Even before Donald Trump won the White House, there were strong indications that something was not quite right with the Liberal mindset. Today, all doubt on the matter has been cleared away.

The mass hysteria that swept across Liberal America, like one giant tear tsunami, following Hillary Clinton's 'surprise' loss in the 2016 presidential election has reached a new level of madness and can now be described as a deep-seated psychosis.

There are some understandable reasons for the Left's collective mental breakdown. Briefly, 'Russiagate' is disintegrating into a burlesque theater of the absurd, while Trump - from jump-starting the Heartland's industrial sector, to making peace with a nuclear-armed dictator, to 'winning' the World Cup - is on a serious roll. If the momentum continues, it may give the Republicans a crucial victory in November congressional midterms. The Democrats, acutely aware as to what is at stake yet unable to stop Trump, are showing a side of their character that can be best described as treacherous. And in order to see the symptoms of a disintegrating Democratic Party one only need look at the US entertainment industry.

Perhaps only in France would a billionaire and one of the nation's most powerful bankers both publicly chastise the president for neglecting ordinary people.

But such is France's professed attachment to its egalitarian tradition that such unlikely critics took aim at Emmanuel Macron on Friday over his promotion of a more meritocratic culture.

"Macron doesn't understand the little people. I'm afraid he's leading France toward a system that leaves the least favored behind," Le Monde quoted Francois Pinault, whose business empire includes the Gucci fashion house, as saying.

Comment: An interesting development. Perhaps the billionaires have a better grip on French history than Macron. The French Revolution wasn't so long ago.

The left-wing establishment's gambits are blowing up in its face.

Political correctness run amok is a popular topic on the right these days. Indeed, the conservative bookshelf is chock full of best-sellers devoted to the topic. Subject matters vary. One may focus on the hypocrisy of campus speech codes, another on the revisionist attempt to indict our founding fathers, yet another on secular progressivism's relentless campaign against religious freedom.

Still, progressive-inspired changes to our value system have made their mark - most notably during the eight-year reign of Barack Obama - and particularly among the generation popularly known as "Millennials." My response to these unwelcome changes has been two-fold: (1) I chronicle the establishment's tantrums whenever an anti-PC, Trump-inspired "disruptor" event takes place; and (2) I publicize vignettes wherein progressive overreaching boomerangs to the Left's disadvantage.

The Associated Press is running a horrific story today on how immigrant children were allegedly stripped naked, handcuffed, strapped down with bags over their head and beaten at a refugee facility in Virginia.

An anonymous plaintiff is suing the Shenandoah Valley Juvenile Center for the abuse he endured at the facility. The teen came here from Mexico. He was a troubled kid and wound up in the high security facility.

Now he's suing the government for abuse he says he endured at the juvenile center.

A person suspected of a car ramming incident in the West Bank surrendered to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), the Jerusalem Post reported Sunday.

The media reported citing a spokesperson of the IDF that the suspected terrorist surrendered.

According to the media outlet, in response to the attack the Israeli security services detained eight people suspected of terrorist activities.

Definition: Argument involving children to prop up a rationalization and make the opponent look like an asshole, as people are defenseless and suspend all skepticism in front of suffering children: nobody has the heart to question the authenticity or source of the reporting. Often done with the aid of pictures.

Can also describe the exploitation of babies by professional beggars who rent them from their parents and use them as potent appendage in their trade(remember that children tend to grow and need to be replaced).

The house of Sergei Skripal will be purchased by UK taxpayers, according to officials cited by The Sunday Times. The move has prompted a range of responses online - from cover-up allegations to jokes about home ownership.

Taxpayers will be footing the bill for Skripal's home, which is expected to be bought by the UK government for around £350,000 (US$464,000), The Sunday Times reported, citing Whitehall officials. They will also pay for the home of Detective Sergeant Nick Bailey, who fell ill after coming into contact with the nerve agent Novichok. That house is expected to cost taxpayers around £430,000. All in all, the purchase of both homes, cars, and other possessions, will amount to a hefty £1 million.

But the government's decision to snatch up Skripal's house has raised eyebrows online, including from those who believe the UK has "something to hide," since there remains zero evidence to back claims that Russia was behind the poisoning of Skripal and his daughter Yulia.

The family of a man who was decapitated by a former lover pleaded with his killer to reveal the location of his dismembered body amid outrage over her upcoming release.

Kathy Yeo, 47, was sentenced to a maximum 24 years in prison in Sydney, Australia, for the murder of Christopher Mark Dorrian, 31, in 2000.

Christopher was shot three times in the head and dismembered after he ended his relationship with her.

His head was found in a sports bag in Cooks River in Marrickville, Sydney, in 1997, but his body remains lost.

His mum previously told A Current Affair: "We never found my son's body.

"They won't say anything... I had to bury my son's head."

The New York Times posted a video of seven 'unaccompanied migrant children' arriving at New York's La Guardia Airport from Texas Wednesday evening - only the 'children' appear to be grown men.

Hundreds of 'separated children' have quietly been sent to New York, reports the New York Times.

Under cover of darkness and in the custody of the federal government, migrant children have been coming in waves to New York, taken from their parents after crossing the southern border.

Speaking outside Cayuga Centers in Harlem, one of a group of social service agencies in the state that contract with the federal government to take in unaccompanied minors, Mayor Bill de Blasio on Wednesday afternoon said 350 children had come through the center and that 239 of them were currently in Cayuga's care; the agency is not residential, but places children in temporary foster care and runs day programs.

Of course what the fake news media refuses to report is the majority of these children show up alone at the border.
