Muslim boy, age 12, forced into ISIS terrorist confession, family sues school

Nashwan Uppal, special needs student bullied into false confession.
A bullying incident at a Long Island school turned into a violation of civil rights when the principal forced the victim, a 12-year-old Muslim boy, to sign a false confession that he was a terrorist and Islamic State supporter, according to a lawsuit. The complaint refers to an incident in January this year, when Nashwan Uppal, a seventh grader, was bullied by a group of students, who called him a "terrorist" and asked him what he was going to while at the cafeteria of the East Islip Middle School. The lawsuit, filed in a Central Islip Eastern District Court on Monday, named the school district as a defendant.

Uppal, a special needs student, repeatedly tried to get away, but in an effort to get the children to stop, he acquiesced and is alleged to have told the them he was a terrorist and was going to blow up the fence, according to the lawsuit. The family stated that because of his learning disability, Uppal thought "terrorist" meant "tourist,"and the fence was the first thing he saw when he looked out of the window.

The next day, Uppal was taken to the assistant principal's office who interrogated him along with the school's principal, where he was asked repeatedly if he was a terrorist, if he made bombs, if he knew who "Osama" was, and if he was part of Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL), according to the complaint.

The school principal Mark Bernard and assistant principal Jason Stanton are alleged to have demanded he write a confession stating he was part of IS, knew how to make bombs and was going to blow up the school, according to the complaint. The family maintains that he was forced to write the confession under "extreme duress" and had his civil rights violated. His backpack and locker were also searched.

Comment: Sad commentary on the workings of propaganda and fear mongering to the extent 12 year-olds with disabilities are accused of terrorism and are subsequently traumatized into making confessions. This principal should have known that this child may not have had the capacity to understand the accusations. Instead, he bought into the taunts of bully students and embellished further with his own bias and hubris. Nashwan is a US citizen of Pakistani background.

Princeton U. HR department: Do not use the word 'man'

Stuck in 'no man's land.'
The Princeton University HR department has largely wiped the word "man" from its vocabulary. The relatively new policy in effect at the Ivy League institution spells out the directive in a four-page memo that aims to make the department more gender inclusive. Instead of using "man," employees are told to use words such as human beings, individuals or people.

Other guidelines? Instead of "man and wife" use spouses or partners. Switch out "man made" with artificial, handmade or manufactured. Don't use the verb "to man," as in to work something, instead use to operate or to staff. Throw out workmanlike and replace it with skillful. The memo goes on to list a variety of occupations that typically include the word "man" in them and offers replacements: business person instead of businessman, firefighter instead of fireman, ancestors instead of forefathers, and so on.

"Consistent with style guidelines issued by Princeton's Office of Human Resources and Office of Communications, and as endorsed by the Institutional Equity Planning Group as a preferred University practice, HR has developed these gender inclusive style guidelines, to be utilized by all HR staff members in HR communications, policies, job descriptions, and job postings," the memo states. In a statement to The College Fix, John Cramer, Princeton's director of media relations, said the guidelines "reflect the university's initiative of fostering an inclusive environment."

While Princeton's language policy for its Offices of Communications and Human Resources, Princeton's LGBT Center also offers a guide on various gender pronouns for those who identify as "transgender, genderqueer, and other gender-variant," suggesting "ze, zie and hir," "they and theirs," and "Ey, em, eir and emself."

Comment: There are so many worse things in the world to obsess over. This is insanity. Get over it.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents working with Mexican immigration officials have found thousands of non-Hispanic illegal immigrants crossing Mexico's southern border to make their way to Texas. The "extra-continental" immigrants enter countries as far south as Brazil and make their way to the United States, often with forged travel documents.

"The reality is that the vast majority of the people that Mexico encounters [on its southern border] that are extra-continental will eventually end up on our border," a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) official told Reuters this week. The Reuters article confirmed the Syrian nationals reported at the Mexican border with Laredo last year by Breitbart Texas's Brandon Darby and Ildefonso Ortiz are part of this growing pattern of illegal migration. Just a few days after that, Darby and this writer broke the news of six men from Pakistan and Afghanistan being arrested about sixteen miles inside the United States in Arizona. Those men were quickly snatched up from the Border Patrol's custody by the FBI. Shortly after that, five more Syrian Nationals were detained at the Laredo port of entry.

Disintegrating humanity: Woman who cut off pet snakes' heads with scissors & ate them escapes jail

A drunken woman who decapitated her pet snakes with scissors and swallowed their heads has managed to escape jail time, despite causing "prolonged and painful suffering" to the reptiles.

After drinking seven cans of lager and shots of amaretto and whiskey on April 8, 28-year-old Jennifer Lampe decided to chop the heads off of her boa constrictor and ball python, at her sister's home in Church Stretton, Shropshire.

Following the decapitations, Lampe swallowed the heads but later vomited them up, stating that she had "wanted to keep them."

Lampe was discovered by her sister following the gruesome acts, who called the police.

Officers arrived to find Lampe covered in blood with the headless - but moving - body of her boa constrictor draped around her neck. Both of the reptiles' severed heads were in her trouser pockets.

Comment: Given this latest bizarre episode, conventional medicine will probably opt for increasing the woman's medication schedule, which will likely only worsen matters. At the very least she should be barred from any contact with animals not for five years, but for life.

Jennifer from Houston, Texas
A Houston, Texas, mother said her "worst nightmare" was realized recently when she learned that someone had hacked into a webcam positioned in her two daughters' bedroom and had been streaming their private goings-on live online for thousands to watch.

"We have security cameras to protect them," said Jennifer, a mother of three who asked that ABC News not use her last name. "I feel like I've failed. ... People are watching my kids in their home, dressing, sleeping, playing."

She told ABC News today that she found out about the live stream when a friend informed her that someone had posted a picture of the girls' room on a Houston mothers' group on Facebook in an effort to track down the family and warn them. The post belonged to Shelby Ivie, another mother more than 2,000 miles away in Oregon, who had made the shocking discovery Sunday. "I was in tears, thinking of the violation [Jennifer] must feel," Ivie told ABC News today.

Ivie, a mother of two in Keizer, Oregon, told ABC News today that last weekend she and her son were looking at satellite images of Earth online. As she searched for additional live satellite feeds, she came across the free app Live Camera Viewer, which she then downloaded.

Comment: Kudos to Shelby Ivie for her efforts!

Bill Clinton sexual assault accusers unite against NBC's whitewashing of his dirty deeds

andrea Mitchell
Kathleen Willey and Paula Jones, both of whom have accused Bill Clinton of sexual assault, are standing up for Clinton rape accuser Juanita Broaddrick.

Willey and Jones are demanding that NBC News Anchor Andrea Mitchell issue a public apology for baselessly calling Broaddrick "discredited" during a segment that aired May 19 on the highly-rated Today Show.

Following a letter from Broaddrick's attorney demanding a retraction, NBC deleted the "discredited" referenced from the Internet version of Mitchell's report. But NBC has not fulfilled Broaddrick's request, which she says was communicated in the letter, for an apology from Mitchell on the Today Show, as well as an acknowledgement on the show and on NBC's website that there is no information indicating that Broaddrick's story is untrue.

Comment: Bill Clinton's sexual escapades and rape allegations extend way beyond Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey and Paula Jones.

The war on drugs: How it makes people eat faces, stab people to death

Flakka victims
© The Free Thought Project
The news that 19-year-old Florida State University student Austin Harrouff stabbed two strangers to death, and then proceeded to bite chunks of a deceased victim's face off, seems too bizarre to believe - unless you've heard of the drug flakka.

When police arrived, "It was an impossible task to get him off of the victim." A Taser had no effect, nor did a police dog. It took multiple cops and several minutes of fighting with "every bit of strength" to pry Harrouff, who was a football player and wrestler, from the face-eating bear hug he had on the dead man.

Harrouff was making "animal-like" noises when he was transported to the hospital, and could die of "sustained trauma" from officers or a drug overdose. Toxicology reports will confirm whether flakka was in his system, but Martin County Sheriff William Snyder says he would not be surprised.
"When you see a case like this where someone is biting off pieces of somebody's face, could it be flakka?" Snyder said. "The answer is it absolutely could be a flakka case."
Flakka, a synthetic drug similar to bath salts, has taken off in popularity in South Florida over the past few years. It causes delirium and the feeling of superhuman strength, and is known to cause extremely bizarre behavior - including a 17-year-old girl "running down a street naked, covered in blood and screaming, "I am God! I am Satan!"

Shootout in Chicago: Cops release footage of carjacker take-down

Chicago PD shootout

Chicago police have released video of a shootout with a carjacking suspect, in which one officer was injured. The swiftly released footage comes shortly after the controversial death of black teenager Paul O'Neal, also during a stolen car chase.

Dashboard camera footage, released Wednesday, shows the Tuesday evening pursuit of a stolen vehicle in the southern suburb of Roseland. At one point, the driver of the stolen SUV points a gun out of the window and fires at the police cruiser several times. One of the pursuing officers was grazed by a bullet to the head, and can be heard yelling in the video.

"These police officers face this kind of thing every single day," Superintendent Eddie Johnson told reporters at the police headquarters Wednesday. The suspect in the case is "the perfect example of what we've been saying. The same guys committing the same crimes over and over again," Johnson said."This guy doesn't believe we're serious. Law enforcement is being scrutinized all over the country for everything they do but they didn't run away from this, they ran to it."

French official advises Muslims to practice 'discretion'; Twitter riducule ensues

Sorry. Not discreet enough.
A French official who said "the advice I give [to Muslims] in these difficult times...is that of discretion" has prompted ridicule online. The official is running to be the head of a government body tackling Muslim matters.

Most people resorted to jokes to show the authorities how absurd they felt the statement was, and the hashtag #MusulmanDiscret (the Discreet Muslim) started trending on Twitter.

Comment: Sounds like Chevènement wants Muslims to be so discreet that they disappear, never to disturb the delicate sensibilities of so-called civilized people ever again.
