Speaking with Bild, Maria W., a 26-year-old cabin crew employee whose full name has not been released to the press, described Lubitz as "tormented" and secretive.
Maria recalled that when she heard about the crash, she remembered how Lubitz had said he would do something one day "that would change the system" so "everyone will then know my name and remember me."
"I did not know what he meant by that at the time, but now it's clear," she told the newspaper. Maria said Lubitz, 27, sometimes woke up at night screaming, "We're going down!" in terror.
Dusseldorf prosecutors said Friday that police discovered in Lubitz's home a torn sick note covering the date of the crashed Germanwings flight. They believe he could have been concealing his medical condition from the airline. It wasn't specified what prompted Lubutz's doctor to issue him with a medical certificate, however.
Comment: Additional punishment: 20 raps on the knuckles with the headmaster's ruler. Kiev is doing a great job showing just what a joke of a 'country' it has become. Thought police? Give us a break!
The Kiev Court of Appeals refused to change the sentence of the leader of the opposition Workers' Party of Ukraine, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper The Working Class, People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of III and IV convocations, Alexander Bondarchuk.
The politician and journalist was arrested on March 18 under paragraph 1, article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Violation of territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine" for publishing of two articles in his newspaper that the SBU considered a threat to the territorial integrity of Ukraine. To support the defendant came his fellow party members, leaders of PSPU (Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine), Natalia Vitrenko and Vladimir Marchenko, as well as activists of the Communist party, of which previously Bondarchuk was a member.
At the moment we were no able to find the materials in question in open sources, for distribution of which the editor of the Working Class is blamed, because the site is blocked. At the same time, the lawyer of the opposition activist quoted the expert's conclusion on the basis of which the SBU investigator requested the arrest.
The victims, including two children, ignored warnings and refused to back away.
An overturned tank filled with 60,000 liters (15,850 gallons) of fuel crashed on a road in southern Mexico between Villahermosa and Coatzacoalcos, Mexican officials said Saturday.
Residents flocked to the crash site, attempting to collect the spilled gasoline. Local authorities issued an explosion warning, urging people to stay away from the crash site - but to no avail.

— Natasha Pace (@NatashaPace) March 29, 2015"An aircraft made a poor landing," airport spokesman Peter Spurway was quoted as saying by The Chronicle Herald. The crash took place at 12:30 a.m. local time (4:30 a.m. GMT).
Comment: The crash coincided with a sudden power outage at the airport? Interestingly enough, recently there was a major power outage at Schiphol Airport
It's a brilliant visual reminder that what's at stake when we talk about the dangers of fracking isn't dollars and cents, but something much simpler: Security in knowing that one of the most basic necessities of life, access to clean drinking water, is safe from harmful pollutants.
Nebraskan James Osborne appeared at the hearing to discuss an oil company's application to ship out-of-state fracking wastewater into Nebraska to be dumped into a "disposal well" in Sioux County. According to a Fox Business report on the proposal, the waste would be coming from states like Wyoming and Colorado, but dumped in Nebraska because nobody else wants anything to do with it:
The commission heard 2½ hours of public comment Tuesday at its Sidney headquarters before convening a specific hearing on the proposal from Terex Energy Corp. The Broomfield, Colorado-based company wants to truck salty groundwater and chemical-laden fracking wastewater that result from oil searches and production in Wyoming, Colorado and, eventually, Nebraska, to a ranch north of Mitchell, Nebraska. As much as 10,000 barrels a day of the water would be injected into an old oil well on the ranch.
Israel intelligence was funneled to Republican Congresspeople in order to ruin support for Iran/U.S. nuclear negotiations, a recent report has found. The cables being used to send and receive information to and from the U.S. had been breached by the Israeli spies easily allowing them to steal then send back to members of Congress and is being seen as a direct sabotage attempt.
When asked about the breach in security Israeli officials denied everything, claiming they found the intelligence from other places."
Comment: This is what Israel does best. Uses whatever means possible to achieve its ends. Unfortunately, in this instance, there was no clear-cut legal violation for the Department of Justice to investigate, much less prosecute. The fact remains this is inexcusable. This was a deliberate attempt to subvert the authority of the United States, by a foreign government conspiring with Republican senators, over a policy that does not bow to the demands of warmonger, Benjamin Netanyahu. It is up to the American public to re-evaluate US unconditional support for Israel, remove the Israeli nose-ring from Congress and save itself another war.
Do bears crap in the woods?
The NY Post's controversial columnist John Crudele has thrown down the gauntlet, declaring that the market is rigged. And not only does everyone know it, but it is now being admitted.
The stock market is rigged.
When I started making that claim years ago — and provided solid evidence — people scoffed. Some called it a conspiracy theory, tinfoil hats and that sort of stuff. Most people just ignored me.
But that's not happening anymore. The dirty secret is out.
Ed Yardeni, a longtime Wall Street guru who isn't one of the clowns of the bunch, said flat out last week that the market was being propped up. "These markets are all rigged, and I don't say that critically. I just say that factually," he asserted on CNBC.
Yardeni's claim is the most basic one: that the Federal Reserve won't do anything that will upset Wall Street and, in fact, is doing all it can to help the stock market.
In the past few days, articles have been popping up around the web, providing explicit details about a "Kremlin troll army" which operates out of a Saint Petersburg suburb, a scary place where laughter is prohibited and 400 professional trolls toil day and night to convert public opinion in Russia and abroad.
There is only one problem with the article: there is no pro-Kremlin "trolling" taking place in the evidence the authors provide. While employees of these "troll farms" do allegedly make hundreds of political posts, they are made on local forums with tiny membership, rarely over 500 users, and even tinier posting activity at most, 5 posts per person, most of which appears to be from the "trolls."
Comment: War of words for your mind.
"I don't want government in my business. I want my freedom. I fought in the military for that freedom. And for all those women in the military who were raped — I see people laughing; I don't appreciate that on the other side. And it happens to be a man who's laughing," Fedor says in the video. "I don't know if it's about what I'm saying, but this is serious business right now, and I'm speaking for all the women in the state of Ohio who didn't get the opportunity to be in front of that committee and make this statement."
The person who allegedly laughed at Fedor has not been identified. She made her emotional confession on Wednesday, as the chamber debated House Bill 69. As Reuters reported, the measure passed in the Republican-controlled House in a 55-40 vote, sending it to the state Senate for approval.
Comment: Just goes to you show the moral state of American politicians. What kind of "man" would laugh at a rape victim? How about this kind.

Victims of the Narang night raid that killed at least 10 Afghan civilians, including eight schoolchildren.
The Nobel Prize-winning International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, along with Physicians for Social Responsibility and Physicians for Global Survival have released a report titled "Body Count: Casualty Figures after 10 Years of the 'War on Terror.'" The study examined direct and indirect deaths caused by more than a decade of US-led war in three countries, Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan, but did not include deaths in other countries attacked by American and allied military forces, including Yemen, Somalia, Libya and Syria.
The study noted that while the United States closely monitors casualty figures for allied troops—4,804 coalition deaths in Iraq; 3,485 in Afghanistan, the number of civilians and enemy combatants killed by US and allied forces is "officially ignored."
Comment: Even allied troop deaths are most likely highly sanitized.
The IPPNW investigation, which scoured the results of individual studies and data published by United Nations organizations, government agencies and non-governmental organizations, concluded the ongoing war "has, directly or indirectly, killed around 1 million people in Iraq, 220,000 in Afghanistan and 80,000 in Pakistan."
Comment: Freedom. Democracy. This is what they look like.

Comment: The argument above seems a bit convenient in its attempt to be unequivocally convincing. A better docudrama: The co-pilot was compromised, been made unconscious, the cockpit auto-security remotely triggered, the "clues" and "girlfriend" planted and the plane remotely crashed. The hospital statement doesn't confirm the numerous symptoms of psychosis that are listed, nor is there any statement from Germanwings to support this medical/psychiatric "theory." Perhaps there will be other corroboration forthcoming, but for the time being, the "facts" remain dubious at best. If not co-pilot suicide, what was the message 'to make everyone remember,' 'that would change the system?' Who from and to whom intended?
