A mountain hotel in Davos has denied the rental of skiing equipment to Jewish guests, citing persistent unruly behavior.

The Pischa mountain restaurant hotel in Davos, Switzerland, has announced it will no longer rent out skiing and other snow-sports equipment to Jewish guests, due to an alleged long history of unruly behavior, property damage and theft. The establishment faced accusations of anti-Semitism, causing a major scandal and a police investigation.

The offensive notice appeared over the weekend at the door of the room used to store skiing equipment at the resort. The message in Hebrew explicitly denied Jewish guests access to the service.

Comment: What do you do if one group in particular is consistently being unruly and damaging equipment? What if it's not racism, it's just facts?

118 tons of coal spill into river after 'track defect' derails train in California

A Union Pacific train carrying 118 tons of coal derailed Sunday due to a track defect and dumped its contents into and around Plumas County's Feather River, according to railroad officials and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Fifteen rail cars chugging west on tracks parallel to the Middle Fork Feather River in Blairsden derailed, spilling the fuel into the river. At least 14 rail cars tipped over or sustained damage, Fish and Wildlife officials said. At least one rail car fell into the water.

"Several cars lost the total payload and some cars partially released," the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services said in a report detailing the incident.

Comment: Whilst it's certainly possible that this is simply part of the ever deteriorating state of US infrastructure, these repeated train derailments, in particular those carrying fertilizer and energy products, are also possibly be a variation on the myriad of attacks against energy supplies that are occurring with an increasing frequency in recent years. However this incident has the addition of a mass pollution event, which also seems to be part of the establishment agenda:

India's farmer protest marches towards New Delhi, riot police use drones to drop tear gas on crowds

india farmer protest
© APPolice drop tear gas canisters from drones on protesting farmers at one of the border points leading to New Delhi, where thousands of farmers are headed on tractors and trucks.
More than 200 farmers' unions have called on their supporters to march to the Indian capital to protest against unfulfilled demands on a wide range of issues including prices and pensions.

Tear gas was used on farmers who tried breaching the barriers at the Shambhu border between Punjab and Haryana, about 145 miles from the capital, New Delhi.

Drones were also used to drop tear gas canisters on the thousands gathered, while several farmers were detained at the border.

Comment: The farmer protests have now spread throughout most of Europe and, whilst the EU has made a number of concessions to their sinister green agenda, in the hope of quelling the movement, it seems unlikely that this will suffice in changing the collapse of farm businesses, and, if anything, it seems it will barely stave off the looming food shortages. And it seems that producers across much of the planet are facing a similar reality: The governments of some nations, such as like Russia, and China, however, have been a little more proactive: Chinese bank issues record $2.82 billion to country's agricultural sector for food security, reduced harvest expected due to abnormal weather

Best of the Web: Big Pharma tested 'secret bioweapon targeting Slavic DNA in Mariupol, Ukraine', video tour shows biowarfare laboratory

It is no surprise the city of Mariupol became the destination of choice for Big Pharma's tests on psychiatric ward patients as such testing is forbidden in Western countries, experts told Sputnik.

Major Western pharmaceutical companies tested rheumatological drugs on patients, including infants, in a psychiatric ward of a hospital in the city of Mariupol alongside Ukrainian officials for several years, according to documents obtained by Sputnik.

The tests were carried out when Mariupol was under Kiev's jurisdiction - until May 2022, when Russia seized control of the city.

Comment: RT reports:
RT tours secretive former Ukrainian medical research lab

The Russian city of Mariupol was a testbed for large-scale medical research on local civilians while under Ukrainian rule, a trove of recently discovered documents suggests.

RT's Steve Sweeney visited a disused psychiatric ward in the city, which has been undergoing rapid reconstruction after being incorporated into Russia following a referendum in late 2022.

In December of last year, a construction team made a shocking discovery at the disused ward, finding documents as well as medication and medical equipment related to secretive research conducted while the city was part of Ukraine.

The experiments took place for years in at least eight medical facilities across Mariupol, with leading Western biotech corporations allegedly benefiting from them, according to the documents.

"We've found documents that suggested thousands of people have been involved in the experiments, with the trials carried out for major pharmaceutical companies, including Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sanofi, GlaxoSmithKline, and others. Blood and other samples were collected and then sent to labs and clinics in Europe and the US for testing. The results of which are unknown," Sweeny explained.

The research was not only conducted on adults, but also on children and babies, the documents suggest. As well as being ethically questionable, the experiments on minors likely made the clinical trials illegal, a Russian doctor told RT on condition of anonymity.

While it's difficult to track all the participants of the experiments, witnesses are now coming forward with their testimonies about the research. A local man whose mother took part in the trials claimed the research was not safe.

"My mother got sick, they gave her drugs. I asked her what medication she was taking, but she did not give me a clear answer. She said that the drugs were simply given from a white box. Her condition worsened over the course of a month and then she died," the man told Sweeney.
Note that Putin sounded the alarm back in 2017 that genetic data of Slav's was being harvested, and in 2023 China called for an investigation into the known plans that the US was developing a bioweapon intended to target those with particular genetics.

In light of this, and amidst the contrived coronavirus crisis - with Covid itself being a bioweapon - Russia announced it would construct 14 biosafety facilities on its borders.

Moscow streaming: How Western sanctions helped Russia regain cultural sovereignty

Penalties have hasntened the demise of the Hollywood system in the country and a rejuvination of the local industry.

One and a half years ago, the Russian movie industry found itself in a tricky situation. When Hollywood's major studios withdrew their movies from the country's market, both cinemas and online streaming platforms lost access to many films. However, in the past year, the movie industry in Russia has adapted to the new reality and local streaming services have met with particular success. While movie theater statistics still fall short of pre-pandemic figures, the interest in online streaming services has been rapidly growing. In 2023, these platforms added a record number of titles to their media libraries. We explore how Russia's streaming platforms have adapted their business model to the new reality and what Russian audiences are watching today.

Kremlin feared Tucker Carlson would face 'persecution'

The West is becoming increasingly unpredictable and "could stoop to anything," Dmitry Peskov has claimed

Moscow was concerned that US journalist Tucker Carlson could face "persecution" even before his interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has revealed.

In an interview released by journalist Pavel Zarubin on Sunday, Peskov noted that it was Carlson who asked Putin for a sit-down, adding that the president quickly agreed to the idea.

However, the spokesman admitted that "there was some concern that there would be some kind of persecution of poor Carlson even before the interview," given that the West "is becoming increasingly unpredictable and could stoop to anything."

The mythical "Russian invasion of Europe": UK fantasizes about defeating Russia while Its military falls apart

thing in air
© Unknown"Lift off!"
On February 6, The Telegraph, one of the oldest publications in the United Kingdom, ran a story about the supposed "inability of Russia to deal with Europe, without the United States".

According to the author, Andrew Lilico, even if Washington DC pulled out of the old continent, "Putin would be crazy to start something".

Without even taking into account the fact that Russian President Vladimir Putin just dispelled all the nonsensical speculation about the mythical "Russian invasion of Europe" in his interview with Tucker Carlson, we will delve into the reasoning of the author and why his analysis is "slightly off", to put it euphemistically. First of all, the author seems to lack a basic understanding of the actual size of global economies, as well as the fact that industrial capacity, particularly a robust defense industry, is key to military power.

Lilico claims that the Russian economy is "fairly small, only around 85% of the size of Italy's" and that "its population of about 140 million is less than that of Germany plus France combined". Using the nominal GDP to measure economic power can be described as either functional illiteracy or propagandistic tendencies. The idea that Italian and Russian economies are not only comparable, but that the former is 15% larger, is simply ludicrous. Otherwise, instead of Moscow, Rome would've been the one with the world's largest arsenal of thermonuclear weapons.

Netherlands ordered to halt shipping F-35 parts to Israel over 'serious violations of international law' in Gaza

Gaza Israel bombing
© Adel Hana / APHospital in Gaza, January 2024
The Appeals Court in The Hague has ordered the government of the Netherlands to halt within one week further export of parts for F-35 warplanes Israel uses in the bombardment of the Gaza Strip.

The ruling on Monday holds that there is a "clear risk" the parts the Netherlands is providing for the regime are being used in "serious violations of international humanitarian law" in the besieged Palestinian territory.

The ruling followed an appeal by Amnesty International and Oxfam against a lower court decision in December that rejected their argument that shipping the F-35 parts were helping Israel carry out "violations of humanitarian law" in Gaza. They also said the deliveries implicate the Dutch government in the crimes of Israel.

Comment: One might consider it a possible small win, however with the US & UK involved in regular, often covert, flights to Israel, bringing all manner of weapons and supplies, it's unlikely to dampen Tel Aviv's ongoing slaughter: Report says UK secretly sent 500 troops to Cyprus base supplying weapons to Israel

That said, it is telling that increasing numbers of businesses and governments are withdrawing cooperation with Israel:

© Kristijan Bracun/APFILE:
One fatality and two injuries were reported following an uncommon shooting incident at a Greek shipping company in Athens on Monday, according to police sources and state television ERT.

The perpetrator, identified as a former employee of the company situated in the southern suburb of Glyfada, entered the premises and opened fire on employees, as stated by ERT. Authorities confirmed that the shooter remained inside the building with a negotiator deployed to the scene.

The victim, reportedly connected to the owner of the shipping company, European Navigation, was not officially identified by the police. Emergency services, including fire engines and ambulances, were present outside the building with law enforcement establishing a perimeter around the area.

Comment: A sign of the incredibly difficult times people are suffering? Considering the Red Sea crisis, and Greece's integral role in global shipping, it's notable that it occurred at a shipping company.
