China reported Tuesday its first population decline since 1961, as the world's most populous country faces a demographic crisis.

By the numbers: There were 1.41175 billion people living in China at the end of 2022 — a drop of about 850,000 compared to the previous year's end, according to data from Beijing's National Bureau of Statistics Tuesday.
  • A total of 9.56 million people were born in the country in 2022 and 10.41 million people died, per the NBS.

Comment: Partly in response to the falling birthrates, China is in attempting to discourage its people from opting for abortions, as is Russia. Meanwhile the West, as a whole, is pushing for even later-term abortions, and it's 'liberalising' its euthanasia laws. One exception to the Western trend is Hungary which has just unleashed a raft of measures encouraging families to have at least 3 children:

The USA's biggest school districts are explicitly hiding kids' gender transitions from parents

The nation's largest school districts are implementing policies that require educators to keep students' gender transitions a secret from their parents.

Los Angeles Unified School District, Chicago Public Schools and New York Public Schools are promoting practices and policies that hide a student's transgender status from their parents. The policies have become a cultural flashpoint amid a battle over the role parents should play in their child's education, and the extent to which gender ideology has infiltrated K-12 classrooms.

"Parents, not teachers or school administrators, are first and foremost responsible for the health and wellbeing of their children," Alex Nester, investigative fellow for Parents Defending Education, a parental rights in education group, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. "School officials have no right to step into the place of parents in directing a child's upbringing. And in doing so, they are sowing division between families and villainizing parents."

Comment: Trust and communication, especially over uncomfortable topics, are basic building blocks necessary for human development and relationships. Sowing division within the family by undermining trust and communication, is undoubtedly a corrupting and nefarious influence. Schools are now supplanting the authority of the parent when they assuredly cannot deal with the consequences of life altering decisions left to children alone. These policies are inhuman, anti-family, and actually quite abusive toward children, all under the guise of 'respect' and 'compassion'.

San Francisco reparations panel pitches $5M — each — to black residents

People applaud at a meeting of the reparations task force in San Francisco.
A San Francisco panel studying reparations has proposed a one-time payment of $5 million to each black resident of the city deemed eligible as recompense for the "decades of harm they have experienced," according to a report on Monday.

"A lump sum payment would compensate the affected population ... and will redress the economic and opportunity losses that Black San Franciscans have endured, collectively, as the result of both intentional decisions and unintended harms perpetuated by City policy," the San Francisco African American Reparations Advisory Committee said in a draft report issued last month, Fox News Digital reported.

The proposal could cost the city, which has a 2022-2023 budget of $14 billion, roughly $50 billion, the Daily Mail reported.

The committee also proposed wiping out all debts associated with educational, personal, credit card and payday loans for black households.

The 15-member panel was established by San Francisco supervisors in May 2021. A separate task force created by California's legislature is also studying reparations.

The city group's report says: "Reparation must be adequate, effective, prompt, and should be proportional to the gravity of the violations and the harm suffered."

US draft law introduced to criminalize vilification of 'non-White' people

A bill introduced in the US Congress earlier this month would expand the definition of "hate crime" so wide it could potentially include content that is found to have "inspired" a racially-motivated crime.

Critics of the legislation sponsored by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) have argued that it imperils Americans' freedom of expression by holding the threat of criminal charges based on others' behavior over their heads.

The "Leading Against White Supremacy Act of 2023" sets out two new offenses, the first being "white supremacy inspired hate crime" and the second being a related conspiracy charge.

To be guilty of the latter, one need only "publish material advancing white supremacy, white supremacist ideology, antagonism based on 'replacement theory,' or hate speech that vilifies or is otherwise directed against any non-white person or group" to social media. What happens after that determines whether a crime is committed.

Federal agents wait for news of their injured colleagues outside the Rio Piedras Medical Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Nov. 17, 2022, following a shooting off Puerto Rico's southwest coast that left an agent and a suspected drug smuggler dead.
Two suspected drug traffickers have been killed during a shootout with U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents off the coast of Puerto Rico, officials say.

Jeffrey Quiñones, spokesman for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, told the Associated Press that the incident happened early Sunday when federal agents detected a suspicious boat at sea and a chase ensued.

The chase ended when the suspected drug traffickers shot at the federal agents, who returned fire, Quiñones said.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams stands outside a shelter during his visit to discuss immigration with local authorities in El Paso, Texas, U.S., January 15, 2023.
The mayor of New York traveled to the Mexican border city of El Paso on Sunday and declared that "there is no room in New York" for busloads of migrants being sent to America's most populous city.

Eric Adams, a Democrat, was also critical of the administration of Democratic U.S. President Joe Biden, saying "now is the time for the national government to do its job" about the immigrant crisis at America's southern border.

The visit of a New York mayor to a southern border city about the issue of immigrants is unprecedented.

A Loudoun County father, whose arrest at a June 2021 school board meeting was used by the Biden administration to justify a politicized attack on concerned parents, was found not guilty of trespassing on Wednesday.

Law enforcement arrested Jon Tigges at a Loudoun school board meeting on June 22, 2021, after he tried expressing concerns about the school district's "moral decay." A Virginia district judge found Tigges guilty in October of 2021. Loudoun Circuit Judge Douglas Fleming Jr., however, cleared Tigges of any wrongdoing.

Fleming determined that Tigges not only had a First Amendment right to attend the heated meeting but also that the superintendent who shut down the official gathering last summer had no right to declare it an "unlawful assembly."

Melania Podoliak wants the entire nation "wiped off the face of the Earth".

Ukrainian blogger Melania Podoliak, a prominent guest on Western news channels, has demanded that Russia and its people be "wiped off the face of the earth." Podoliak issued her call for genocide on Saturday after her own country's air defense supposedly caused a Russian missile to hit an apartment block.

"It's absolutely fair for me to wish for all Russians and Russia to be wiped off the face of the Earth," Podoliak tweeted. "It's not hate speech, it's not horrible of me, it's just FAIR."

CNN and WaPo COVID expert claims number of pandemic deaths has been OVERCOUNTED and that many people died while sick with virus, not of it

dr leana wen

Dr. Leana Wen says the number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 may be greater than the number of people actually dying from the virus.
Almost three years since the coronavirus pandemic took hold, CNN medical analyst and Washington Post columnist Dr. Leana Wen has admitted the medical community is 'overcounting' the number of 'COVID deaths and hospitalizations.'

In an opinion piece entitled: 'We are overcounting COVID deaths and hospitalizations. That's a problem,' Wen cites sources that claim that most 'patients diagnosed with COVID are actually in the hospital for some other illness.'

Wen begins: 'According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the United States is experiencing around 400 COVID deaths every day. At that rate, there would be nearly 150,000 deaths a year. But are these Americans dying from COVID or with COVID?'

Joe Rogan scorches 'liberal robot zombie' phenomenon that brainwashes people: 'Can't think for themselves'

Podcast host Joe Rogan laughs on an episode of his show.
Comedian Matt McCusker said the woke left has 'hijacked the definition of being cool' by convincing youth they must 'love government and big corporations'.

Comedians Matt McCusker and Shane Gillis jointed "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast on Saturday to talk about how media and academia turn people into mindless servants of the establishment.

Rogan spoke with the comedians, one of whom had been infamously canceled by "Saturday Night Live" for past offensive humor. Rogan brought up a viral video showing political performance artist Alex Stein trolling an activist, "This right-wing comedian, he goes to one of these Ukraine protests and he brings a homeless guy, and he says 'my wife's boyfriend is homeless, why don't you help him and the homeless people here?'"
