German pharmaceutical giant Bayer is considering making a bid to buy American agrochemical company Monsanto, Bloomberg reports. With Monsanto's $40 billion market cap, the combined enterprise would become the largest supplier of farm chemicals and seeds.

The deal is likely to raise many questions from competitors and authorities.

"Trying to do this merger is like going sailing in a tsunami. This is going to raise real significant concerns at the Justice Department," a former departmental lawyer who has worked on behalf of farmers, David Balto, told the Financial Times.

The possible merger comes after Monsanto failed to acquire its rival, Switzerland's Syngenta for about $46.2 billion last August. Syngenta was bought by ChemChina for reported $44 billion.

How Dark Will Our Future Be?

There's every reason to suspect that the powers-that-be are writing us out of it.

There are more dark projects and secret research grants than anyone can keep track of, but this list is a good start - and an indicator of how serious they are about control.

From robots to artificial intelligence and software to read your mind, the Pentagon and its Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) have ways of reducing the population to little more than automatons and prisoners in a high-tech worldwide control grid.

Comment: Mind control projects are alive and well.

Woops! Philly cops caught trying to disguise spy vehicle as a Google Maps car

fake google spy truck
© Dustin SlaughterThe vehicle in question.
The Philadelphia Police Department admitted today that a mysterious unmarked license plate surveillance truck disguised as a Google Maps vehicle, which Motherboard first reported on this morning, is its own.

In an emailed statement, a department spokesperson confirmed:

"We have been informed that this unmarked vehicle belongs to the police department; however, the placing of any particular decal on the vehicle was not approved through any chain of command. With that being said, once this was brought to our attention, it was ordered that the decals be removed immediately."

Comment: Police surveillance is no secret. Several departments across the country make it a regular part of their operations. This is a police state, after all.

Significant majority of emigrating Ukrainians seek shelter in so-called aggressor Russia

ukraine emigration
Ukraine is becoming a state with a high level of emigration. Political analysts and experts warn that more of the so-called "reform" of the Ukrainian authorities will lead to the fact that in the near future the majority of able-bodied Ukrainians will simply be superfluous in their own country and be forced to leave Ukraine.

Now the Ukrainians are leaving "Independance" en masse. And, significantly, the majority of Ukrainian migrants prefer to move to the so-called "aggressor-country". Apparently, the current "European" standard of living in Ukraine leaves no hope for improvement, and that's why many Ukrainians are forced to leave their homes and settled way of life, and whole families to seek shelter in neighboring Russia. Moreover, the majority of Ukrainians have close family ties with Russians. And how would the Kiev spin doctors try to create the appearance of the enemy in Russia, and as if the Ukrainian authorities did not climb out of their skin trying to intimidate people to not resist false propaganda.

Yesterday, the special report by independent experts of the International Sociological Association (IAS) highlighted a disappointing fact for Kiev: every fifth citizen of Ukraine is seriously thinking about emigrating to Russia, and one-third expects to receive a residence permit and the right to work in Russia. Besides, according to international research, one-third of graduates of Ukrainian schools intend to continue their education not in local universities and not even in Sorbonne or Oxford, but at Moscow State University, MGIMO, MIPT, and many more, for example, Rostov, or Novosibirsk state universities.

According to some reports, the intelligence services of Ukraine have already been instructed to track this trend and to create a so-called "lists of potential traitors".

Star of David

Zionism fosters and then feeds upon the anti-semitism it creates

anti-Semitism
Zionism is very much a mirror image of anti-Semitism. It was founded and based on an assumption that assimilation is bound to fail, and that the Jews must resort to other measures in order to protect their existence - as persons, but perhaps even more significantly - as a supposed nation. David Ben-Gurion's words to the Mapai committee in 1938 reveal how the national aspect could supersede the humanitarian concern to actual people: "If I knew that it was possible to save all the children of Germany by transporting them to England, and only half by transferring them to the Land of Israel, I would choose the latter, for before us lies not only the numbers of these children but the historical reckoning of the people of Israel." In that same year he spoke to the Jewish Agency in regards to the Évian conference which sought to facilitate the plight of Jewish refugees, saying, "[I do] not know if the conference will open the gates of other countries. . . . But I am afraid [ it ] might cause tremendous harm to Eretz Yisrael and Zionism. . . . and the more we emphasize the terrible distress of the Jewish masses in Germany, Poland and Rumania, the more damage we shall cause" — to Zionism and Eretz Israel by promoting emigration to western countries. [Both quotes at this link].

That is to say, that the priority of nationalism (as opposed to personal security) was extremely high in Zionism from the outset. Zionism sought to forge a sense of 'nationhood' for a people that were of a vast spectrum of ethnicity, language, even religion (from ultra-orthodox to atheist) and claim that they were one. The British (and notably Jewish) Secretary of State for India Edwin Montagu, in his critique of Her Majesty's Government's intentions to endorse a 'Jewish national home" in Palestine in 1917, said: "I assert that there is not a Jewish nation. The members of my family, for instance, who have been in this country for generations, have no sort or kind of community of view or of desire with any Jewish family in any other country beyond the fact that they profess to a greater or less degree the same religion. It is no more true to say that a Jewish Englishman and a Jewish Moor are of the same nation than it is to say that a Christian Englishman and a Christian Frenchman are of the same nation: of the same race, perhaps, traced back through the centuries - through centuries of the history of a peculiarly adaptable race".

French railway workers planning continuous strikes amid EU push to erode working conditions

railway strikes france
© Benoit Tessier / Reuters French CGT railway workers hold light flares as they attend a demonstration against the French labour law proposal in Paris, France, as part of a nationwide labor reform protests and strikes, March 31, 2016.
French railway services are facing major and continuous disruptions after a major union announced weekly two day strikes starting from next Wednesday. Railway workers are battling for their rights amid EU push for more competition in this sector across France.

"We have filed an advanced notice that is unlimited and renewable, for 48 hours each week over Wednesdays and Thursdays," a General Confederation of Labor (CGT) spokesperson said.

The country's third largest union, the SUD-rail union, has also called for an indefinite strike from Wednesday, May 18.

Rail transport in France is mostly operated by SNCF, and the latest announcement of the strike will certainly affect the national railway system. The new walkouts will follow similar strikes that have taken place on three occasions since March, paralyzing commutes. Last time the strikes were backed by all four unions: the UNSA (National Union of Autonomous Unions), CGT, Solidaires Unitaires Democratiques (SUD) and French Democratic Confederation of Labor (CFDT).

Inhumane corporate slavery: Booming poultry industry forces thousands of workers to urinate, defecate on the job, wear diapers

The poultry business is booming, but thousands of workers suffer inhumane treatment at processing plants, a shocking report says. Some of them, mocked and threatened, are forced to wear diapers or beg for bathroom breaks out of fear of losing their jobs.

The report, No Relief: Denial of Bathroom Breaks in the Poultry Industry is based on scores of interviews with poultry workers across the US, conducted between 2013 and 2016. It unveils brutal details and life-threatening conditions that hundreds of thousands of employees face every day.

"Workers struggle to cope with this denial of a basic human need. They urinate and defecate while standing on the line; they wear diapers to work; they restrict intake of liquids and fluids to dangerous degrees; they endure pain and discomfort while they worry about their health and job security. And it's not just their dignity that suffers: they are in danger of serious health problems," Oxfam America, the group that prepared the report, wrote.

Oxfam America has been struggling to draw attention to labor issues in the growing US poultry industry. Their research is part of a campaign launched in October last year to advocate for improved conditions for poultry workers.

According to the US Poultry & Egg Association, the value of broiler chicken production alone showed a six percent growth in 2014, bringing in $32.7 billion to the industry. During the same year, 188 million chickens were sold for $96.6 million, marking a growth of 10 percent.

Kenya's government announced Friday that it was being "forced by circumstances to reconsider the whole issue of hosting refugees," which is a huge deal because the country hosts more than 600,000 of them.

And even though the Kenyan government has threatened to shut down its two largest refugee camps, Dadaab and Kakuma, twice before, they have taken the additional step this time of "disbanding" their Department of Refugee Affairs so as to close the camps in "the shortest time possible."

U.S.-backed "not terrorist" group Ahrar al-Sham commits massacre in Zarah, slaughters women and children

zarah
May 12, 2016 - Members of Ahrar al-Sham above their handiwork in Zahraa. "Not terrorists". Protected by the U.S., UK and France.
The terrorists of al-Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham launched heavy attacks against the Syrian forces in the Southern parts of Hama province, occupied the town of Zara and killed most of its residents.

Facing the surprise offensive, the Syrian troops were forced to withdraw from Zara towards Hor Benafseh town.

The sources affiliated to the terrorists confirmed occupation of Zara, and local sources said that a number of families, including women and children, residing in the small town were massacred by the militants and others were held captive.

Zara hosts a power plant which supplies electricity to the adjacent provinces.

Ahrar al-Sham terrorist group had two months ago attacked the town with missiles and destroyed a part of the power plant which led to power cuts in the nearby provinces.

The developments came after the Syrian fighter jets and choppers continued bombing bases and gatherings of al-Nusra Front in the Northern part of Hama province on Wednesday, pinning down the militants behind their positions with the lowest military movements possible.

Al-Nusra Front's concentration centers and bases in Morek, al-Lataminah and al-Madhiq Fort came under the heavy fire of the Syrian warplanes and military helicopters.
