Hamza bin Laden, 29, the son of the late Osama bin Laden, has recently married a daughter of the lead 9/11 plane hijacker, according to bin Laden's half-brothers as quoted by The Guardian.
The name of the bride has not been disclosed, but the media outlet speculates this could be a Egyptian national in her late teens or early 20s, the daughter of Mohammed Atta, one of the leaders of the 9/11 attack and who personally rammed the northern tower of World Trade Center in New York City.
"We have heard he has married the daughter of Mohammed Atta," Ahmad al-Attas, bin Laden's half-brother, said. "We're not sure where he is, but it could be Afghanistan."
Ahmad and and Hamza bin Laden's other half-brother, Hassan al-Attas, said that Hamza has taken on a senior position in Al-Qaeda and is believed to be the second in command to the group's current leader.
Hamza earlier made public statements urging followers to wage war on Washington, London, Paris and Tel Aviv.
The explosion was heard just before 2pm in the Borgo Panigale area, on the outskirts of the city. At least 14 of the injured people are serious condition.
The blast happened after a truck carrying flammable liquids was involved in a crash with other vehicles. The police shared video footage showing that a large section of the road collapsed following the incident.
A statement released by the Russian Foreign Ministry on Monday says that Seagal's unpaid role aims to strengthen"contacts, mutual understanding and trust between the peoples of Russia and the United States."
His duties will involve promoting bilateral ties in a wide range of fields including culture, art, science, education, sports, public and youth exchanges, that will see him participate in relevant events both in Russia and abroad, and maintain contacts with US partners.
Seagal will also engage in efforts to preserve "Russia's memorable places in the United States, study and popularize the legacy of Russian America and other pages of our common history that are of great interest to citizens of both countries," the ministry said.
The controversial tweet published by @ANCParliament account last Thursday read: "The biggest mistake we are making is to consult murderers. White people are 9% of the population, they own 79% of land. They never came and consulted us for the land. If they want us to forgive them now, then let us share the land, the mineral resources."

Roscosmos Head Dmitry Rogozin before the launch of the Soyuz-FG launch vehicle with the Soyuz MS-09 manned spacecraft from the First Gagaringky Launch Pad at Baikonur
"We are not going to cede our leadership in space to anyone. We respect our country and we will give a serious battle to our competitors, I promise you this," Dmitry Rogozin said during his Monday visit to a satellite-making factory in the city of Yaroslavl.
He added that over the past years the Russian space industry had lost some of its leading positions on international markets, but eventually the executives had started to understand that the main turnover was not in delivering someone else's cargo in orbit, but in creating satellites.

The Federal Security Service (FSB) has initiated an investigation in Russia's Central Research Institute of Machine-Building (TsNIImash; a subsidiary of Roscosmos). The reason of the probe is the supposed leak of information to Western intelligence agencies concerning Russian research into hypersonic technologies.
Cleveland photographer Jeremy Pelzer spotted the two friends, who had travelled from the city of Delaware to attend the Trump rally, wearing matching t-shirts displaying the controversial slogan: "I'd rather be a Russian than a Democrat."
Unsurprisingly, the photograph has since gone viral and the seemingly pro-Russia sentiment has Democrats fired up in outrage at the thought of Trump supporters "proudly choosing Russia over their fellow Americans".
Comment: That's some great trolling right there!

Putin casts his ballot at a polling station during a parliamentary election in Moscow, Russia, September 18, 2016
Let's start with a simple analysis of the results. Putin, who scored 76.7%, received more than three and a half times more votes than all the other candidates combined. At the same time, he was the only one who acted as a self-nominee. The remaining 7 candidates were nominated by parties representing the entire political spectrum (from right to left, including radicals and moderates, patriots and compradors).
What does this result say, except, of course, that the Russian people absolutely trust the current head of state? It suggests absolute distrust towards the political parties. All of them. I suspect that it is for this reason that Putin refused to be nominated from a party, which would reduce, not increase his support.
Comment: A good summation of the leadership issues facing Russia going forward. Putin's ability to influence and shape the attitudes of Russia's young people, who will move into positions of authority, will bear greatly on the problem. As the article states, he is aware of it, and actively moving on the issue.

There is no doubt that plastic pollution is a serious problem that needs to be addressed by the people of the planet. According to a report published by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, by the year 2050, there will be more plastic in the oceans than there are fish. Right now, one garbage truck of plastic is dumped into the ocean every minute.
This disturbing reality is underscored by the recent discovery of another giant patch of plastic-bigger than Mexico-floating in the South Pacific Sea. It was discovered by Captain Charles Moore, who found the North Pacific Garbage Patch in 1997.
The effects of this ocean epidemic are captured in videos of marine life being impaled, trapped or killed by plastic. One distressing video shows researchers in Costa Rica removing an entire plastic straw from the nostril of a sea turtle. In another video, a whale asks fishermen for help removing a plastic bag from its head and then appears to flap its fin in appreciation. One million seabirds die each year from ingesting plastic debris, and up to 90 percent have plastic in their guts.
The minister made this scandalous announcement live on a Ukrainian talkshow - a platform which Ukrainian politicians typically use to float controversial policies - where he claimed that the Moscow-Kiev railway is "worth one hryvnia" (the equivalent of the English saying "not worth a dime"), and that 2018 may be the year that Kiev effectively severs the transport line.
In fact, the Kiev-Moscow line is not only worth a dime, but is one of the major sources of income of the increasingly bankrupt Kiev regime. According to Ukraine's own railway transport administration, Ukrzaliznytsya, in 2017 it was the single most profitable Ukrainian railway, reaping in nearly six million dollars.

According to figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), fatalities involving fentanyl were up by 29%, with 75 deaths in 2017, compared to 58 in the previous year.
The drug, which can be 100 times stronger than heroin, is used officially to treat terminally ill patients. It is also taken recreationally both on it's own, in its various forms, and alongside heroin.
Carfentanyl, a type of fentanyl, is increasingly being cited as a cause on death certificates. The drug, a unit of which can be up to 10,000 stronger than morphine, accounted for 27 deaths in 2017.

Comment: This plot sounds like bad fan fiction written by a cheap propagandist. But then, truth is sometimes stranger than fiction!
