New York City's vaccine mandate began on Sept. 13. It requires proof of vaccination entry to certain public spaces, including gyms, restaurants, and bars, unless a person has an approved medical exemption.
New York officials call the program the "Key to NYC Pass."
Hawk Newsome, the co-founder and chairman of Black Lives Matter of Greater New York (BLMGNY), argues the mandates are fundamentally racist, given the low rate of vaccination in the black community.
"Oh, f*** them," Carlson bluntly told host Megan Kelly.
"The ADL was such a noble organization that had a very specific goal, which was to fight anti-Semitism. That's a virtuous goal. I think they were pretty successful over the years. Now it's operated by a guy who's ... just an apparatchik of the Democratic Party."The ADL has called for Carlson's firing over his comments about "great replacement" theory. The Fox host knocked the organization for weighing in on his comments at all, contending that "great replacement" is not a theory but mere language of the Democrat Party.

The more than 150,000 people working in the nation's largest school system were required to have had at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine by September 27. However, the mandate was blocked by a judge in the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals, who granted a temporary injunction on Friday evening, referring the case to a three-judge panel that will make a determination on its legality in the coming days.
The injunction was celebrated on social media by critics of mask and vaccine mandates, but city officials have made it clear that they believe the vaccination requirement will be retained, and "urged" those unvaccinated to get inoculated.
NYC Department of Education spokesperson Danielle Filson said, adding that she expected a resolution by next week:
"We're confident our vaccine mandate will continue to be upheld once all the facts have been presented, because that is the level of protection our students and staff deserve."According to Filson, approximately 82% of department employees are currently vaccinated.
Introduced by Democratic California State Assemblymember Luz Rivas, the bill replaces "alien" with terms such as "noncitizen" and "immigrant" throughout state law. The term "alien" was used in California since 1937 and by the federal government since at least 1798.
Newsom said in a statement:
"As the nation's most diverse state, we are stronger and more vibrant because of our immigrant communities. This important legislation removes the word 'alien,' which is not only an offensive term for a human being, but for far too long has fueled a divisive and hurtful narrative. By changing this term, we are ensuring California's laws reflect our state's values."
Comment: Biden's catch and release is working well for hoards of 'noncitizens':

Cody James holds a Homeland Security document a federal agent handed him after a DHS agent seized $27,600 from him at the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport on July 16, 2021.
It contained $27,600, cash.
James had checked flight rules before he took off and found no rule or law banning passengers from carrying large amounts of cash on domestic flights. Probably because, as we'll detail later, there is no law against it.

Ellen (Elliot) Page made a recent appearance at the Met Gala, seemingly fully transformed from her former identity of attractive female starlet into that of a mawkish boy-band tryout.
Page, 34, who is famous for appearing in such films as X-Men, Juno, and Inception as a woman, recently came out as transgender and now identifies as a man. This follows a gradual and all-too-predictable series of political revelations that Page has espoused over the years, following a not-uncommon pattern of woke social-justice acts, which seem only to be exemplified by the strains of celebrity life.

That last question comes to mind as we think about last weekend's Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, which were staged on a strictly two-tier basis: The Hollywood glitterati performers and guests did not wear masks, while the help did.
This tableau was apparently too much for comedian Seth Rogen. He blasted the Emmy operators, saying, "They said this was outdoors. It's not. They lied to us."
Two students were sitting at a table studying, and one of them had a "police lives matter" sticker on his laptop when two other students, both women, walked over to tell them that their presence was offensive.
The girls who filmed the encounter and targeted the students, identified themselves in a different video as student activists Mostadi and Zara. One of the girls filming the video called the student with the "police lives matter" sticker "offensive." One of the male students replied: "We're just trying to do school."

A crowd of some 60 people took over the Food District area at the Staten Island Mall on Saturday in a protest against New York's city-wide vaccine mandate. A video shared by FreedomNewsTV shows activists flooding the food court without any resistance from either security or staff despite a sign at the entrance warning diners that they must be vaccinated to enter the court. The protesters then proceed to take seats, occasionally breaking into chants of "USA!" and "f**k Joe Biden."

Wilde Kingdom Early Learning Center teacher James Ciolino was fired and slapped with an assault charge for the June 21 incident, in which he knocks the girl to the ground as her legs are flung into the air and she bursts into a crying fit.
"Get out of here," Ciolino is heard saying as he goes back to clapping and leading the class in a good morning song.
The girl cries loudly on the ground for about 50 seconds before he finally gets up from a chair — but rather than check on her or try to comfort her, he slings her under his arm like a sack of potatoes and takes her from the room.
