The soldiers are also seen routinely discussing the best ways to fire at people.

"It is far, still too far. Wait for them to come nearer," one soldier is heard telling the other when preparing to fire a shot. They also discourage each other from shooting from a longer distance, as it would apparently scare the protesters off.

"We need one good hit and that is it. That will teach them not to throw stones," one soldier says at some point. The same soldier is heard saying in the video that the stones, which were apparently being thrown by the Palestinians, did not even reach the soldiers' position. The men are also shown to be reacting with excitement after one of them apparently hits a protester with a rubber bullet.

Migrant 'caravan' from Central America nears US-Mexico border

Migrants
Hundreds of Central American migrants traveling in a "caravan" were in limbo in the northern Mexican city of Hermosillo on Monday on the final stretch of a journey to the United States where President Donald Trump ordered officials to repel them.

About 600 men, women and children from Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras had been waiting on Monday in Hermosillo, Sonora to board a train or take buses for the remaining 432 miles miles to the border with California.

Traveling together for safety, their numbers were down from a peak of about 1,500 people since they began their journey on Mexico's southern border with Guatemala almost a month ago, as smaller groups broke away.

Many women and children in the group were planning to seek asylum in the United States after they reach Tijuana, said Rodrigo Abeja, a coordinator from immigrant rights group Pueblo Sin Fronteras that has been organizing similar caravans for several years.

A Tunisian man who was allegedly once a bodyguard for Osama Bin Laden is living on benefits in Germany, sparking major criticism from anti-immigration politicians.

The information was revealed following a question posed to the regional government in Bochum, where the 42 year old lives, by the Alternative for Germany (AfD). According to a report in German tabloid Bild, Sami A, whose identity cannot be revealed to protect his privacy, collects benefits to the tune of €1,168 a month for himself, his wife and three children.

Sami A has reportedly lived in Germany since 1997. During a 2005 terrorism trial in Germany he was accused of being a bodyguard for 9/11 mastermind Bin Laden for a number of months in 2000.

Comment: Sanitizing The War On Terror
For many years now millions of people around the world, including former members of the US and other governments, academics and professionals have known and spoken about the fact that "al-Qaeda", far from being a modern Islamic terror group was the name given to a small grouping of extremist and deluded nut-jobs that the US and British governments hired and trained to fight the Russians in Afghanistan in the late 70's and early 80's. Also widely accepted is the fact that, after that particular conflict, Pakistani intelligence, in league with the CIA, continued to handle and groom these extremists and stage-manage their sporadic attacks around the world in order to conjure up the modern "Islamic terror threat".

Several mainstream media outlets and US government officials have stated that Osama bin laden was a CIA asset who was used to funnel money to these extremists and oversee the establishment of militant training camps, all under the control of Western agents.

A French intelligence report, carried by the mainstream press, stated that Osama Bin Laden met with a CIA agent in the American hospital in Dubai two months before the 9/11 attacks.

Everyone knows, (or should) that the Bush government escorted members of Bin Laden's family out of the US on September 11th 2001. We have all even been treated to a well-researched movie about the long standing ties between Bush senior and the US oil cartels and the bin laden family.

A Berlin train came to an abrupt halt Sunday morning after a woman who was orally pleasuring her partner took exception to being interrupted and assaulted two of her fellow passengers.

The couple were engaged in oral sex aboard the S5 train between the Jannowitzbrücke and Ostbahnhof stations when the altercation took place, according to a statement from Berlin police. Disturbed by the display, an 18-year-old female passenger approached the woman asking her to remove herself from between the man's legs as, among other things, there were children present. A heated verbal exchange then took place after which the younger passenger was assaulted.

Catherine Austin Fitts: The financial rape of America and what can be done to protect yourself (VIDEO)

george washington dollar
Investment advisor and former Assistant Secretary of Housing Catherine Austin Fitts warns that the "financial rape of America" is nothing more than "re-engineering" the debt based economy. This "rape" is happening from earth to space, and it connects to $21 trillion in "missing money" that has disappeared from the federal budget since the late 1990's. Fitts explains, "I started to look at where all this missing money from the federal government is going, and it led me into space. There are lots of questions. In the last few years, the commitment by the American government, the European government and the Asian governments have become much more overt. There is also the commitment from the private sector. . . .It's becoming much more feasible to do manufacturing, mining and other things in space. . . . You see a lot of the corporate world lining up to do this. . . . I think that is very exciting. At the same time, if you look at the sub-orbital platform and the orbital platform around earth is being used for control . . . and a lot of it comes down to control, control of what is going on in the planet."

Male circumcision ban proposed in Iceland, MP confronted with anger by Jewish and Muslim groups

'I don't see it as a religious matter,' insists Silja Dögg Gunnarsdóttir

Religious leaders have reacted with outrage to a bill proposed by MPs in Iceland that would criminalise male circumcision.

The bill proposes a six-year prison term for anyone found guilty of "removing sexual organs in whole or in part".

Salmann Tamimi, president of the Muslim Association of Iceland, described the proposal as an "attack on religion".

Circumcising girls has been illegal in Iceland since 2005, but there are currently no laws to regulate the practice against boys.

Describing circumcision as a "violation" of young boys' rights, the bill states the only time it should be considered is for "health reasons".

Young men would be given the opportunity to decide for themselves once they reached the age of consent.

Male circumcision is one of the most common surgical procedures in the world, with one recent study estimating that around 38 per cent of men globally have undergone the procedure.

According to the same study, around half of circumcisions are carried out for religious or cultural reasons.

Israel scraps plan to forcefully deport African asylum seekers while still seeking ways to 'voluntarily' relocate migrants

In a state statement, Israel said it will stop holding pre-deportation hearings for the asylum seekers and all previous decisions to forcefully deport the Africans living in the country have now been nullified.

Israeli authorities on Tuesday admitted that their plan to relocate African asylum seekers has collapsed, adding that there is no opportunity to deport Africans from the country.

The forced removal of the asylum seekers - mostly men from Eritrea and Sudan - "is no longer on the agenda," the Israeli government said in a written statement but added that it will keep looking for options to deport people voluntarily.

"Israel's immigration officials will continue to refer to infiltrators to the 'voluntary departure' office allowing them to move to a third country, but without conditioning the renewal of their legal status of their willingness to leave to a third country," the authorities stated.

British consultant psychiatrist takes on trans activists despite violence, warns of the dangers of sex change drugs in children

Dr. Lucy Griffin
A British consultant psychiatrist at Bristol Royal Infirmary has just placed herself on the trans activists' enemy list for an interview with The Mail on Sunday where she warned that the health of "hundreds of children is being put at risk by sex-change drugs doled out on the National Health Service," something she is "extremely worried" about considering the fact that these drugs have long-term effects, some of which are already turning up in adolescents. Dr. Lucy Griffin spoke to The Mail on Sunday:

She is the first NHS doctor to publicly voice fears about the damage being done by the huge increase in young people receiving irreversible medical treatments after declaring themselves transgender.

Europe needs military independence, Germany shouldn't buy the F-35 says Airbus Defense CEO

The CEO of Airbus Defense urged Europe to keep its military independence and warned Germany not to procure F-35s from the US, arguing it would kill the Franco-German effort to build their own fifth-generation jet.

"As soon as Germany becomes an F-35 nation, cooperation on all combat aircraft issues with France is dead," Dirk Hoke, the CEO of Airbus Defense and Space at Airbus Group, told Welt am Sonntag newspaper.

"Europe needs to define its sovereignty more clearly and state that we need to remain independent in defense and space," Hoke said, referring to the joint Franco-German project to develop a fifth-generation fighter, according to the newspaper.
