A bird became lodged in the shell of the Airbus A319 after striking the nose cone while approaching the South Florida airport from Mexico City. The plane landed safely and the animal was spotted as the airliner taxied to its gate at around 11am Wednesday. No-one was injured in the incident.
The bird strike follows a similar incident last month in which a charter plane carrying NBA stars from the Oklahoma City Thunder was hit by an unidentified object on its way to Chicago-Midway.
According to a report from Redding's Record Searchlight, a police officer was called to a Red Bluff neighborhood on Sunday morning after receiving reports that two large dogs were chasing a girl on a bicycle. The responding officer claimed he opened fire on the dogs because they were "acting viciously and aggressively," and were threatening to attack him.
However, in a video published on Facebook by Jimi Wade, a neighbor of the dogs' owner, he claimed that the opposite had occurred. "He had no business shooting the dogs. They were in my driveway. He was the aggressor. The dogs were not the aggressor," Wade said as he stood feet away from the officer who shot them.
The officer is shown standing near a patrol car with his arms crossed over his chest. While he is close enough to hear the claims Wade is making, and to be aware that he is being recorded, he does not respond.
But the paternity test ultimately resulted in more severe charges for Alvarado because the mother of the child was only 15 and was his stepdaughter, according to a criminal complaint.
Alvarado, 32, now faces three felonies for what investigators say were several years of sustained sexual assaults, assaults his wife later knew about yet did nothing to prevent, according to the complaint.
Alvarado is charged with first-degree sexual assault, resulting in pregnancy, repeated sexual assault of a child and incest. He pleaded not guilty at a court appearance last week and is being held on $20,000 bail but has a bail hearing next week.
Females are also admonished to be careful of male lawmakers who sleep in their offices - another "unwritten" rule that women on Capitol Hill live by, according to the outlet.
The outlet spoke to more than 50 lawmakers, current and former staffers, and other political veterans, who revealed a culture so rife with sexual harassment that there is an informal "creep list" of lawmakers to avoid.
The allegations come after dozens of high-powered Hollywood figures like Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, Louis C.K., and political journalists have been outed as rapists, predators, and perverts who have subjected men and women to sexual assault for decades.
The story noted: "On Capitol Hill, it's not clear that a similar a day of reckoning is soon coming to one of the country's most important institutions."
It didn't take long to get the answer to the question-what's with the Hollywood Weinstein hysteria all of a sudden? Why are the Powers That Be throwing scrubby ol' Harvey and other Hollywood icons under the bus after all these years?
Many of Harvey's string of accusers were compensated with a lot more than a coke- dusted hundred dolla bill. They enjoyed starring roles and a lucrative career. Some were tragically abused and derailed.
Either way, their stories ironically provide the toolkit to commit political rape.
For the Globalists there's a lot more at stake than some pop culture propaganda and box office ticket sales. Their pimped out entertainment icons are expendable. The epic money and power grab of a One World Government is all that matters now.
Roy Moore is in the throes of the outrage-boomerang.
"We work out together," Kayla Moore said when asked for her response to the allegations against Judge Roy Moore:
We, of course, live together. We travel together. We do everything together. Even when he worked at the Supreme Court, he was just down the road from me, so when we got back to Montgomery this last time of course I went with him-and it was just me and him; we kind of had our own little place. But when he was working at the Supreme Court, I was down in my office, we would have lunch or I would go down to his office. After work, when the other one was still working-we were always together. Always together. You know we met at a Bible study-that's where we met. We raised our children at in Bible-focused Christian home. You know, it's just not true-any of it.
- Markets are showing signs of nervousness, which analysts say is not necessarily the dire warning some fear.
- There is concern that the bond market is sending warnings about the economy, as high yield debt sells off and the Treasury yield curve flattens.
- The yields of longer duration bonds are getting closer to the yields of shorter duration bonds, and some see that as a forewarning about a slower economy.
Continuing a choppy trend of the last several sessions, stocks Tuesday seesawed and closed lower. The dollar weakened, as commodities like copper and oil sold off. The high yield debt market was under pressure, as buyers moved into safety at the long end of the Treasury curve.
"We're just taking a little bit of a break," said Art Hogan, chief market strategist at Wunderlich Securities.
Comment: Paul Craig Roberts thinks the US economy is failing miserably:
What we are witnessing in the United States is the first country to reverse the development process and to go backward by giving up industry, manufacturing, and tradeable professional skill jobs. The labor force is becoming Third World with lowly paid domestic service jobs taking the place of high-productivity, high-value added jobs.Sooner or later this will catch up with Wall Street - if it hasn't already.
The psychiatrist told my mom: 'Homosexuality is just like all the other mental diseases, like depression, anxiety, or bipolar. It can be cured.... Trust me, leave him here, he is in good hands.'Homosexuality is neither a crime nor officially regarded as an illness in China. For decades, the legal status of consensual same-sex activity between men was ambiguous, but that was cleared up in the revised criminal code of 1997. In 2001, the Chinese Society of Psychiatry removed homosexuality from its list of mental disorders. This is consistent with the consensus of global medical associations that homosexuality is not a medical condition.

However, public hospitals and private clinics in China continue to offer so-called "conversion therapy," which aims to change an individual's sexual orientation from homosexual or bisexual to heterosexual, based on the false assumption that homosexuality is a disorder that needs to be remedied. Despite a legal framework that requires that the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders comply with diagnostic standards and standards on the categorizations of mental disorders, Chinese authorities have not taken the necessary steps to stop public hospitals or private clinics from offering conversion therapy. The steps should include: issuing clear guidelines to all public and private hospitals and clinics indicating that conversion therapy contravenes existing law; closely monitoring medical facilities to determine whether conversion therapy is taking place; and, where it is, holding such facilities accountable, including by suspending the licenses of errant facilities or practitioners.
Comment: There is a sizeable percentage of the populations of Western nations who do not see homosexuality as normal, and who likely agree with the idea that some form of 'conversion therapy' is at least worth a try. China is no different in this respect. In fact, only 9 of the 50 United States bans the practice for minors. So why single out China?
I am not saying that a majority of Islamic people become Islamists - relating to the expansionist political ideology. I'm not saying that a majority of militant atheists become terrorists. I am saying that when terrorists do arise, they tend to follow an observable pattern like this. Devin Patrick Kelley, 26-year-old, opened fire inside a small church, murdering at least 28 and injuring 30 more. After a tragedy of this magnitude, two factors come into play. Liberals blame guns and conservatives blame "mental health." The President made an official statement in which he also blamed "mental health." Yet, none of these explanations are satisfying. All of them are wrong - dangerously wrong.
The truth of the matter is far more sinister. It is simply not the case that it's the same on the right. The reason Dylann Roof was such a hysterical media case is precisely the fact that he was the white stag of the media world - the elusive right wing terrorist. Most violent crime every year and most domestic mass terror incidents occurs among those who, if they were voting, would predominantly be voting left-wing. Militants and atheists and Islamists are politically left-wing wherever they gain political power, in favor of transferring all authority to themselves- remember the Orlando Marteen shooter's father in the front row of a Hillary Clinton rally days after the horrific attack.
Comment: Taking the "why do they always target the innocent?" a little further, we could ask, why don't the jihadi shooters ever target Western politicians or militaries? One would think that such would be the primary targets for a 'soldier of the caliphate' angry at Western government and military attacks on Islamic countries.
But beyond these overt signs, there's another thing happening. A re-composition of the social forces, of the grassroots and their independent organizations-that is, those that are far from the ruling party-and despite having links with political parties and with a sector of the Catholic church that preaches liberation, came out to welcome María del Jesús Patricio Martínes, better known as Marichuy, the spokeswoman and presidential candidate.
On October 15, we went to Caracol 4, in Morelia, the meeting point of thousands of people from the Zapatista grassroots, hundreds more from the Movement in Defense of Life and Territory (Modevite) and another peasant front. From towns of Ocosingo to Altamirano, all along the road we saw banners and signs that invited everyone to the public events that were going to be held in the region featuring Marichuy - spokeswoman of the Indigenous Council of Government (CIG), which is made up of the National Indigenous Council (CNI) and the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN).
Comment: Does Marichuy mean what she says, and will she have the brains and the brawn necessary to duke it out in the political struggle for the Mexican presidency? We'll have to wait and see.

Comment: The Washington Post is clearly attempting to derail the Senate campaign of a potential Trump ally. Democrats and their media cronies will stoop to any depths to smear an opponent.
