Government agents seized $181,500 in cash at airport and won't give it back

A Florida trucking company is suing two federal agencies, saying agents seized $181,500 in cash at Tampa International Airport and won't give it back.

The federal lawsuit filed by FGL Transport, Inc., and owners Scott Smith and Michael Rozenberg asks the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, along with agency officials, to return the money, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

The lawsuit claims that in September, the company gave employee Boris Nulman $191,500 and a plane ticket to Cleveland to purchase several big trucks. When the cash in Nulman's carry-on bag went through a Transportation Security Administration scanner, the agents pulled it aside for an inspection.

Nulman was later allowed to leave, but only with $10,000, according to the lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He never went to Cleveland to buy the trucks.

The lawsuit says an agent gave Nulman a receipt to document the $181,500, but the federal agencies now say only $159,950 was confiscated. That's $21,550 less than what the company says was seized.

Comment: Chances are, they will never see that money again. See also:

Trump supporters are George W Bush supporters LARPing as Ron Paul supporters

The Trump administration has released its official statement to Congress justifying its drone assassination of Iran's top military official Qassem Soleimani last month. Surprising exactly zero people, the formal notification makes no mention whatsoever of any imminent threat posed by Soleimani, a direct contradiction of this administration's previous claims defending the assassination.

"The Trump administration has been accused of lying after the publication of a new report that undermined its reasoning for assassinating Iranian General Qassem Soleimani last month," reports Middle East Eye. "The chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Friday that President Donald Trump's official notification to Congress defending the 3 January strike failed to specify an 'imminent threat' posed by Soleimani."

"This official report directly contradicts the president's false assertion that he attacked Iran to prevent an imminent attack against United States personnel and embassies," Democratic Representative Eliot Engel of New York said.

West Point tackles 'toxic masculinity'

west point
© D. Myles Cullen
If you are a good, committed cultural Marxist and your mission is to help dismantle the cultural, economic, and power structures in the capitalist West from within, how do you undertake such a grand task? How do you subvert an entire civilization? You undermine its foundations, and the most basic building block of all is the nuclear family. To deconstruct the family successfully, you must subvert masculinity, because masculinity is the warrior spirit of that nuclear family. To emasculate a civilization, you indoctrinate its youth to believe that the natural traits typically associated with masculinity - such as aggression, competitiveness, and emotional self-control - are poisonous to society and even to boys and men themselves. You convince men - especially society's warriors - to reject their very nature altogether.

This January, cadets at West Point, the United States Military Academy, were required to attend educational events for "Honorable Living Day," the academy's third such day hosted during the short tenure of Superintendent Lt. Gen. Darryl A. Williams. The first was held last February and focused on eliminating sexual assault and harassment at the academy, which has been co-ed since 1976. The second, held last semester, called upon cadets, staff and faculty to improve the culture in order to combat sexual assault further.

At this most recent Honorable Living Day, the goal was to "expand the discussion beyond sexual assault and talk about how all aspects of the community can come together and promote an atmosphere of honorable living to include diversity, inclusion and acceptance of people from differing backgrounds, races and genders." Lt. Gen. Williams described the curriculum as being "connected" to improving combat readiness.

Douglas Murray: The high price Jordan Peterson has paid for telling the truth

Jordan Peterson Douglas Murray

Close friend Douglas Murray reveals the famous 'professor against political correctness' has paid a high price.
In a dramatic video published on YouTube last week, a woman looked to the camera and delivered a deeply personal announcement.

She revealed that her father, Jordan Peterson, the famous 'professor against political correctness', was in intensive care in Russia after being hospitalised following a severe dependence on benzodiazepines - a class of anti-anxiety pills.

'He nearly died several times,' she says solemnly in the clip that has been viewed more than 2.4 million times.

'He almost died from what the medical system did to him in the West.'

Emmanuel Macron's candidate for mayor of Paris in next month's municipal elections has been forced to stand down after the leak of sexual images and messages online, blaming what he called "vile" attacks on his private life on social media.

Benjamin Griveaux, who was standing for the president's governing centrist La République En Marche (LREM) party, made the announcement on Friday morning less than 48 hours after the material was first posted to a website.

"My family does not deserve this. Nobody should ever be subjected to this kind of abuse," Griveaux said in a statement after a crisis meeting at his Paris campaign headquarters.

"For more than a year, my family and I have been subjected to defamatory remarks, lies, rumours, anonymous attacks, the revelation of stolen private conversations and death threats. As if all this was not enough, yesterday a new level was reached."

Griveaux has received support since he withdrew from the race from politicians including the prime minister, Edouard Philippe, plus others who would more usually be his opponent. "The publication of intimate images to destroy an adversary is odious," said hard-left leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

Most teachers quite disturbed about their unions' push for sexualization and indoctrination of school children

Rebecca Friedrichs

28-year veteran California teacher Rebecca Friedrichs
Speaking in the nation's capital, a 28-year veteran California teacher explained that most teachers are disturbed by the decades-long push to indoctrinate and oversexualize school children by teachers' unions dedicated to far-left cultural and political causes and not the well-being of kids.

"When you hear that teachers are behind comprehensive sexuality education or that teachers agree with the sexualization of children, that's a huge deception," said Rebecca Friedrichs.

On the contrary, "America's real teachers are deeply distrubed by the sexualization of our children," said Friedrichs.

"America's real teachers have been silenced and bullied by the very organization that is pushing the sexualization of children: That is, labor unions," she declared.

Corey Feldman to release documentary on the 'biggest problem in Hollywood' - pedophilia

Corey Feldman is working on a documentary titled "Truth: The Rape of the Two Coreys."
The topic of pedophilia and the trafficking of children has gained a lot of attention within the past year alone, more than we've ever seen from the mainstream. This is due in large part to revelations like the entire Jeffrey Epstein/Prince Andrew Saga, which brought even more attention to this issue. Another example is the rampant child porn sharing that's been happening within the Pentagon.

And so there is a growing awareness to the fact that this type of activity is going on in places of high power amongst many people who seem to be above the law. Fortunately we have seen some prosecutions, like the recent conviction of the Vatican's Cardinal George Pell for sexually abusing children. The list is long. In fact, more details have emerged suggesting that one of Epstein's main jobs was to entrap high profile people into committing these very types of crimes. You can read more about that specifically here.

When it comes to Hollywood specifically, Harvey Weinstein and recent Kevin Spacey allegations have been responsible for bringing even more awareness to the problem of sexual abuse, and it's not surprising that Weinstein roamed within the same circles as Epstein, as you can see here.

Smallville actress Allison Mack's role as a lead member of the NXIVM sex cult also brought attention to the issue. She worked for owner Keith Raniere helping to recruit people into what appeared on the surface to be executive success programs designed to empower people, but within the inner circle was something much different. Raniere was arrested, along with Mack, in March 2018 in Mexico on charges of sex trafficking. This group also has strange connections to the powerful elite, as Billionaire heiress Clare Bronfman was involved, and was indicted on racketeering charges. Rolling Stone reported:
"There are strange political connections as well. Mark Vicente, a documentary filmmaker and former high-ranking member of the group, testified at the trial of NXIVM head Keith Raniere that Clare Bronfman, the billionaire Seagram's heiress and alleged benefactor of the organization, approached him and a few other members of the group to help her make a contribution to a Clinton campaign." (source)
So, as you can see, all this is connected in some very strange ways.

Canadian energy giant 'funding' Oregon sheriff's unit to thwart protests against one of its own pipeline projects - report

Police mace protesters at a demonstration against the Dakota Access pipeline in 2016
A Canadian fossil fuel company "bought" a sheriff's unit in Oregon with the aim of controlling and monitoring the behavior and activities of anti-gas pipeline activists and environmentalists, the Intercept has revealed.

In November 2018, Coos County Sheriff's Office - which has closely monitored local opposition to the Jordan Cove Energy Project - hosted a two-day training event for officers, instructing them on how to deal with battles against protesters.

Yet, the event costs of $26,250 were paid by Pembina Pipeline Corp. - the Canadian energy company that owns the Jordan Cove liquefied natural gas project, which the Trump administration has named as one of its high-priority infrastructure projects.

Not only did it cover the costs of the police training event, Pembina for four years was the "sole funding source" of a unit within the sheriff's office dedicated to handling security concerns around the pipeline development, according to a new investigation by the Intercept.

85,000 marijuana convictions expunged in California

Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey
Some 85,000 marijuana convictions, some going back decades, will be dismissed in California.

Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey announced that she had secured the automated dismissal of 66,000 marijuana convictions in Los Angeles County alone. In total, the State Attorney's office announced that there have now been 85,000 cases expunged in all of California.

According to the LA Times, Lacey filed the motion asking a judge to erase 62,000 felony convictions dating back to 1961 and 4,000 misdemeanor convictions in a total of 10 cities across the county on Thursday. Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Sam Ohta signed off on the order Tuesday.

That means 22,000 civilians will no longer carry felonies on their records in California and 15,000 no longer have a criminal record at all. Of the 53,000 people who received the relief, 32% are black, 45% are Latino, and 20% are white according to the Associated Press.

In 2016, Proposition 64 legalized the purchase and possession of small amounts of cannabis and allowed people to grow as many as six plants for personal use. And then in 2018, state legislation ordered California prosecutors to review past marijuana cases eligible for dismissal under Proposition 64 and decide whether to challenge any claims by July of this year, NPR reported.
