According to the survey, conducted by the independent Russian public opinion research center Levada in late June and released on Thursday, 61 percent of Russian citizens feel Moscow must treat the collective West as a partner, while 16 percent see Western nations as competitors and five percent as enemies.
The proportion has changed significantly since January 2017 when 43 percent of Russians supported partner relations with the West, 31 percent saw the West as competitors and seven percent as enemies.
FIFA doesn't want broadcasters to cut away to attractive women in the stands during football matches
The world football governing body wants to get a more respectful image of female fans attending games as issues of sexual harassment during the World Cup were raised at FIFA media briefing on Wednesday.
FARE (Football Against Racism in Europe) network which works in close cooperation with FIFA and monitors fans behavior at World Cup games said it documented more than 30 cases of women being "accosted in the streets" during the month-long tournament in Russia.
Half of the reported incidents included female broadcasters being harassed while on air.
Comment: The feminist ideology is infecting every public area it seems. Pretty soon Hollywood will have to stop hiring only attractive actors because it encourages sexism. We must remove all attractive people from the world lest we all turn into uncontrollable sexists!!
State police stationed at Gerardo Sosa Olachea's house in Tecate, Mexico, spotted two drones circling around the state public security minister's residence on Tuesday morning. One of the drones then fell on the terrace.
Once the officers rushed to the unmanned aerial vehicle they discovered two grenades duct-taped to it. The drone was also equipped with an audio and video system.
Legislation introduced by Rep. Diane Black, R-Tenn., Tuesday would make illegal entry into the U.S. a felony offense, something she said would act as a "disincentive" to people who are thinking of crossing the border.
"The United States government should never prioritize illegal immigrants over American citizens," Black said in a statement. "By no longer creating incentives to come to our country unlawfully, we also discourage families from sending their children on an often dangerous journey to reach our southern border."
A felony record would hinder an individual attempting to come into the U.S. legally as it would prevent that person from obtaining a green card, Black told Fox News.

Right-wing settler NGO Elad, also known as the City of David Foundation, celebrated a win last week when the Interior and Environment Committee of the Knesset, Israel's parliament, advanced a bill that would allow for the construction of Jewish settlement housing to be built inside areas zoned for national parks within municipal boundaries.
The bill, which was introduced last year, proposed that settlement construction be allowed inside the boundaries of archaeological national parks where a "neighborhood" had existed before the park was declared, referring to conglomerates of Jewish settlers living on Palestinian land.
We are led to be selective in our hate. Right and left's forces suddenly are summoned over and against each-other. They blame one-another over the topic at hand while all media write the same headlines as if controlled by an invisible conductor. The hypocrites. Both of them, and so are you are if you're blaming Trump solely because of these cages.
The immigration, "zero tolerance" problem is not a new one. It's been going on for a decade if not longer. Mostly leftist or centrist forces - as some, laughably, would like to refer to Obama's reign - are genuinely mad. In a way they are right of course. We should not live in a world where kids get separated from their parents while fleeing. We live in a globalized world for all these in charge so why fight the same rules when humans are involved and want to relocate on this planet?
In May 2015, Facebook prohibited third-party applications from collecting information about users' friends, but 61 companies - including Mail.ru - enjoyed continued access to this data for a limited time. Facebook acknowledged this in a new report submitted to the U.S. Senate, as part of an investigation launched after revelations that the British consulting firm Cambridge Analytica acquired and used personal data about millions of Facebook users.
Comment: So there's another nothingburger Cambridge Analytica type scandal on the horizon. If people don't know by now that they have absolutely no control over their data when using things like Facebook, Google, Amazon or whatever else, then they really haven't been paying attention. But the fact that this brewing scandal has a tentative connection to master arch-villain Putin himself makes it all the more tantalizing.

FBI insiders said more than 60 agents in D.C. alone have been nailed for taking gifts from the news media. Inspector General Michael Horowitz said earlier this week about 50 FBI agents took 300 free gifts from news media.
However, Horowitz failed to stipulate that number is ONLY in Washington D.C. which covers one field office and FBI headquarters. The Inspector General did not examine the FBI's other field offices, officials said. And the problem of taking free gifts for Intel is rampant, officials said.

Under the act, anyone "wearing a mask" or in disguise who "injures, oppresses, threatens, or intimidates any person ... in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege" would be subject to a fine or up to 15 years in prison.
The bill was introduced in the House last month but received renewed attention on Tuesday after alt-right personality Mike Cernovich encouraged his followers to call their representatives and "let them know what you think" about the legislation.
Comment: There are still a ways to go before the bill becomes law, if it even gets passed at all. In the meantime, one can expect more of Antifa to play their part in the coming midterm elections. See also:

Adult film actress Stormy Daniels -- shown here speaking outside a US federal court in New York with her lawyer Michael Avenatti in April -- was arrested at a strip club in Ohio.
In what her lawyer dubbed a "politically motivated" set-up, Daniels was arrested without incident at the Sirens club in Columbus, Ohio after officers accused her of knowingly touching club patrons "in a specified anatomical area."
According to an incident report published online by a local news outlet, two police detectives and an officer approached Daniels, who was topless and wearing a G-string, onstage after she was seen "using her bare breasts to smack the patrons" and "fondling the breasts of the female patrons."
Comment: While it's perhaps morally dubious, this sounds like pretty standard behavior in a strip club, whether it's illegal in Ohio or not. It seems likely that Avenatti is right about the arrest being politically motivated. There's no doubt the Trump team would like nothing more than for the Daniels debacle to disappear, regardless of how frivolous the whole thing is.
