Demonstrators gather in downtown Houston for a March for Our Lives protest for gun legislation and school safety Saturday, March 24, 2018.
A survivor of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting is telling his classmates who support gun control to stop using the name of his sister to push their agenda.

Patrick Petty's sister Alaina was in the JROTC and would never have supported the gun control proposals that her classmates are eagerly pushing. Alaina was one of three JROTC students who died during the shooting.

Comment: In the 'land of the free', all is up for grabs, whether you want to be or not. If the media can use you for their ratings, they will. And now it appears that Gonzalez is taking a page from their book.

Heartbreaking: 11yo boy survived by jumping out of window of burning mall, his entire family perishes

Sergey Moskalenko

Sergey Moskalenko with his father back in 2014.
The most harrowing footage from the Kemerovo mall fire shows a boy leap out of from the 4th floor window. He is now an induced coma, and when he wakes up doctors will tell him that his parents and 4-year old sister are dead.

Eleven-year-old Sergey Moskalenko's grandmother says that the family of four went to the Winter Cherry shopping mall on Sunday to buy a hat. The children persuaded their mother and father to go to the play area, where the rapidly-spreading fire started.

It is unclear how Moskalenko became separated from the adults, but the smartphone video shot from several points on the ground shows a boy climbing out of a window from which thick black smoke pours out. He pauses momentarily, then his hands let go of the ledge.

On the way down, he hits a mounted lamp, which upends him, before he lands stomach first onto the edge of the entrance awning, and falls to the ground to piercing screams from onlookers.

What the media won't tell you about Cambridge Analytica

make facebook great again

Make Facebook Great Again
Just over a year ago I wrote, "Did Donald Trump Use Artificial Intelligence To Win The Election?", which was an article about Cambridge Analytica.

If you haven't been paying attention lately, Facebook just banned Cambridge Analytica from their platform, including the whistleblower that blew the whistle on how Cambridge Analytica was potentially misusing data. Meanwhile, the mainstream media has gone into a frenzy, crashing Facebook's stock, forcing executives out of the company, and calling for social media reform.

This story is seriously a year old, and although I was not the first journalist to write about this, I did bring it to the attention of about 6,300+ readers. While it is new that we have a whistleblower, and the number "50 million accounts", what the media isn't telling you is how Cambridge Analytica actually pulled this off.

The fact of the matter is the data that Cambridge Analytica acquired from Facebook, much of which they obtained legally and as Facebook intended them to, was entirely useless without machine learning. Machine learning is one of the baby steps required for building artificial intelligence, it is a field of computer science that gives computer systems the ability to "learn" with data without being programmed by a person. It was this technology that Cambridge Analytica used to analyze tens of millions of users profiles using data they acquired from Facebook, and put together psychological profiles of users. They then used Facebook's targeted advertising system to display ads and content at those users geared towards their own psychological profile. Think of it as persuasive arguing on steroids hyper-targeted by your own beliefs about the world.

Comment: Interesting info, but the influence of CA is way overstated. That's part of the reason they're banging on about this: to make people believe that external factors rigged the election. People didn't vote for Killary because she's the spawn of Satan, not because they were induced to do so by bots, Russian or otherwise. See also:

Rebel Prince includes the claim that Prince Charles 'screamed' at David Cameron after it was suggested that control of London's royal parks would be handed to the Greater London Authority.

Comment: While this article probably does provide some insight into Prince Charles and the Royals generally, there are other more pressing matters that involve them:

Trump and Juncker attacked online for congratulating Putin

Just when you thought Russophobia in the west couldn't become any more unhinged, it just did.

Two leading political figures, the EU President Jean-Claude Juncker, and US President Donald Trump, have come under fierce attack from anti-Russian politicians and the media this week, for the 'crime' of following diplomatic protocol and congratulating Russia's President Putin on his re-election.

Comment: With Russia leading the way to a better world it seems the masks of the psychopaths running the US and UK have slipped and their authoritarian followers are lost to hysteria:

BBC accused of passing over stories regarding Facebook, Cambridge Analytica scandal

The BBC has been accused of dropping stories which are linked with the Facebook Cambridge Analytica scandal. The broadcaster is facing questions over why its Panorama show allegedly dropped plans to run stories on the issue.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has apologised for the social media platform allowing Cambridge Analtyica to access its users' personal data. The political consulting firm reportedly obtained data through a program designed by an ex-employee, Cambridge University researcher Aleksandr Kogan.

Billions were wiped off the stock share price in the wake of the revelations and news sites rushed to cover the rapidly-unfolding story. However, BBC show Panorama has been accused of killing the story by Guardian and Observer journalist Carole Cadwalladr.

The second story being referred to by the British newspaper journalist is the scandal involving the Vote Leave team in the British referendum on European Union (EU) membership. Cadwalladr, whose breaking of the Cambridge Analytica-Facebook story has prompted legal action against the Observer, said the BBC was refusing to report the details of a Google Drive account which was set up between Vote Leave and BeLeave.

South Africa: White farmers at risk of genocide after land redistribution legislation

People attacking South African farmers are "subhuman," according to Australia's Queensland Senator Fraser Anning, who has described recent events there as "the start of genocide."

The former member of One Nation, a right-wing populist party in Australia, Anning talked to supporters of South African white farmers outside Queensland's parliament in Brisbane on Sunday.
"This is the start of genocide as far as I'm concerned, and it's only going to get worse because the genocide has just started," he said. "Anyone who would boil a child in a bath, rape his mother and slaughter people the way they are slaughtering them now are subhuman."
The senator also cast doubt on the ability of black South Africans to work the land.
"These people, when they do take over the farms, as we've seen in Rhodesia [Zimbabwe], the farms will run into ruin," he said. "Within a few more years, they'll be asking, demanding our support and you can be sure that the United Nations will be demanding that we support these people with foreign aid."
Anning has backed Australian politician Peter Dutton's proposal to grant the farmers refugee status.

Comment: The white population in S.A. is around 9%, but own most of the land.

Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow will host matches of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Iceland has announced it will be boycotting the World Cup this summer. It comes after the US and EU countries announced the expulsion of diplomats over the Sergei Skripal poisoning case.

Iceland also said it is temporarily suspending its bilateral contacts with Russia at the highest level. Reykjavik had summoned the Russian Ambassador earlier on Monday and informed him of the measures implemented.

"All of Iceland's closest allies and partners have decided to take measures against Russia in the wake of the Salisbury attack, including the Nordic countries, most member states of NATO as well as several EU nations,"the statement, published on the website of Iceland's government, reads.

After Bill Maher repeats a "lie" about Dana Loesch and her past, Loesch hit back with the truth.
HBO "Real Time" host Bill Maher repeated a "lie" about Dana Loesch on his show Friday night, lashing out at her and other conservatives who dislike Hollywood.

Now Loesch is firing back.

What did Maher say?

Maher took aim at conservatives from Hollywood or those associated with Hollywood, such as Scott Baio, James Woods, Pat Sajak, President Donald Trump, among others. He also mocked Stacey Dash and Trump's inauguration last year for having the band "3 Doors Down" perform while former President Barack Obama had superstars, such as Beyoncé and Stevie Wonder, perform at his.

Then Maher set his sights on Loesch.
