Officer Jakhary Jackson, a member of Portland police's rapid response team that has responded to ongoing protests for nearly 50 straight days, said what he's seen has been downright "frightening" as he detailed some of the encounters during a July 9 police briefing.
"You have white people screaming at black officers, 'You have the biggest nose I've ever seen," said Jackson, a nine-year department vet. "You hear these things and you go, 'Are these people, are they going to say something to this person? No.'"
Jackson, who graduated from Portland State University with a history degree, said the situation has been "actually frightening" given his own educational background.
In a recent interview on The Talk, Terry Crews followed up his interview with Don Lemon, where he'd been critical of Black Lives Matter, by stating "we have to include this white voice, this Hispanic voice, this Asian voice. We have to include it right now because if we don't, it's going to slip into something we're not prepared for."
Then Nick Cannon came forward with his anti-white and anti-Jew statements. Crews seemed oddly prophetic, but he still came under fire for his statements.
Comment: Terry Crews has not been afraid to speak his mind on many issues. The interview with Don Lemon on CNN is particularly interesting because he refused to let Don take him off point, despite Lemon's best bafflegab efforts. The CNN host ended up looking like the propagandist-spouting moron that he is.

In the days following the shooting, the whole of America empathised with the Rabbi, he ticked all the right boxes: a Jew, a victim, a survivor. The American President invited him to the White House, CNN let him speak his mind, the UN General Assembly offered the rabbi a platform so he could moan about the history of Jewish suffering. The Rabbi didn't miss an opportunity to shout: "Am Yisrael Chai, the nation of Israel is alive, do not fear and do not falter, Because God is protecting us and we will survive, we will grow and get stronger and stronger..." The Rabbi was correct, the nation of Israel is alive and kicking, but his message was hardly universal or inclusive.

Bernard Kerik, who was police commissioner of New York under former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, said he heard Thursday that de Blasio has one sergeant and eight other officers assigned to guarding the Fifth Avenue mural during each of three daily shifts. "Violence, shootings, and murder is up in NYC and this clown has three sergeants and 24 cops guarding a mural! If true, #SICKENING," Kerik tweeted.

US, UK and Canadian intelligence dropped a 16-page report on Thursday accusing "Russian hackers" - specifically APT29, the "Cozy Bear" hacking group of 'Russiagate' fame - of targeting unspecified entities involved in developing the (increasingly controversial) Covid-19 vaccine.
However, the report is fraught with the same factual pitfalls plaguing previous unsubstantiated "Russian hacking" tales, seemingly designed to capitalize on the general population's ignorance about cyber-attacks - or vaccines, for that matter. While Democrat-linked cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike specializes in attributing state actors to malware attacks, more reputable companies avoid doing so based solely on the malware used, since hacking groups often exchange tools or even collaborate.
The black Labrador had belonged to Wing Commander Guy Gibson, and served as the mascot of the 617 Squadron. The dog, named N****r, was known for drinking copious amounts of beer with the RAF pilots. The canine was hit by a car on the same day that the squadron carried out a famous raid on two German dams in May 1943. Illustrating the dog's importance to the squadron, their mascot's name was used as a codeword to confirm that one of the German dams had been destroyed.
A memorial created shortly after the mascot's passing, located at RAF Scampton, listed the dog's name and the circumstances of his death. However, the WW2-era headstone was recently modified, with the Labrador's name being replaced with "The Dog."
Comment: The rewriting of history, regardless of the motives, is not something to be celebrated, it's something to be feared.

The New York Times is being sued for $10 million for reporting during the COVID-19 pandemic that students at Liberty University were victims after university officials decided to reopen campus after a break.
Paul Bedard's "Washington Secrets" column in the Washington Examiner reported that in a 100-page suit filed in Virginia's Lynchburg Circuit Court, the university charged that New York Times reporter Elizabeth Williamson and photographer Julia Rendleman ignored "No Trespassing" signs to tour the campus when it was trying to keep away outsiders who might be infected with the coronavirus.

A statue of Jesus was beheaded at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Kendale Lakes July 15, 2020
The statue, which sits behind the church at 14187 SW 72nd St., was desecrated sometime Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
"This is an attack on the church," said Mary Ross Agosta, a spokeswoman for the Archdiocese of Miami. "This is not only private property, it is sacred property."
Ross Agosta said church personnel found the statue with its head on the ground just before 8 a.m.
"This is not something you can trip over and say, 'Oh, sorry,' " she said. "Someone did this intentionally."
Comment: So not just statues of "racist" figures in history - but all statues, and all figures of history - or in this case religious figures. What insanity we're seeing on display.
