Chicago goon cops shoot two teens to death after they refuse to drop their guns

crime scene
Two teens were shot to death by Chicago police in two separate incidents on Sunday after they refused to drop their guns and pointed them at officers, police and a police union spokesman said on Monday.

In the first incident, gang enforcement officers responded to a complaint of armed men on a west side block. When officers arrived, one of the men fled into a passageway and drew a handgun from his waistband, police said in a statement.

The suspect, 19, ran up a back staircase of a building, according to police union spokesman Pat Camden. An officer ordered the man to drop his gun, but he pointed it in the officer's direction, and the officer shot him, police said.

Comment: Great, let only all the crazy trigger-happy goon cops carry guns so that the rest of us have no defense against them! About now it's a great time to resurface this excellent SOTT focus about gun rights and control in America:

A Temple Hills, Maryland man slashed his 3-year-old daughter's throat, then shot and killed her before leading police on a car chase that ended in a fatal shootout.

According to CBS Baltimore, 38-year-old Frederick Roy Miller shot and wounded two other people in the rampage, which took place on Saturday.

Police Chief Mark Magaw said in a press conference that Miller, a Marine veteran, was engaged in a custody battle with his ex-wife. On Saturday, Miller went to the home where his daughter, Laila Miller, lived with her two primary caretakers, her maternal grandfather and great-grandmother.

Miller shot the two adults, one in the driveway in front of the house, and left with the child as neighbors looked on in horror.

Police pursued Miller in a high-speed car chase that ended in a hail of bullets. When Miller was confirmed dead, police converged on the car and found Laila Miller bleeding from a gash in her throat and with a bullet wound to the head.

Demented MMA fighter who savagely beat ex-girlfriend sez oppression of men is worse than slavery

A mixed martial arts fighter accused of battering his porn actress former girlfriend complained that American men suffered even worse than Jews under Nazi Germany or African slaves in the U.S.

War Machine, who legally changed his name in 2008 from Jon Koppenhaver, was arrested Saturday in the brutal assault of his ex-girlfriend, Christy Mack, and reality TV star Corey Thomas. Mack suffered broken bones, missing teeth, and a ruptured liver in the attack.

The cage fighter, who has been imprisoned twice previously, claimed he attacked the pair in self-defense.

During his last incarceration, in 2010 on a San Diego assault conviction, War Machine wrote a weekly "prison blog," reported the Daily Telegraph, that outlined his complains about prison life.

"Me and a couple other guys have been waging war on these 2 loud, obnoxious *ssholes who love to yell and bang their door all day and night," War Machine wrote. "Our weapon of choice by default, is of course sh*t bombs... LMAO! We have been bombing their cells twice/day for 4 days straight and since the Deps hate them too, they don't even clean it out, they let them sit in sh*t for HOURS at a time."

Comment: Unfortunately, this guy really believes what he's saying. Another gem from this psychopathic cretin: Real men rape

"Pathocracy is a disease of great social movements followed by entire societies, nations, and empires. In the course of human history, it has affected social, political, and religious movements as well as the accompanying ideologies and turned them into caricatures of themselves." - Andrew M. California family says 'out of control' cops arrested disabled daughter for bloodshot eyes

A Hesperia, California family accused county law enforcement of mistreating their 25-year-old disabled daughter and arresting her on drug-related charges despite being alerted to her condition, the Victorville Daily Press reported.

"I'm a retired fire captain and this is just the most outrageous thing I've ever heard in my life," the woman's father, Steve Olsen, was quoted as saying. "I am a total supporter of law enforcement, but this was wrong. This was out of control."

Olsen's daughter, Kylee Olsen, was arrested on Friday by San Bernardino County sheriffs deputies. At the time, Kylee, who was born with fetal alcohol syndrome, reportedly told officers she had "special needs."

"They stopped me when I was getting on the bus," she said. "They asked me when I had last used meth and I said I had never used it. They said my pupils were completely red and put me in the back of the car. I was really scared. I didn't know what to do."

She reportedly responded by blaming a combination of allergies and antibiotics for her eyes' reddish appearance. A family friend, Elizabeth Newman, told the Daily Press that because of her condition, Kylee Olsen has the "mental capacity of a teenager, [and] the emotional capacity of a small child."

Police would not comment on the case, but Steve Olsen told the newspaper that an officer called him Friday night following his daughter's arrest on a "drug sweep" and told him she was taken in under suspicion of using methamphetamine. She was charged with "being under the influence of a controlled substance" before being released shortly after midnight on Saturday. She also reportedly took a drug test, which came up negative, and has no criminal record.

"It's like arresting a 5-year-old kid," Steve Olsen was quoted as saying. "If the guy could not figure out that she has disabilities he is just an idiot. This one is just so obvious."

Another victim of police brutality: LAPD ignores asthmatic mans' call for help, tosses him face-down in cell to die

According to two recently released reports, officers from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) knowingly ignored pleas from a suspect with asthma who said he couldn't breathe.

The suspect, Jorge Azucena, later died in custody of the LAPD.

The Los Angeles Times reports that a LAPD Sergeant told Azucena, "You can talk, so you can breathe."

Of course, anyone having serious asthma attack can still verbalize their distress, which the LAPD ignored.

"There should not be any question that when somebody in custody is heard to say 'I cannot breathe,'" Robert Saltzman, of the civilian Police Commission, told CBS Los Angeles. "The officers should [have] promptly call for an ambulance."

Comment: Whatever the police do, seldom do they suffer any consequences. As a result they have become more bold and more violent. Any encounter with the American police is a dangerous one.

Effects from conscience-less politicians: New York's homeless pushed deeper into the shadows

Joe sits on newspapers spread on the sidewalk by the entrance to midtown's Grand Central Station. His head rests in his hands, only looking up when coins from passersby clink into his paper cup.

"A shelter is like a prison without guards," he says, when asked why he was out on the street. "I'm done with them."

"A few things happened after the war. The government just forgot about me. Not only just me but a lot of others too." -- Don, a Vietnam veteran

The 36-year-old says "people who just got out of jail" steal from others in the bathroom and violence is rampant, as shelter staff members turn a blind eye. Throughout the conversation, Joe holds tight to his backpack, making sure it stays close.

While accurate figures for New York's unsheltered homeless are hard to come by, the thousands sleeping on the streets are in addition to the 53,615 people - a record-breaking figure not seen since the Great Depression - who enrolled in the city's shelter system in January this year. Yankee Stadium would not be able to seat all of them.

Family members of a teen who was shot at least 16 times by police in Ottawa, Kansas said this week that the 18-year-old was unarmed and suicidal when he was gunned down.

Brandy Smith told KCTV that police were there when her nephew, 18-year-old Joseph Jennings, had tried to kill himself with pills last week.

"Tonight is the night goodbye everyone!!!!! It was truly a good ride! And I'm sorry for who I might of hurted (sic) and people that I may of offended, But I love all my family and I hope you don't hold this against me," he reportedly wrote on Facebook before trying to overdose.

About 10 minutes later, Jennings swallowed 60 pills. And Smith said two officers took him to Ransom Memorial Hospital.

Jennings survived, and was released from the hospital two days later. But only three hours after that, he was on a "suicide mission" when he walked to Orscheln Farm and Home, according to his aunt.

Smith recalled that around six officers responded, and two of them had helped save Jennings' life by taking him to the hospital after his overdose just days before.

Cop who shot Michael Brown began career at failed police department which was disbanded over racial tensions

Michael Brown (pictured right) was shot multiple times by police officer Darren Wilson as he turned around with his hands up, an eye-witness said today
The police officer who reportedly shot unarmed Ferguson teen Michael Brown six times, igniting tensions in the St. Louis suburb that have led to several acts of violence, lootings, and arrests, started his career at a police department that was such a failure it had to be disbanded, according to the Washington Post.

Darren Wilson, along with all of the other officers who worked for Jennings Police Department, was fired three years ago after it was discovered there was a great deal of tension between white officers and black residents. According to the newspaper, the department was a "mainly white department mired in controversy and notorious for its fraught relationship with residents, especially the African American majority ... not an ideal place to learn how to police."

'Rubble bucket challenge' launched in Gaza: "Use of water more important to us than emptying it over our heads"

Image
In a dry imitation of the recent "Ice bucket challenge" craze sweeping the world, a campaign has been launched in Gaza, in which participants are invited to pour sand and rubble over their heads. According to the Facebook page, the aim of this campaign is "to raise awareness about the war on Gaza where people are bombed inside their homes."

Most readers should by now be aware of the latest strange viral fad, which involves pouring a bucket of ice over one's head in order to somehow raise money for the ALS association. Among the participants are the likes of George Bush, Lady Gaga, and Oprah Winfrey.

In the video, Ayman al Aloul, a journalist based in Gaza, candidly explains the situation in the besieged territory, which has suffered weeks of bombardment from psychopathic Israeli forces, and has been reduced to little but rubble. He then proceeds to dump a bucket of said rubble over his head to bring attention and solidarity to the plight of Gaza.

The campaign does not ask for material assistance, but simply solidarity and recognition.

As the massacre today enters it's 50th day, so far 2100 Palestinians have been murdered, with more than 17000 homes destroyed. Surrounded as they may be by rubble and bodies, the hearts and spirits of the people of Gaza are still intact, and they are an inspiration to all of us humans still remaining with the capacity to think and feel.

Good timing! Red Cross expanding operations in E. Ukraine

Image

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is planning to expand operations in eastern Ukraine, including Lugansk, where the situation remains tense, the independent aid agency's spokesperson Anastasia Isyuk told ITAR-TASS on Saturday.

"We are planning to expand our activities in Lugansk and eastern Ukraine as a whole. The ICRC team has begun assessing the needs," she said.

How fast the ICRC will be able to increase its presence in eastern Ukraine will depend on the results of the talks the ICRC advance group, working in Lugansk since August 20, is conducting with the warring sides, Isyuk said.

"They meet constantly with representatives of the warring sides despite continuous shelling, evaluate performance and assess the regions' needs," she said.
