The staff found a little female dog dead at the centre of the camp, covered with a blanket. The little dog had obvious signs of a brutal rape on her genitals, but no other external trauma.
The body of the dog was transferred to the Stray Animal Care Interdisciplinary Center of Athens in order to be medically examined and to determine the exact cause of the animal's death.
According to Zoosos, the head of the refugee camp of Skaramagka, Mr. Giorgos Karoglou, has confirmed this incident.

Areport from NBC News admitted that “there’s no indication that Pitts could have carried off any attack on his own.”
Demetrius Pitts, 48, is now facing criminal charges after conversations with undercover agents led to his arrest. According to the criminal complaint against Pitts, the FBI claimed that its agents reached out to him because he made comments on Facebook that indicated he may be interested in joining al-Qaeda, traveling overseas for training, and then returning to the U.S. to carry out an attack.
While it is not clear what the comments from Pitts-who was reportedly using a Facebook account with a different name-stated exactly, it is clear that there was no indication he actually planned on carrying out a terrorist attack. In fact, a report from NBC News admitted that "there's no indication that Pitts could have carried off any attack on his own."
FBI Special Agent in Charge Stephen Anthony justified the contact by insisting that instead of waiting to see if Pitts ever joined al-Qaeda and traveled overseas for training, agents were completely justified in reaching out to Pitt and trying to convince him to carry out an attack now.
In the latest Harvard/Harris Poll, about 48 percent of Americans say increased illegal immigration to the U.S. reduces wages for workers, agreeing with decades of data that indicates mass immigration's crushing impact on Americans' wages.
Only 10 percent of Americans say illegal immigration increases U.S. wages while 42 percent say illegal immigration doesn't impact wages.
Savannah Hill, 21, was killed last month after it was reported that she was driving a vehicle that struck an officer during a traffic stop, while police were attempting to arrest Mason Farris, 19, who was in the car with her.
Farris was dating Hill's friend, Nicole Helling, and now friends and family are claiming that the two women were caught between a rock and a hard place when they were confronted by officers who were chasing Farris and threatened with arrest if they did not attempt to help police nab Farris and other known drug dealers.
The two knew Farris would flee if police attempted to arrest him so they crafted a plan to help police take him into custody. At a local gas station, Hill called 911 and told dispatch she would help police arrest Farris. She said she would get him into the back seat of her car, where the child safety locks would prevent him from getting out of the car and fleeing on foot. But she insisted the police wait and pull them over after they exited the gas station and got onto the road.
Father-of-five Abdul Rauf, 51, admitted on Monday to two charges of causing actual bodily harm against two children aged 10 and 12, as well as 19 assaults on unidentified children.
Some 40 hours of footage analyzed by Greater Manchester Police officers show "consistent assaults" at the hands of the imam in a mosque on Crawford Street.
The British military which has inserted itself into Syria illegally and against the wishes of its internationally recognized government bombed and killed the soldiers of said government as reported by The Sunday Times citing a spokesman for the British Defence Ministry.
The British Defence Ministry says a British Eurofighter jet dropped a 250 kilogram bomb on Syrian troops when a desert battle erupted near the British-American-rebel base in Al-Tanf in Syria:
Yet any honest research into the situation in Syria gives us ample evidence that the conspiracy theorists are right. In April, seventeen witnesses to the alleged chemical attack from earlier that month testified they hadn't been attacked with sarin. This version of events is supported by the story from famed reporter Robert Fisk, who interviewed witnesses to the incident that stated no gas attack had taken place. Additionally, the White Helmets have shown in their own clips and photographs that while handling victims of the "chemical attack," they didn't use any of the necessary gear for protecting themselves from sarin exposure.
The case for Assad's guilt, meanwhile, so far rests only on dubious statements from Western institutions and leaders, and from the very big logical stretch that Assad had a good strategic reason to gas civilians in his own territory while he was already winning the war. So has been roughly the case for the supposed chemical attacks from Assad in 2017, 2014, and 2013: in all of these instances, the evidence has gone overwhelmingly against the official narrative. But the existence of the war machine requires that the official narrative is believed, so dissent has been marginalized as much as possible.
Forensic officers were stunned when they pulled the woman out of the fridge and discovered that was still breathing.
She had been wrongly pronounced dead by paramedics following the crash, which was thought to have killed three people, on a road near Johannesburg, South Africa.
The woman, who suffered severe head injuries, is now in hospital as investigators try to figure out how paramedics made the mistake.

Dennis Prager, as I mentioned in my earlier column, has been describing the current cultural standoff as a "nonviolent civil war" for some time now, often adding that he fervently prays that it will stay that way. And that is why it was incredibly jarring to hear two mainstream figures on the Left chatting about the logistics of a civil war on TV this weekend as if such a thing were not only possible, but likely. It began with a conversation between HBO host Bill Maher and filmmaker Michael Moore, discussing the resignation of Justice Anthony Kennedy-an event that Maher compared to "1940, when France fell, it was like 70 AD when the Temple in Jerusalem fell, you know, that's how it felt."

Arthur Jones, a Holocaust denier who will appear on the November ballot as the GOP candidate against Democratic Rep. Dan Lipinski, has become campaign fodder for Democrats.
Arthur Jones, a Holocaust denier who will appear on the November ballot as the GOP candidate against Democratic Rep. Dan Lipinski, has become campaign fodder for Democrats as they seek to defeat Gov. Bruce Rauner. And some Republicans even fear the taint from Jones' extremist views poses a threat to the party up and down the ticket.
"First, it's morally wrong and I think it's really harmful to the party. The guy's a complete nutcase. He's a Nazi," said conservative GOP state Rep. David McSweeney. "This is an absolute political disaster."
McSweeney's comments come just days after the filing deadline passed for qualifying a third-party candidate for the general election - which could have provided a safe harbor for Illinois Republican votes. Prior to that, the party had also failed to recruit a candidate to challenge Jones in the primary election, failed to knock him off the primary ballot and wasn't able to field a write-in candidate against him in the primary.
Running a third-party candidate against Jones in November was among the options left to Illinois Republicans after Jones clinched the GOP nomination by running unopposed. But the deadline came and went this week and that didn't happen either.
Comment: No doubt the DNC will find this congressional race useful in their efforts to counter the growing disaffection for the Democratic Party:
