"You don't have a dog anymore" psychopathic cops take turns shooting family's dog while laughing

Earlier this year, Christie Fry and her family rescued a 7-month old puppy with a broken leg. They named him Bear.

For several months, the family nursed Bear back to health and soon he was a normal running and jumping pup. Bear soon became a beloved member of the family. However, earlier this month, on December, 10, all that love would come to an end.

According to Fry, Bear was secured to a cable leash in his backyard when she heard him barking at the construction workers working on an abandoned house next door. Fry says that Bear was a 'barker', so this was nothing out of the ordinary. But when the barking was brought to a halt by the sound of gunfire, Fry panicked.

"Thank god the kids were at school," Fry said in an interview with PuppycideDB.com

When Fry got up to see what was going on, she heard more shots. Fry recalls those frightening moments:

I hear 2 gunshots. As I'm getting up I hear the third. As soon as I'm standing, I can see out my side window. Police. Fourth shot. I look at what they're doing & see my dog on the ground. My dog starts screaming. I scream. More shots. Five, six, seven, eight. There's 2 cops taking turns shooting him with smiles on their faces. I run out yelling "What the hell!!!!!" They said "Is this your dog?" "Yes!!" I replied. "What happened??!!" The officer said (& I quote!!) "Well you don't have a dog anymore. He's done now!" & laughed in my face.

My 1yr old puppy that I did everything in my power to save was laying there dead. They shot my dog like he was a human coming at them with a gun.

Report: Violent military crackdown and curfews force 200,000 civilians to flee Kurdish southeast

© Sertac Kayar/ReutersRiot police use a water cannon to disperse Kurdish demonstrators during a protest against the curfew in Sur district, in the southeastern city of Diyarbakir, Turkey, December 22, 2015.
Escalating violence, ongoing clashes, curfews and brutal crackdowns on Kurdish nationals have squeezed hundreds of thousands of people out of Turkey's southeast after Ankara launched a military offensive against the Kurdistan Workers' Party.

Some 200,000 people have been forced to leave the areas of settlement in Turkey's south as a result of a special operation which Ankara launched against the outlawed PKK after uneasy ceasefire collapsed in July, Turkish daily Today's Zaman reports.

The region is undergoing its second largest migration wave since the 1990s, the publication writes. In the Diyarbakir Province's Sur district alone "tens of thousands" were forced to flee their homes since Ankara imposed the latest strict curfew early December, CNN Turk reported, citing the opposition Republican Peoples Party (CHP).

The area of the Turkish military operation resembles a warzone, local citizens are telling media outlets, while photos and videos posted online show homes, mosques, stores and other buildings badly damaged by clashes. People are saying there is neither water nor electricity supply anymore. Schools are closed and even finding food has become a problem.

Despite the doom and gloom: Vigilant Citizen's 2015 holiday message

2015 sunset
The sun is setting on 2015 and, the least we can say, is that it was a bumpy ride. This year again, I attempted to provide a different perspective on things, one that bypasses the usual media hype and propaganda to highlight the wider agenda. Here at Vigilant Citizen, it is never about being alarmist or pushing fear mongering, it is about taking a step back, taking a deep breath and understanding the bigger picture.

Through analysis of popular culture, I look to draw attention to a clear and obvious pattern of messages and symbols that permeates all levels of mass media. Understanding this pattern is paramount because it means understanding the true mindset of those in power - and where they want to world to head.

The Pickering family from Texas is celebrating a miracle this Christmas, which so nearly did not happen. With doctors about to turn off a life support machine keeping George Pickering's son alive, a desperate and armed George intervened, determined his son would live.

This year has been an eventful one for George Pickering II and his son George Pickering III. George Jr. has made a full recovery after being in a coma. With doctors set to turn off his life support machine, his savior proved to be his own father.

Upon hearing that doctors had given up hope, a drunk and armed George Sr. marched towards the Tomball Regional Medical Center in Houston, Texas, determined to make sure his son was given more time to make a recovery, even if it meant he would spend time in jail. George Sr. barricaded himself inside with his 27-year-old son as he managed to hold off police, before something amazing happened.

In a message to the Libyan people, the US President said the 2011 Libyan revolution liberated them from "42 years of dictatorship." Now there are "profound challenges," which the Libyan people "have demonstrated the commitment to resolve."

Barack Obama welcomed the endorsement of the Libyan Political Agreement signed on December 17 and expressed confidence that with political dialogue and the establishment of a Government of National Accord, peace, prosperity, and security would come in the divided country.

Black Xmas: Black Lives Matter protest in major Minnesota mall and other locations in US

Chicago - Police made at least four arrests as hundreds of protesters with the Black Lives Matter movement briefly shut stores at the sprawling Mall of America and blocked traffic at Minneapolis airport Wednesday, officials and reports said.

Separately, another eight people were arrested in a small demonstration in San Francisco, reports said, on what the activist group branded "Black Xmas."

The Minnesota mall, often described as the biggest shopping center in the US, had tried but failed to get a court order to bar the protesters -- a move activists said only strengthened their resolve to disrupt shopping on one of the biggest days in the year for retailers.

Comment: More than fifty years ago, there was an Afro American Civil Rights leader who stated things exactly as they were, and as they would come to be - today. His name was Malcolm X. He was imperfect and put his foot in his mouth more than once. But he also displayed a boldness, drive, and strength of character that few matched. He truly spoke truth to power. He also evolved.

Listen to some of the things he said before his life, like Martin Luther King Jr.'s, was cut tragically short. And consider the challenges of Afro Americans in the United States today in light of this and through their experiences of the objective reality of life in this godforsaken country.

An Idaho school district has offered to hire back a cafeteria worker fired over a $1.70 school lunch which she had given to a hungry student, after international news coverage of her plight and a backlash on social media.

Dalene Bowden, who worked at Irving Middle School in southeastern Idaho, was fired last week after serving food to a 12-year-old student who said she could not pay for the meal. Bowden offered to pay from her own pocket, but her supervisor refused. She was fired shortly afterwards for "theft of school district property."

Heartless: More than a dozen US cities destroy homeless camps days before Christmas

Homeless
On any given night in the United States, there are an estimated 578,000 people who are sleeping without a roof over their head.

Instead of embracing the spirit of the season and being a little more giving and compassionate than normal, 15 American cities are trying to sweep their homeless members of the community out of public view, NPR reported.

Throughout the month of December, Portland, Maine has been rapidly tearing down homeless encampments. Earlier this year, the city cut funding for both shelters and expenses to provide those who couldn't get into shelters with motel rooms.

A transformer exploded next to the King George Inn in South Whitehall Township late Wednesday, knocking out electrical power to a limited area, according to emergency radio reports.

The transformer blew up about 11 p.m. at the closed, historical restaurant at Hamilton and Cedar Crest boulevards. Fire police were dispatched to control traffic at the intersection.

Officers radioed that the power outage affected a small area around the King George. Just before midnight, PPL's online outage center showed six customers without electricity.

A PPL repair crew was dispatched to the scene.

Comment: There has been a disturbing number of transformer explosions in the last few years. Is the worldwide electrical grid in that bad shape, or is there some other factor at work?

One person appears to have received a leg injury, while another suffered an asthma attack and a woman has gone into labor, WBTV quoted Mecklenburg EMS ‒ also known as Medic ‒ as saying.

The shooting occurred near the mall's Apple Store, a witness told WCNC.

Witnesses reported hearing seven shots fired, according to the CBS affiliate.

A man who was in the mall said he heard arguing before the shooting, and that an officer shot and killed the gunman, he told WBTV's Dedrick Russell.

Police have confirmed it was an officer-involved shooting, WSOC reported.
