The 36-second video, which was obtained by the Washington Examiner, was posted a week ago. It's unclear when it was made, but on Aug. 17, Taliban leaders promised amnesty for government workers and protection for women.
"I would like to assure the international community, including the United States, that nobody will be harmed," said Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid. "We don't want any internal or external enemies."
Only taking up the sport earlier this year and struggling to find a gym until MMA Masters in Florida accepted her, McLaughlin launched her career with a win that came via a second-round submission on a Combate Global card.
Yet the doubters and naysayers have poured scorn on the win, with accusations ranging from McLaughlin cheating to suggesting that opponent Celine Provost took a dive prior to the rear-naked choke finish.
Comment: That McLaughlin only took up MMA earlier this year and still managed to win actually proves how biological males have an inherent advantage over females, and further reveals the corruption of science that somehow supports the notion that hormone therapy erases or replaces one's biological gender:

- Sex-specific Alzheimer's treatment found to benefit males but not females

According to The Detroit News, Special Agent Richard Trask was fired last week while awaiting trial on charges of assault with intent to do bodily harm and allegations that he beat his wife's head against a nightstand following an argument caused by a swingers party they attended.
The firing of the law enforcement officer comes amid questions concerning potential misconduct by the FBI during the kidnapping investigation, and whether as many as 12 informants were driving the alleged conspiracy.
Comment: All this is made doubly interesting given this from two months back: Remember the plot to kidnap MI Gov. Whitmer that the FBI foiled? Yeah, the FBI apparently helped hatch it

The TGA says it hasn't found any evidence that ivermectin is useful against Covid, but then we have to ask, has the TGA looked?
Ivmmeta.com lists 60 studies involving 25,000 people that show its useful and 3 that don't:
So the TGA want to ban one drug to force the punters to pick the other drug?
Once upon a time the phrase would be "persuade me". Now it's just fines and jail if you disagree?
In the end the TGA appears to be banning it for psychological reasons, not medical ones — always a risky game to play when a group is trying to look like a medical agency, and not like a marketing team. It may have the opposite effect the TGA intends. If we want more people to stop using agricultural chemicals (and surely we do want that?) then don't we want the punters to get treatments under supervision from their GP and Pharmacist instead?
If the TGA wants more Australians to trust them with the vaccines, they might want to explain their decisions better than this.

On Monday, French interior minister Gérald Darmanin posted a statement on Twitter that the Ligue de Défense Noire Africaine (LDNA) would be banned in France following a weekend in which the group was allegedly involved in violence.
"I have decided to launch the procedure initiating the dissolution of the Black African Defense League. The speeches of this racist structure call for hatred and discrimination. Its actions cause disturbances to public order, like this weekend in Val-de-Reuil," he tweeted.
Comment: This also comes on the heels of France's ban of a 'violent ultra-left' group and Germany's crackdown including a Salafist group and a raid on a far-right group:

Comment: The UK can barely supply the power its people need, and with fuel powered cars, it's highly unlikely it will be able to handle any increased demand from millions more electric car users. Also, note that this implicitly means that the government has the power to control people's ability to move freely, similar to the vaccine passport scheme, and so it's not a stretch to imagine that 'dissidents' (i.e. the unvaccinated or those associated with them) may find their access to the power supply removed or throttled:

Feminism has become a religion of victimhood with strict rules what to say and do and think
Scotland is developing some of the most authoritarian laws in the Western world. Having already made saying offensive things in the comfort of your own home a potential hate crime, the Scottish government now looks set to make sexism a criminal offence.
An independent Working Group on Misogyny was set up earlier this year, and has a remit to explore the pros and cons of making sexism a hate crime. But this is not simply about actual crimes, like beating up a woman while full of hate. The working group is also focusing its attention on the issue of misogyny and sexist behaviour in and of itself, like wolf-whistling for example.
Indeed, looking at the concerns of the working group so far, it would appear that almost all aspects of relationships between women and men and girls and boys are being examined to determine how the state and police can better manage our personal and private relationships.
The blurb from Holyrood, the Scottish parliament, admits that there is no clear or accepted definition of misogyny. Indeed, when you read the books and articles authored by those involved with the committee, it would appear that misogyny can be just about anything they want it to mean. Consequently, the potential for state intervention around this issue is vast.

Israeli woman receives third vaccine shot at Clait health clinic in Jerusalem.
"We don't know when it will happen; I hope very much that it won't be within six months, like this time, and that the third dose will last for longer."Israel, which has mainly used the Pfizer Inc.-BioNTech SE vaccine, has so far inoculated about 2.8 million people with a third dose after beginning a drive to administer booster shots in August. Health officials have said the effects of the initial Covid-19 shots weaken five months after inoculation, making boosters necessary.
The U.S. and U.K. also plan to start offering booster shots later this month, while Europe is also considering third doses. That comes as the World Health Organization pleads for a moratorium on third shots. Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said last week that governments should wait at least until the end of this year so that poorer countries can get better access to vaccines.
On Saturday, the Taliban raised their flag over the presidential palace on the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, signalling that their work governing the newly formed Islamic emirate had begun. The white banner bearing a Qur'anic verse was hoisted by Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the prime minister of the interim Taliban government.
That same day, Rohullah Azizi, the brother of the former vice-president and anti-Taliban resistance leader Amrullah Saleh, was shot dead at a Taliban checkpoint. Saleh has declared himself the legitimate acting president of Afghanistan, and has been leading the embattled forces resisting the Taliban in Panjshir.
The international community has been keeping a close watch on how the new, all-male, Taliban regime is treating Afghan women in order to gauge just how much the Taliban's pledges of moderation are a reality.
In one of the first policies announced by the Taliban, the higher education minister, Abdul Baqi Haqqani, laid out a series of rules that will govern women's access to higher education in Afghanistan.
Comment: New rules: one step forward, two steps back.

Hundreds of Afghan women wearing full-face veils forced to take part in pro-Taliban rally outside a university flanked by armed fanatics.
The minister said that only women teachers will be allowed to teach female students and there will be no shortage of women teachers. But, if it is really required, men will also be permitted to teach women without violating Islamic law.
"They (male teachers) can also teach but in accordance with Sharia. They should teach from behind a curtain or use (video) screens and other such facilities," Haqqani said.
He stressed his government intends to preserve the gains Afghanistan has made in the education sector over the past 20 years but there will be no coeducation in the country.
Since returning to power nearly a month ago, the Taliban have promised to defend human rights and allow women to study or work so they can remain part of the global community and continue to receive financial assistance to deal with multiple crises facing the country.
Haqqani said that gender segregation would be enforced across the county and all subjects being taught currently would also be reviewed in the coming months. He did not elaborate.

Comment: So much for Taliban 2.0!
