Schools should prep students for 'natural disasters and war', says Germany's education minister

Germany's education minister said students should be taught what to do in the case of wars, natural catastrophes or pandemics. She also said it was important they know how the army contributes to Germany's security.

Students in Germany must be better prepared to face all kinds of potential crises and catastrophes, German Education Minister Bettina Stark-Watzinger said.

A member of the business-focused Free Democrats (FDP), she stressed the importance of civil defense in comments to the Funke Media Group of local and regional newspapers on Saturday.

Comment: Indeed they are valuable skills, but is it a coincidence that, just as Germany involves itself in yet another genocide, and yet another immoral war against Russia, that this is now a priority?

Perhaps German politicians should concern themselves with taking a few history lessons, first?

Evidence of foreign nationals accessing dominion voting machines leaked to public

'The remote access by these foreign nationals occurred while the states were still counting votes, determining a final tally, and prior to certification of the results...'

A defamation lawsuit between Dominion Voting Systems and former Overstock.com CEO and Donald Trump supporter Patrick Byrne has descended into chaos after one of Byrne's attorneys leaked evidence that foreign nationals remotely accessed voting machines used in Michigan in the 2020 elections.

The leaked evidence has been floating around social media for about the last week. The evidence includes emails between Dominion workers about voting machines being accessed remotely from people in Kosovo and elsewhere.

Comment: It seems the typical reaction to whistleblowers leaking information of criminal activity has the same predictable reaction: ignore the criminal evidence and focus all attention on the whistleblower and how what they did was wrong. It seems like such an obvious ploy, but apparently it's an effective way of glossing over the evidence released.

A total of 94 burglaries were attributed to residents of Chile, Ecuador, Columbia, and Peru in just one part of L.A. in 2023, according to LAPD officials.

Gangs of "burglary tourists" from South America are increasingly exploiting U.S. temporary visas that don't require background checks to fly into Los Angeles and rob mansions, then flee back to their home countries with the valuables, police officials in the Los Angeles Police Department said.

A total of 94 burglaries were attributed to residents of Chile, Ecuador, Columbia, and Peru in just one part of L.A. in 2023, according to LAPD officials.

Comment: As if the criminals pouring across the southern border weren't enough, now the US also has to contend with criminals on tourist Visas. The lawlessness in the US is truly reaching a fever pitch, and people in any part of the country are at risk.

Three outspoken evangelists of the mRNA clot shot have had their vaccine ministries come to sudden and sad ends

stained glass needle
Dr. Vicky Jennings, a trauma surgeon in South Africa, used to post content online mocking people who questioned the safety of the mRNA injections.

For example, she posted a photo of herself encircled by the words:

Disinformation is Deadly
Vaccines Save Lives

Nice of her to weave a prime example of disinformation — "Vaccines Save Lives" — directly into her meme.

She even poked fun at the irrefutable reality of vaccine side-effects by saying that she was "waiting to grow my unicorn horn now" after submitting to the poison shot. Referring to the conspiracy theory that the injections contain self-assembling microchips, she added, "Bill Gates can start tracking my fascinating life."

Dr. Jennings, however, has stopped posting these public disservice announcements... because her "fascinating life" has come to a sudden end at the age of 43.

Economic earthquake ahead? The cracks are spreading fast

earthquake
One of my favorite false narratives floating around corporate media platforms has been the argument that the American people "just don't seem to understand how good the economy really is right now." If only they would look at the stats, they would realize that we are in the middle of a financial renaissance, right? It must be that people have been brainwashed by negative press from conservative sources...

I have to laugh at this notion because it's a very common one throughout history - it's an assertion made by almost every single political regime right before a major collapse. These people always say the same things, and when you study economics as long as I have you can't help but throw up your hands and marvel at their dedication to the propaganda.

One example that comes to mind immediately is the delusional optimism of the "roaring" 1920s and the lead up to the Great Depression. At the time around 60% of the U.S. population was living in poverty conditions (according to the metrics of the decade) earning less than $2000 a year. However, in the years after WWI ravaged Europe, America's economic power was considered unrivaled.

What is happening in Haiti could happen in the US

Haiti fire
The kind of rampant civil unrest that has thrown Haiti into turmoil will happen in the United States and other wealthy western nations too. At this point, it is just a matter of time. Here in the United States, we have been adding millions upon millions of extremely desperate people on top of the millions upon millions of extremely desperate people that we already had. Politicians in major cities such as New York and Chicago openly admit that they can't possibly take any more migrants because the social services available for them have been completely overwhelmed, but more migrants just keep coming anyway. We are creating an extremely explosive environment, and the pressure that is coming in 2024 and beyond could push things over the edge.

If you want an idea of what is coming, just look at what is happening in Haiti right now. Following years of disastrous policies, the entire nation has descended into a state of chaos...

War on Gaza: Israel's leftists quickly lost their compassion for Palestinians

Liberal Israeli sympathy for Palestinians was based on the colonial mindset that the subjugated are inferior and should be grateful for their support

The Hamas attack of 7 October and the war that Israel launched thereafter introduced a new conceptual category of persons to the Hebrew-Israeli vocabulary: the "disillusioned" - meaning, the folks who have now "sobered up".

These people insist that, until 7 October, they were humanistic seekers of peace for whom the Hamas attack changed everything: in its wake, they moulted their former selves and now passionately supported the genocide that Israel is perpetrating in Gaza.

For more than five months, they have continued to flog one another for the sin of their earlier left-wing innocence. After suitable ritual absolution, they enter into the bosom of the tribe and are showered with forgiveness in the name of the people and the nation.

Republicans going all out to ban diversity, equity, inclusion mandates in medical schools

GOP lawmakers proposed legislation Tuesday banning race-based mandates at medical schools and accrediting institutions.

The Embracing anti-Discrimination, Unbiased Curricula, and Advancing Truth in Education Act was introduced by North Carolina Rep. Greg Murphy, a urologist who is the only actively practicing physician in Congress.

"American medical schools are the best in the world and no place for discrimination," said Mr. Murphy. The EDUCATE Act compels medical schools and accrediting agencies to uphold colorblind admissions processes and prohibits the coercion of students who hold certain political opinions.

Comment: The bill can't be passed too soon. Plus the schools themselves need to be purged of the pernicious doctrine of DEI. It produces dangerous nonsense like this: Some are fighting back:

Houthi pressure on behalf of Gaza working: Red Sea attacks halve Suez Canal trade

The trade volume is being diverted from Suez to route around South Africa's Cape of Good Hope, the International Monetary Fund reports

The Suez and Panama Canals have seen drops in trade of 50% and 32% respectively during January and February, compared with the same months in 2023, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is reporting.

According to the fund's information, transit trade fell in the first two months of 2024 due to Houthi attacks in the Red Sea and to drought affecting the Panama Canal.

Comment: Who will have more clout in this situation? The politicians beholden to Israel, or the businesses that keep governments in power?

Mistakes were made: Germany's lame propagandistic mea culpa over Covid Totalitarianism

Nuremberg trials
Make fun of the Germans all you want, and I've certainly done that a bit during these past few years, but, if there's one thing they're exceptionally good at, it's taking responsibility for their mistakes. Seriously, when it comes to acknowledging one's mistakes, and not rationalizing, or minimizing, or attempting to deny them, and any discomfort they may have allegedly caused, no one does it quite like the Germans.

Take this Covid mess, for example. Just last week, the German authorities confessed that they made a few minor mistakes during their management of the "Covid pandemic." According to Karl Lauterbach, the Minister of Health, "we were sometimes too strict with the children and probably started easing the restrictions a little too late." Horst Seehofer, the former Interior Minister, admitted that he would no longer agree to some of the Covid restrictions today, for example, nationwide nighttime curfews. "One must be very careful with calls for compulsory vaccination," he added. Helge Braun, Head of the Chancellery and Minister for Special Affairs under Merkel, agreed that there had been "misjudgments," for example, "overestimating the effectiveness of the vaccines."
