Random act of federalism: DeSantis secures new antibody treatment from UK

In yet another random act of federalism from the Sunshine State, Gov. Ron DeSantis arranged a shipment of a new monoclonal antibody treatment for those suffering from COVID-19.

DeSantis announced on Thursday the shipment of 3,000 doses of the treatment, produced by the United Kingdom-based GlaxoSmithKline, following Biden's rationing of the Regeneron antibody treatment. Click the photo:

DeSantis commented:

"That's showing that we're going to leave no stone unturned. And, if there's somebody that needs a monoclonal antibody treatment, we're going to work hard to get it to them."

One dose of the drug costs approximately $2,100. However, the treatment is covered by the federal government.

Comment: DeSantis found a way to keep his promise to the people:

The Food and Drug Administration granted emergency authorization to the drug back in May.

Journalist who photographed border patrol agents on horseback debunks media and Biden's claims that Haitian migrants were 'whipped'

On Thursday, the photographer behind the images of Border Patrol agents on horseback set the record straight on what exactly those viral photos depict.

The photos, which were taken on Sunday, were mistakenly said to have depicted the agents on horseback with whips in their hands, causing outrage.

Photographer Paul Ratje, speaking with KTSM, said that he and his colleagues taking photos that day never saw any of the agents whipping the Haitian migrants they were moving.

"Some of the Haitian men started running, trying to go around the horses," Ratje said.

Ratje, who is a photographer based in Las Cruces, New Mexico, said he took the photographs from the Mexico side.

The Arizona Republic (TAR) newspaper and their website AZCentral are the most committed to disparaging the historic Arizona Senate audit. As a USA Today affiliate, they are owned by Gannett. GateHouse Media merged with Gannett in 2019, they now represent over 550 newspapers. TAR has dispatched a cabal of 15 journalists and photographers to cover the audit. Their articles are distributed to Yahoo News, MSN, USA Today affiliates, and other GateHouse rags. The negative audit coverage by TAR reporters has been rewarded with appearances on MSNBC, CNN, Rachel Maddow, Nicolle Wallace, etc.

Jen Fifield is the worst of all the audit reporters. Last September the Arizona Republic promoted her to cover elections for the very first time, for Maricopa. The newspaper's leadership has molded this young lady into a hammer looking for a nail, while absorbing all this paper's liberal groupthink.

Exactly. Fifield is no doubt a product of the corrupt schools of "journalism", steeped in critical race theory. She doesn't report facts, but is tasked with shaping a portion of the Deep State narrative.

We've seen some pretty pretentious school board actions over the last COVID-laced year and half.

Liberal, white "progressive" boards have jumped on the critical race theory bandwagon and spent thousands, even millions, of dollars on so-called "anti-racism" and "equity" trainings.

The board for Florida's Palm Beach County schools may take the cake, however.

Doug Logan began his presentation by providing an overview of the process his team took in performing their work related to the audit of the 2020 Election results of Maricopa County. Much of his team's work was done at the Maricopa County Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Logan next discussed the status of his work.

Ben Cotton shared the IT results from the audit of the 2020 Election Results in Maricopa County. During his presentation, he noted that files were deleted by those involved in the election the day before the machines were to be handed over to the audit team.

Cotton noted that his team was able to identify the time stamps for when the files were deleted and altered by Maricopa County officials.

The People's Bank of China said the currencies disrupted the financial system and were used in money-laundering and other crimes.

China's central bank has intensified its clampdown on cryptocurrencies by making all transactions in the virtual assets illegal, triggering a drop in the price of bitcoin on Friday.

The move signals the latest attempt to rein in cryptocurrency use in China, where regulators fear it might weaken the Communist party's control over the financial system and promote criminal activity.

In a notice issued on Friday, the People's Bank of China said bitcoin, ethereum and other digital currencies disrupted the financial system and were used in money-laundering and other crimes. "Virtual currency derivative transactions are all illegal financial activities and are strictly prohibited," the bank said on its website.

Comment: China has previously justified its ban on cryptos by saying that they "are not supported by real value", their prices are easily manipulated, and the contracts are not protected by Chinese law. Prior to the ban, China accounted for nearly 90% of the speculative market, which could conceivably have made the Chinese economy vulnerable to the fluctuations but also to financial attack.

'AI-driven community surveillance': US cops reportedly using invasive tool to grab suspects' social media, Pornhub & Tinder data

A number of US law enforcement agencies are reportedly using a shadowy AI surveillance program that trawls social media accounts, dating apps, online shopping wishlists and even Pornhub pages to help identify persons of interest.

The tool, known as SocialNet, maps out the networks of these individuals by harvesting data from over 120 different platforms, including Facebook and Instagram posts, Reddit, Tinder, YouTube, LinkedIn, Spotify, Paypal Amazon accounts and even the dark web, according to The Intercept.

The investigative news outlet has obtained documents showing how Michigan state police are leasing the software, developed by Wyoming-based cyber-intelligence firm ShadowDragon. In addition, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement has reportedly twice purchased a license for the program since 2019, while several Massachusetts police departments have also acquired it.

Oregon health officials now say that fully vaccinated people who are taking COVID-19 precautions can kiss — without wearing masks.

During the beginning of the pandemic, state health officials declared 'you' as your safest sex partner.

If you're vaccinated and looking for a smooch, now might be the time to visit Oregon.

The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) on Wednesday revised its position on safe-dating practices during the COVID-19 pandemic and now says it is OK to get intimate with your date--as long as you've both been vaccinated.

"If you're both vaccinated and taking COVID-19 precautions, intimacy is likely to be safe," OHA wrote on Facebook.

Newly released documents have revealed the extent of the CDC's role in the 2011 film, and how they milked the positive publicity. But they also beg the question why they weren't more prepared for a real pandemic, like Covid.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is one of the fastest-growing federal agencies of recent decades. In 1987, their budget was $590 million but by 2020 it had ballooned to over $8 billion, leading journalist Eric Boehm to observe, "If the agency had grown with inflation since 1987, it would have a budget of about $1.3 billion today. Total federal spending, meanwhile, has grown from a hair over $1 trillion in 1987 to $4.4 trillion last year — which means that the CDC's budget has grown faster [than] the government's overall spending."

A 2009 report by Senator Tom Coburn's office into questionable spending at the CDC found they had invested $1.7 million in setting up their own Hollywood liaison office, "to get health messages into television and film." Since then, the CDC have worked on documentary series including 'Breakthrough' and the BBC's 'Horizon', as well as episodes of the TV drama 'Cedar Cove' and the romantic comedy 'My Lockdown Romance'.

Comment: The CDC has morphed into a propaganda outlet (if they were ever anything else) sowing fear in order increase their Big Pharma buddy's bottom line. That they would reach out to Hollywood, purveyor of false idols and cultural propaganda is a match made in heaven.
