Gov Newsom to order mandatory COVID testing or vaccinations for teachers

Hours after both San Francisco and Oakland officials announced mandatory vaccinations or weekly testing for teachers, Gov. Gavin Newsom was traveling to the East Bay to expand the mandate to all school employees within California, according to published reports.

Politico and the Los Angeles Times both reported that the announcement would be coming on Wednesday while Newsom pays a visit to the Oakland Unified School District which began 2021-2022 classes on Monday.

California would be the first state in the country to issue a such a mandate amid a surge in delta variant COVID cases and schools reopening to wide scale in-class instruction for the first time since March 2020. At the nearby Pleasanton Unified School District, officials said they were prepared for such an announcement. Patrick Gannon, spokesperson for the district, said:
"It's not something that is entirely unexpected to us. We have spent the last year and a half providing opportunities for both our staff and our students to get vaccinated if they were able to."
School employees will join state workers and healthcare workers who had previously been required for vaccinations or weekly testing.

Here's what else Newsom had to say:
Half of the state's population is now under mask mandates and recommendations regardless of vaccination status. The statewide positivity rate has risen from 0.7% last month before the state fully reopened its economy to 5.3% on Sunday.

At his press conference, Newsom specifically called out conservative figures whom he said have shared misinformation undermining the vaccine.
"We are exhausted, respectfully exhausted by the ideological prism that too many Americans are living under. We are exhausted by the Ron Johnsons, and the Tucker Carlsons. We are exhausted by the Marjorie Taylor Greenes. We are exhausted by the right-wing echo chamber that has been perpetuating misinformation around the vaccine and its efficacy and safety. We are exhausted by the politicization of this pandemic."
Newsom is in for a rude (and exhausting) surprise.

The astonishing hubris of a global experimental vaccine

It is an objective, indisputable fact: never in the history of the world has there been a global push to administer an experimental medicine to all of humanity, billions of us, at the same time.

I want you to stop and reflect on that. Imagine the hubris it required both to carry out this plan and to propagandize the world to carry it out.

"Hubris?" you ask. "What do you mean?"

The Covid vaccines are experimental. The FDA has not approved them. Most vaccines require years to test and approve, in no small part because we want to make sure they don't have dangerous long-term side effects, which they can have; the CDC has published a list of problems with selected approved vaccines. Many experimental vaccines never make it out of the experimental phase. CNN made similar points back when Trump was, wrongheadedly (I thought so at the time) pushing for rapid approval of the Covid vaccines. Of course, the mercurial news organization hastened to forget all that when the Biden administration decided rapid vaccine deployment was a good idea. They shouldn't have: for all the good they certainly have done, physicians warn us that vaccines can be dangerous for some, and experimental vaccines are, naturally, even more so.

Comment: Authoritarian followers do as they are told. That so many have acquiesced speaks volumes for the effectiveness of slow and unrelenting programming. It is, for all intents and nefarious purposes, a choice.

This is not just scientific madness, it appears to be very intentional and purposeful.

The Moderna and Pfizer vaccine tests were conducted, as customary, with a control group; a group within the trial who were given a placebo and not the test vaccine. However, during the trial -and after the untested vaccines were given emergency use authorization- the vaccine companies conducting the trial decided to break protocol and notify the control group they were not vaccinated. Almost all the control group were then given the vaccine.

Purposefully dissolving the placebo group violates the scientific purpose to test whether the vaccine has any efficacy; any actual benefit and/or safety issues. Without a control group there is nothing to compare the vaccinated group against. According to NPR, the doctors lost the control group in the Johnson County Clinicial Trial (Lexena, Kansas) on purpose:

France's Ministry of the Interior found that one Covid vaccination or screening center has been vandalized per day on average since mid-July, with around 20 such sites across the country attacked, local media reported on Tuesday.

Information gathered from the Ministry of the Interior shows that there have been 20 attacks on vaccination hubs and Covid testing centers nationwide from July 14 to August 9.

A vaccination center in Landes, southwestern France was reportedly defaced on July 19, with vandals writing 'Nazis' and 'collaborators', alongside dozens of swastikas. Meanwhile, the word 'genocide' was painted on the floor of another hub in Vendôme just over a week later.

Comment: Macron's government is plowing ahead with vaccine and lockdown policies despite the clear will of the citizenry. How long before they blow up in his face? The French are not a patient people.

He speaks with what most Americans would consider a rural drawl. He wears flannel shirts during CNN interviews and photo shoots. Large tattoos bedazzle his neck and arms; he has a beard. In a swooning front-cover profile for Time magazine, Fanone told Molly Ball he considers himself to be one of the "rednecks" who voted for Donald Trump.

But a few overlooked yet eye-popping details in Ball's piece undermine Fanone's public persona as the besieged D.C. undercover narcotics officer who donned an official uniform for the first time in 10 years to help rescue his colleagues from bloodthirsty Trump "insurrectionists" on January 6. Fanone has been on a nonstop publicity tour for seven months, stalking Republican lawmakers on Capitol Hill and confronting his police union for its lack of support.

Comment: There are some who have compared the the Jan 6th 'riot' to the Reichstag fire; a trumped up pretext for implementing sweeping political change, with the requisite show trials and silencing of potential witnesses.

Shapiro was asked about Critical Race Theory during the "Real Time" panel, where he faced off with MSNBC contributor Malcolm Nance. In an apparent effort to avoid being accused of "redefining" the concept of CRT, Shapiro took the audience through the theory, which he studied in law school.

Comment: James Lindsay hit the nail on the head in his article on Critical Race Theory:
It is against liberalism and the liberal order upon which Western societies are founded, and it rejects both equality and neutral principles of constitutional law (these were the backbone of both the abolitionist movement that ended slavery and the Civil Rights Movement). It also rejects legal reasoning and Enlightenment rationalism. This makes Critical Race Theory unreasonable, illiberal, against equality, and anti-American, by definition.

The French president has called on all people to get jabbed as he spoke of his concern about the trajectory of the Covid-19 pandemic in France as the increasing prevalence of the Delta variant drives up hospitalizations.

Speaking on Wednesday at the opening of the Health Defense Council, French President Emmanuel Macron reiterated his aim that all French people who can get the vaccine, elect to do so.

The president's call came amid what he described as a "more than delicate health situation" in France, largely due to the increasing prevalence of the Delta variant.

A Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) teacher in Virginia resigned in front of the school board Tuesday, stating in a defiant and emotional speech that she refused to continue pushing their "highly politicized agendas."

"Within the last year, I was in one of my so-called equity trainings that White, Christian, able-bodied females currently have the power in our schools and 'this has to change,'" teacher Laura Morris said during the public comment period of the board meeting.

"Clearly, you've made your point. You no longer value me or many other teachers you've employed in this county. So since my contract outlines the power that you have over my employment in Loudoun County Public Schools, I thought it necessary to resign in front of you."

"School board, I quit," she said. Choking up, she added: "I quit your policies, I quit your training, and I quit being a cog in a machine that tells me to push highly politicized agendas to our most vulnerable constituents - children."

Federal judge blocks Biden mandate requiring hospitals to provide gender transition surgeries

A federal judge has blocked the Biden administration from enforcing a mandate on several religious organizations that would have required them to perform gender transition surgeries or abortions.

Judge Reed O'Connor of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas permanently blocked the Biden administration from applying the mandate to all plaintiffs in the case. Those plaintiffs include the Franciscan Alliance, a Catholic hospital system that operates twelve hospitals in Indiana and Illinois, in addition to numerous other health facilities in those states.

The administration may not enforce the mandate on plaintiffs "in a manner that would require them to perform or provide insurance coverage for gender-transition procedures or abortions," O'Connor wrote in his ruling.

Wisconsin's Democratic Gov. Tony Evers vetoed a series of six election security bills Tuesday sent to his desk by the state's GOP-controlled legislature.

Republicans do not have the votes to override Evers' veto, as no Democrats supported the legislation in June.

The governor also said that two Wisconsin counties should not comply with subpoenas to turn over ballots and voting equipment as part of an investigation being led by the Republican head of the Assembly elections committee.

'Hell no,' Evers said when asked if the local election clerks should comply. 'You´ve seen what´s going on in Arizona. It´s a clown show.'

Arizona's partisan election audit has been full of embarrassing revelations, the suspension of the audit's account and one of its early supporters describing the process as botched.
