An 18-year-old teenager weighing just six stone (38kg) was allowed to "rot to death" by his mother, sister and grandmother, a court has heard. Remains of his baby brother were found lying in a rucksack nearby.

Jordan Burling's body, found by paramedics, was reduced to "little more than skin and bones" and riddled with infected sores. It was akin to bodies of prisoners held in Nazi concentration camps, Leeds Crown Court heard.

Hundreds of students throughout the Netherlands have been diagnosed with scabies - a condition that causes itching and rashes - over the past months, infection expert Jan van der Have of public health institute GGD Groningen confirmed to NU.nl on Wednesday.

GGDs in Groningen, Leiden, Utrecht and The Hague, among others, observed a remarkable increase in scabies diagnoses. The exact number of cases can not be determined, because scabies is not a serious disease and doctors are therefore not obliged to report it. "The increase can be called striking", Van der Have said to the newspaper. "Scabies is not a disease that fits in 2018.Those who observe basic hygienic rules, like washing your bed linen every week, have nothing to fear."

Fraud! America has 3.5million more registered voters than live adults

American democracy has a problem - a voting problem. According to a new study of U.S. Census data, America has more registered voters than actual live voters. It's a troubling fact that puts our nation's future in peril.

The data come from Judicial Watch's Election Integrity Project. The group looked at data from 2011 to 2015 produced by the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey, along with data from the federal Election Assistance Commission.

As reported by the National Review's Deroy Murdock, who did some numbers-crunching of his own, "some 3.5 million more people are registered to vote in the U.S. than are alive among America's adult citizens. Such staggering inaccuracy is an engraved invitation to voter fraud."

Murdock counted Judicial Watch's state-by-state tally and found that 462 U.S. counties had a registration rate exceeding 100% of all eligible voters. That's 3.552 million people, who Murdock calls "ghost voters." And how many people is that? There are 21 states that don't have that many people.

Migrants are forking out huge sums for new EU passports that allow them to dodge Cross-channel security in Calais and Dover in a farce dubbed by one smuggler as "a guaranteed way to get into the UK".

The immigrants are flown from Paris to Dublin where they travel by car to the Northern Irish border, a BBC investigation revealed.

They then take the ferry from Belfast to Glasgow and then the final leg of the journey to England where they begin a plush new life afresh.

The brazen plot has been nicknamed the 'Irish route' because after a swift passport check in Dublin, it is the last time documents are shown before getting into Britain.

A male, white professor goes on a racial rant against white children in a Harlem restaurant that he apparently frequents.
James Livingston, a white Rutgers University professor of history, went on a racist rant against white children and their parents Thursday after visiting a Harlem restaurant.

What did he say?

Livingston, irritated by the very presence of white children at a local Harlem restaurant that he apparently frequents, penned a rant on Facebook that was captured for posterity by The Daily Caller.

The post targeted young, white children as "little Caucasian a**holes."

According to the outlet, Livingston wrote, "OK, officially, I now hate white people. I am a white people, for God's sake, but can we keep them - us - us out of my neighborhood? I just went to Harlem Shake on 124 and Lenox for a Classic burger to go, that would [be] my dinner, and the place is overrun with little Caucasian a**holes who know their parents will approve of anything they do."

Comment: Apparently this guy has drunk a bit too much of the 'white privilege' kool-aid and felt the need to go on a racist rant.

UPDATE: The owners of Harlem Shake react. Apparently, they don't appreciate his divisive and stupid comments:
In a statement provided to TheBlaze, Jelena Pasic and Dardra Coaxum revealed their thoughts on Livingston's Facebook rant.

Pasic, who is the restaurant's founder, and Coaxum, who is a partner, condemned the professor's remarks, and directly addressed Livingston, noting that they "refuse to be sucked into [his] racist rants."

"For five years and counting, we built our business on a prerogative [of] cherishing diversity within our ownership, staff and customers in our beloved Harlem COMMUNITY. We refuse to be sucked into your racist rants, so if you wish to name drop, please use names of those with similar views," Pasic and Coaxum told TheBlaze.

"We ask that our name is removed from your rant because we do not want to have anything to do with you," the women added. "And yeah, we ask that you get your burgers somewhere else. We do not tolerate 'racism' either. We thrive on equality and fairness and have full intentions to keep it that way!"

An Instagram post also addressed the professor's racist tirade, which featured a glossy shot of the two women.

The post read, "Even the coolest cats in Harlem know that for the past five years and counting, Harlem Shake has been and continues to be an active member of the diverse and evolving Harlem community and beyond. We proudly have diverse ownership, staff and most importantly, customers! Every day we serve men women and children from across the globe and mostly from our beloved Harlem community. Thank you Harlem for being our home and we are proud to serve you all! #HarlemShakeNyc #Harlem #Uptown."

If you've followed American media in recent times, you will have probably heard that meddling in affairs of foreign nations is a bad thing - but it seems that view changes dramatically when the US is the one doing the meddling.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro was reelected in May in what Washington wrote-off as a "sham" election. In response, the Trump administration slapped new sanctions on the South American country and seemingly won't be happy until Maduro and his socialist regime packs up and disappears.

Confirming that it's Washington's way or the highway, a former US official who worked as assistant administrator for Latin America at the US Agency for International Development, under the Bush administration, has openly called for a military coup - and Foreign Policy magazine has obligingly published his thoughts.

Comment: If it wasn't clear already to those paying attention, democracy in the West is a sham. The US has long since stopped behaving like a democracy, and clearly they only use it to try and control foreign governments who are stepping out of line.

UK austerity plunges another 1.5 million below breadline, 3.7 million visiting food banks

Tory austerity measures are leading to "destitution by design" in the UK, campaigners warn. It comes amid statistics suggesting 1.5 million people plunged below the breadline in 2017, while 3.7 million resorted to food banks.

According to the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, 1.5 million people, including 365,000 children, were pushed into destitution last year alone. It was largely due to debt recovery at the hands of authorities and delays or sanctions on benefit payments.

Destitution is defined as when a person has been forced to go without essentials such as shelter, food, heating, lighting, clothing and footwear, or toiletries in the last month, or if an adult's income is below £70 week.

Comment: Since the bankster bailouts in 2008, the UK has been in a downward spiral with a stagnating economy, high unemployment, with deep cuts to vital social programs as well as to public services, resulting in sky-rocketing homelessness and child poverty:

The religious landscape of Western Europe is changing. The Christian population is declining, while the share of religiously unaffiliated adults is increasing. The Muslim population is growing as a result of immigration and higher fertility rates. Meanwhile, the Jewish population appears to be on the decline due to emigration to Israel and other factors.

Against this backdrop, Pew Research Center asked people in 15 Western European countries a number of questions related to multiculturalism and pluralism, with a specific emphasis on their attitudes toward Muslims and Jews. These questions were part of a broader study on religion and identity in the region.

In this Q&A, Neha Sahgal, one of the lead authors of the study, discusses how the survey team constructed its questions and analyzed the results.

Is this survey intended to measure the extent of Islamophobia and anti-Semitism in Western Europe today?

The survey questions weren't designed to measure anti-Semitism or Islamophobia in a comprehensive way, but rather to capture some expressed negative sentiment about these groups. We asked respondents about their willingness to accept Muslims and Jews as neighbors and relatives. We also asked questions about whether people think Islam is compatible with their country's values and culture, and if they favor restrictions on Muslim women's religious clothing. Another set of questions asked people if they agree or disagree with a number of strongly worded statements about Jews and Muslims.
