Toledo, Ohio: cop holds entire family on the ground using taser

A bizarre scene was recorded in Toledo involving an officer aiming his Taser at an entire family, including a boy, as they were forced to lay in the middle of the street. According to witnesses, the aggressive encounter originated when a man questioned the way an officer was handling a license plate citation for his neighbor. The man who spoke up, and his entire family, were ripped from their vehicle and threatened with a taser.

After doing what he thought was the responsible thing, a man napping by the side of the road found himself being savagely beaten by police and almost drowned in the surf. He is now suing the city, as well as two officers involved in the incident, in federal court.

Reginald Deon Davis, 34, was returning to his home in La Marque after a friend's birthday party early in the morning of March 19th when he decided that he was too exhausted to drive any further. Pulling his car over to the seawall, Davis let his wife know he would be late coming home and dozed off. Unfortunately for Davis, it is against city ordinance to sleep in a car without a camping permit. Around 1:45AM, Officer Jose Santos, one of the officers named in the lawsuit, found Davis sleeping and asked him to get out of his vehicle.

A man says that within hours of making an impassioned post on Facebook, he was being interrogated by police and the FBI.

Blaine Cooper, 33, contacted policestateusa.com with a concerning story about how his sentiments posted on Facebook had drawn the attention of the federal government. He showed me the comment and told me that within 24-hours of posting it, he was being contacted by the police and FBI.

His colorful comment was in reference to what he believes is an "American Police State," in which the power of the federal government is growing in a direction which may one day lead people to fight back.

Cooper, who is training to be a wild land fire fighter, said that on August 23, he was contacted by Officer Jason Kuafman of the Prescott Valley Police Department and was told that he needed to come to the police station for an interview with the FBI.

UK minister tells survivor of alleged child abuse: 'Adjust your medication'

Eric Pickles

Eric Pickles has been criticised for furthering mental health prejudices after he told a survivor of alleged child abuse to "adjust your medication" when she accused him of ignoring her.

The Communities and Local Government minister made the comment in a recorded confrontation with constituent Teresa Cooper earlier this month. Ms Cooper was one of at least six women who say they were drugged as teenagers at the Kendall House care home, Kent, in the late 1970s and early 1980s, whose children now have genetic defects.

Confronting Mr Pickles, who is her constituency MP, she said: "Nothing has changed on the Kendall House abuse. Only you have ignored it. You have ignored it." Pickles then interjected, shouting: "just, just, adjust your medication".

The two met while at a wildlife event in Ongar, Essex, on 14 September and Ms Cooper recorded the conversation. Ms Cooper, 46, said: "I was shocked to be honest. He's implying I'm mentally ill which is really rude of him because people do have mental health problems and they should not be spoken to that way."

She added: "The Conservatives say 'we need to change attitudes about mental health' but clearly they need to start with Eric Pickles."

Paul Farmer, chief executive of the mental health charity Mind, said: "It is disappointing that a minister would use language that can feed the prejudice around mental health. We would encourage everyone to really consider the impact of using mental health language in a way that could contribute to fuelling stigma."

UK van driver's horror after three-foot snake appears on dashboard as he travelled at 60mph

The driver and his passenger were forced to pull onto the hard shoulder of the M6 near Wigan after the red and black cornsake revealed itself

This is the three foot snake which crawled across a van driver's dashboard as he drove at 60mph on a motorway at night.

A horrified front seat passenger sparked a 999 alert after he watched the snake slither inches above the driver's hands on the steering wheel.

The passenger phoned police and yelled: "Pull over - now."

Amazingly, the unnamed driver in his fifties, did not see the snake until he stopped on the hard shoulder of the M6 motorway near Wigan at 2am.

The two men fled the white box van until police officers arrived at the scene with two motorway traffic officers and an RSPCA inspector.

Man shoots neighbor for 'telepathically raping' his wife

Centerville, Utah resident Meloney Selleneit, 55, plead guilty to charges in connection with ordering her husband, Michael Selleneit, 55, to shoot their next door neighbor for 'telepathically raping' her.

Tony Pierce, the Selleneit's neighbor, was gardening in his backyard when he was attacked, unprovoked, by Michael Salleneit who shot Pierce in the back twice with a handgun. After shooting Pierce, witnesses say, Selleneit calmly walked back to his trailer. Pierce was able to receive medical attention and lived through the attack.

Michael Selleneit believed Pierce had been 'telepathically raping' his wife for years, and was using crack cocaine to control her mind. The couple discussed the shooting before it happened, and the arrest warrant states Meloney Selleneit told her husband to, "go for it." She also stated to police she was 'unsure' if her husband would actually go through with the attack, but did not believe he would have without her encouragement.

The shooting originally took place Nov 10, 2011, and for nearly two years Meloney Selleneit has been in a state mental hospital receiving care for various mental illnesses including schizophrenia. She had been previously found unfit to stand trial but the presiding judge, Thomas Kay, reversed his decision in Aug. 2013. Meloney Selleneit plead guilty Sept. 19, 2013 to illegally possessing a weapon, and criminal solicitation.

Most Americans think the government is doing more to help the rich at the expense of the poor and middle class, according to a new HuffPost/YouGov poll.

According to the survey, 53 percent of Americans think the government does the most to help the rich, while 18 percent think it does most to help the poor, and 8 percent say the middle class.

That puts Americans' perceptions of what the government actually does wildly at odds with what they think it should do. Forty-nine percent of respondents said they think the government should do most to help the middle class, while 36 percent said it should do most to help the poor. Only 2 percent said that the government should do most to help the rich.

The poll found some partisan division on what the government should be doing. Sixty-six percent of Republicans and 50 percent of independents said the government should do most to help the middle class, while 57 percent of Democrats said they wanted it to do most to help the poor. No more than 3 percent from any party group said the government should do most to help the rich.

Vladimir Putin's many feats of strength

Russia's leader, Vladimir Putin, has captained a mini-sub in the Gulf of Finland and used a motorized hang-glider to lead captive Siberian cranes to freedom. The stunts weren't unusual for a man accustomed to public displays of avocational skill. Here are a few of his many talents.

1. He's an arm-wrestler

Putin quickly defeated Rep. Dana Rohrbacher in a drunken match in Washington in the early 1990s, the California member of Congress said in September. ''His muscles are just unbelievable," Rohrbacher said. Pictured: Putin pumping his guns in an arm-wrestling contest during a visit at a summer camp in the central Tver region on Aug. 1, 2011. Flashback 41 U.S. counter-terrorism and intelligence agency veterans challenge the official account of 9/11

Image
The Pentagon after the collapse of the impacted wall.
Following in the footsteps of well over 1,000 scientists and other professional groups who have already gone on record questioning the official theory, more than 40 U.S. Counter-Terrorism and Intelligence Agency veterans have come forward to challenge the Government's rendition of the September 11, 2001 attacks. Their behind-the-scenes knowledge and experience of sensitive and classified issues places them in a uniquely authoritative position. In this sense, their critical stance is all the more damning for the government. Conspicuously absent from the landscape are the mainstream media professionals, as they continue to provide cover for the government's totally bankrupt theory and fail to report on landmark developments such as this.

Official Account of 9/11:"Terribly Flawed," "Laced with Contradictions," "a Joke," "a Cover-up"

More than 40 U.S. Counter-Terrorism and Intelligence Agency veterans have severely criticized the official account of 9/11 and most have called for a new investigation. It is outrageous that most Americans are entirely unaware of their publicly stated concerns - a direct result of the refusal of national print and broadcast news organizations to cover this extremely important issue. There is no denying the credibility of these individuals or their loyalty to their country as demonstrated by their years of service collecting and analyzing information and planning and carrying out operations critical to the national security of the United States.
