On Friday, the RT broadcaster said US police officers detained Rubinstein, who was covering the march of anti-capitalist nature held in the US capital on the day of Trump's inauguration. According to the media outlet, Rubinstein was detained despite he had shown his media credentials to police.
A preliminary hearing in Rubinstein's case will be held on February 16, as he had been charged with a second-degree felony, the statement, published on the court's website, said.
The RT broadcaster's press service confirmed that the reporter, who had been released, was facing charges over participation in mass unrest.
The White House counselor — Trump's most visible adviser — is being protected by the same agency tasked with his security after receiving the threats, Conway told Fox News' Sean Hannity.
"Because of what the press is doing now to me, I have Secret Service protection," she said. "We have packages delivered to my house with white substances. That is a shame."
While Conway's Secret Service detail is unusual, it is not without precedent. Barack Obama's closest adviser, Valerie Jarrett, also was protected by the agency.
Asked by the Washington Post about the relationship among Trump's top advisers — herself, Steve Bannon, Jared Kushner and Reince Priebus — Conway said it was good. "We're a cohesive unit," Conway said.
In the lawsuit, Stinson v. City of New York, the plaintiffs argued that the New York Police Department (NYPD) had been engaging in "a pattern and practice of stopping, seizing, and issuing summonses to individuals without probable cause, in violation of the First, Fourth, Fifth, Eighth, and 14th Amendments."
Lawyers for the plaintiffs have called the lawsuit the largest false-arrest class-action lawsuit in the city's history, with nearly a million summonses issued since 2007 for minor offenses, such as disorderly conduct, trespassing, urinating and drinking alcohol in public.
Since then, dozens of other officers joined the lawsuit, alleging that they were ordered to issue summonses "regardless of whether any crime or violation" had occurred in order to meet quotas.
Linda Sarsour is very vocal about her support for Palestine and her utter hatred for Israel. She has ties to the terrorist organization, Hamas as the Daily Caller reports:
Linda Sarsour, one of the organizers behind Saturday's Women's March, being held in Washington, D.C., was recently spotted at a large Muslim convention in Chicago posing for pictures with an accused financier for Hamas, the terrorist group.Linda Sarsour is very active on Twitter. She is pro Sharia law and a couple of her tweets even have a seditious tone to them where she romanticizes Sharia law and hints at it taking over America whereby we would have interest free loans.
Sarsour, the head of the Arab American Association of New York and an Obama White House "Champion of Change," was speaking at last month's 15th annual convention of the Muslim American Society and Islamic Circle of North America.
While there, she posed for a picture with Salah Sarsour, a member of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee and former Hamas operative who was jailed in Israel in the 1990s because of his alleged work for the terrorist group.
The former nuclear technician had completed an 18-year jail term for treason and espionage in 2004. Upon his release from Shikma Prison in southern Israel, he was slapped with a long and stringent list of restrictions.
In 2016 Vanunu was arrested and charged with violating three counts of his release conditions.
The Jerusalem Magistrate Court announced on Monday that Vanunu was cleared of two of those counts, one of which is related to an interview he gave to an Israeli television channel in 2015.
However, the whistleblower was found guilty of meeting with two US nationals in east Jerusalem, without first receiving approval from Israeli authorities. Vanunu is barred from meeting foreigners or leaving the country, as Israel fears he will disclose more classified information.
Comment: Forget Iran, Israel is the rogue nuclear power. Trump, like every other American politician, may be forced to kow-tow to Israeli interests in order not to end up dead, but that doesn't change the facts: Israel is a criminal state, and all American aid to Israel is illegal, even by U.S. laws:

"There are strong suspicions of inappropriate conduct among the agents, for example, the solicitation of sexual services during missions abroad, administrative fraud, alcohol abuse, and blackmail," said a classified federal police reviewobtainedby the Flemish-language channel VTM this week.
According to official statistics approximately 11,000 immigrants were deported from Belgium last year, a job that is conducted by a team of 100 repatriation escorts.

A campaign poster for Benoit Hamon, candidate in the French Socialist party presidential primaries, is seen on a wall in Paris, France, January 20, 2017.
Former education Minister Benoit Hamon won the first round of the French socialist primaries against ex-PM Manuel Valls by some 5 percent. Both will now advance to a run-off, scheduled for next Sunday.
French media, however, questioned the results of the election, especially the turnout numbers. "Some simple calculations prove that there has been a manipulation of the number [of people who attended the elections]," Le Monde newspaper said.
French media released two screenshots of the election page - the first was taken on Monday at 12:45am local time and the second at 10am. The percentages which the candidates received were almost the same, but the number of votes was quite different.
Hamon is said to have 36.35 percent with 454,041 votes in one screenshot. In another, he has the same 36.35 percent with 582,014 votes. Valls had 388,603 votes on Monday night and 498,114 votes in the morning. But according to the website, it was 31.11 percent both times.
Le Monde counted that overnight the number of voters grew by 352,013 - which didn't tip even a hundredth of a percent either way.
Madonna, the tough brave Trump protestor, turns into a pop singing chicken.
Turns out that Madonna is not so tough after all.
The "Queen of Pop" is trying to explain away her I thought "an awful lot about blowing up the White House," speech at the Women's March in DC this Saturday.
In case you forgot, here is a part of Madonna's speech, which also included the 'f-bomb' four times.
Why is Madonna changing her tune?"I'm angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House. But I know that this won't change anything."
"'We cannot fall into despair. As the poet W. H. Auden once wrote on the eve of World War Two, 'We must love one another or die.' I choose love. Are you with me?"
Turns out that threatening to blow up the President of the United States, and the home he resides in, is a terrorist act...which mean the US Secret Service is now obligated to investigate the pop singer.
Russian law currently forbids sentencing men under 14 and over 65 years old and women of all ages to life in prison. In early 2014, two convicts serving life sentences in prison camps in northern Russia filed separate complaints contesting this point in the criminal code with the European Court of Human Rights, claiming that it discriminated based on sex and age. One convict had been imprisoned for assaulting a police officer and illegal possession of firearms, and the other for a triple murder.

Yelena Mizulina announced plans to draft a bill that would punish child abuse by teachers or parents with life in prison.
Mizulina wrote on her personal website that she proposed to apply the toughest punishment possible in cases when the abuse is committed by people "close to the victim," such as parents or teachers.
The senator noted that the amendment had already been considered and rejected by parliament, but expressed hope that new facts uncovered by the Russian media would now push lawmakers to pass it.
Comment: Yelena Mizulina is the head of the Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs. She's been sanctioned by the West and has been repeatedly demonized for her bill that criminalized the promotion of homosexuality to minors. OpenDemocracy described her in the following way:
In recent years, though, this pleasant looking 60 year-old's name has become a byword for rabid, narrow-minded patriotic conservatism, bordering on a mindset reminiscent of the Stone Age.Sadly this is the mindset of the West's 'liberal intelligentsia' and their many followers. Mizulina, who ordered the shut-down of a pedophile's art exhibit and who campaigns for strict punishment of child abusers, is just not 'tolerant' enough.

Comment: Regardless the pros or cons of Sharia law, this is what it feels like when an element with a mandate tries to replace the status quo of a country. It doesn't feel good and brings out the push-back response. Sarsour is a 'champion for change' acknowledged by the Obama administration. Is she willingly working with the PTB to help create revolution in America or just a zealot for her cause? Either way, she is making waves and it has the calculated effect to agitate and divide.
