Banned from the BBC: What happened in 1978 when Johnny Rotten told the truth about Jimmy Savile in an interview

Image
Jimmy Savile: The pedophile that the BBC, UK government and Royalty aided and abetted.
Although the mainstream media didn't recognize the crimes committed by Jimmy Savile until after his death, there were many instances throughout his career where he was accused or implicated in child abuse cases.

In most cases, he was able to avoid a whole lot of legal trouble and public scrutiny due to his media celebrity and his close ties to the power of the royal family.

The fallout from the Jimmy Savile case has probably just begun, but the backlash has already been considerable for anyone who has dared to speak out on the issue, with some people at the BBC even losing their jobs.

Comment: Another example of how the media is so complicit in covering up the high crimes of anyone who is a part of, or favored by, the Elite.

UK cops siphon millions by blackmailing motorists into taking speed awareness courses

speed trap
The number of motorists attending speed awareness courses in the U.K. has almost tripled since 2010, prompting allegations that police forces are pocketing millions from motorists attending classes.

Details of the profit-motivated industry doubling its profits from courses emerged after Bedfordshire Police & Crime Commissioner Olly Martin announced new revenue-generating proposals.

The senior policeman, who is frequently vocal about his department's budget shortfall, wants speed cameras across stretches of the motorway network switched on permanently. He is also calling for all drivers caught traveling at over 70 miles per hour to be fined.

Portents? Young Baby boomers' death rate on the rise

A large segment of white middle-aged Americans has suffered a startling rise in its death rate since 1999, according to a review of statistics published Monday that shows a sharp reversal in decades of progress toward longer lives.

The mortality rate for white men and women ages 45-54 with less than a college education increased markedly between 1999 and 2013, most likely because of problems with legal and illegal drugs, alcohol and suicide, the researchers concluded. Before then, death rates for that group dropped steadily, and at a faster pace.

An increase in the mortality rate for any large demographic group in an advanced nation has been virtually unheard of in recent decades, with the exception of Russian men after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Doctors Without Borders releases horrific report of what happened during the US military bombing of its hospital in Kunduz

Doctors Without Borders released an internal review of what happened before, during, and after its hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan was bombed by U.S. military forces on October 3.

The review highlights how the U.S. violated the neutrality of the facility, which the U.S. had agreed to respect. It also demonstrates there were no "armed combatants" in the hospital and no fighting in the "direct vicinity" at the time of the airstrikes. It also significantly calls into question statements by anonymous officials or military operatives, which have been made to the press.

The aid group followed a "no weapons" policy, which had been implemented at the hospital, and staff remained in full control of the medical facility, according to the review. GPS coordinates were also provided to Kabul and New York, and the U.S. Defense Department and Afghan Ministry of Interior, as well as the U.S. Army in Kabul, were made aware of the location of the hospital.

Dr. Joanne Liu, the president of Doctors Without Borders International or MSF International, said even though the internal review [PDF] was an ongoing process, the organization had made the decision to share details to "counter speculation" and to be "transparent."
"What we know is that we were running a hospital treating patients, including wounded combatants from both sides—this was not a 'Taliban base,'" Liu declared. "The question remains as to whether our hospital lost its protected status in the eyes of the military forces engaged in this attack—and if so, why. The answer does not lie within the MSF hospital. Those responsible for requesting, ordering and approving the airstrikes hold these answers."

Comment: As should be clear by now, this was no accidental attack on the Doctors Without Borders hospital. The psychopaths in charge appear to be disintegrating into madness, driven by an insatiable urge to destroy, and unable to foresee the consequences.

How do you form a reliable community when the SHTF?

Image
No man is an island, but who to trust and form a community with is another story.
First off let me start by saying that reading your blog has been a very refreshing change of pace. Often most blogs on survivalism also come with crazy white supremacist or anti-government rhetoric, theres also a lot of what I like to call "lone rangers" building bunkers, stockpiling ammo, food, water...

And these things are very advisable but one thing I see them doing is isolating themselves from neighbours who might actually be helpful to be on good terms with.

I am from rural Montana and for some reason this region attracts a very large number of anti-social bunker dwellers and militia types who I feel quite frankly arent just preparing for disaster, but are praying for one.

I am a marine infantryman and have spent considerable time in war zones, disaster areas, and places where mob-rule, drug lords, or organized crime are the closest thing to law that people have. This idea of the rugged individual standing atop a pile of MREs and ammo in a heroic last stand seems to be a distinctively american one.

Comment: Of course all of this presumes that YOU can be the person to be relied upon as well. A question we must all put into practice by actually BEing and acting like the person you'd want to have at your back if you were in need.

Homeless not finding aloha in Hawaii

homeless in hawaii
© Wayne Yoshioka/Hawai‘i Public RadioHonolulu city workers dismantle an abandoned tent during a sweep of one of the state’s largest homeless encampments.
Two days before the city planned to dismantle her sidewalk home, Kionina Kaneso had no idea where she and her daughter and grandchildren would sleep.

A full-time fast-food worker, Kaneso had bad experiences at shelters before and was hesitant to live in another, ending up instead in one of the nation's largest homeless encampments for two years. Desperate, she decided to try to get into a shelter.

Kaneso, a daughter and granddaughter made the long walk to one from their camp in a neighborhood between downtown Honolulu's high-rises, the swaying palm trees of a beachfront park and the glittering tourist mecca of Waikiki.

A shelter worker helped several people from the camp find a spot inside to live.

She wasn't as lucky: There was no more space for families.

"Where can I go?" Kaneso asked.

Homelessness in Hawaii has grown in recent years, leaving the state with 487 homeless per 100,000 people, the nation's highest rate per capita, ahead of New York and Nevada, according to federal statistics.

Anti-fascist protesters clash with police in Bologna, Italy

Image

Leftist demonstrators clashed with police in Bologna as they protested a meeting of the right-wing Northern League party leader with former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, held in the Italian city. The protesters used wooden sticks to attack the police, with the security forces using riot shields and batons to push back the angry crowd back.

At least one officer was injured during the Sunday's clashes, Reuters reported, citing the Italian media. A police force of 600 was deployed in Bologna to separate the Northern League rally and the leftist counter-protest, in which hundreds took part, according to Bologna Today. Various leftist groups in Bologna decry the Northern League's views on immigration, saying that they are fascists, who are not welcome in their city.

Overnight unknown perpetrators set fire to railway cables, which caused the shutdown of the key Bologna-Milan railtrack for several hours. The saboteurs left an anti-fascist graffiti behind them, leading to suggestions that the move was aimed at preventing the right-wing supporters from arriving in Bologna.

Matteo Salvini, Northern League leader, was meeting with former PM Berlusconi to discuss a possible alliance capable of challenging the Democratic Party in the next election. The Northern League united several regional parties in 1991 to push for greater autonomy or even independence for Italy's northern regions.

Foaming at the mouth: Most Israelis support executing alleged 'terrorists' on the spot

A new poll shows more than a half of Jewish Israelis support extrajudicial killings of Palestinians.

A majority of Jewish Israelis said they support the statement that "any Palestinian who has perpetrated a terror attack against Jews should be killed on the spot, even if he has been apprehended and no longer poses a threat," a recent Peace Index poll by the Israel Democracy Institute shows.

Comment: Looks like the majority of the Israeli population is losing any sense of humanity they have, if they ever had any to begin with.

Out of control cops: 3 youths violently beaten and arrested by Texas police

austin police violently arrest people for jaywalking
© YoutubeProtecting citizens from dangerous jaywalkers
Three people were arrested by police in Austin after jaywalking in a violent incident that was caught on video Friday.

Comment: Only in a police state could jaywalking possibly be an arrest-able offense.

After the three spent the night in jail, two were released and had their charges dropped while the other remained detained.

Jeremy Kingg, one of the arrested men, told ATTN: news that the group had called out to police at about 2:30 a.m. because they did not know if they were allowed to cross. When police didn't respond, they crossed the street.

Comment: Warning: There is, quite understandably, a lot of swearing in the video below.

Comment: Even if these people were breaking the law by jaywalking, this response is totally unreasonable. These cops should be fired and charged with assault.
