What can we learn from the biggest lies people believed about Covid?

lies about covid
At the very beginning of the covid event in late 2019 to early 2020 the public had little to no information on the details surrounding the outbreak in Wuhan, China and what kind of virus the world might be facing. The virus was coming to western shores and so the public had to prepare for the potential consequences.

People were supposedly dying en masse in China, but the communist country refused to give accurate data on the situation and to this day their reported covid death rate is highly suspect. After a period of uncertainty, suddenly, there was a rush by the media and by government officials to predict the worst case scenario. The WHO was calling for a SARS-like death rate of at least 3% or more - That would mean a global tally of over 240 million+ fatalities.

For those of us in the Liberty Movement, this was seen as the "big one"; the kind of event that crashes economies and leads to an authoritarian society. It almost became that...

From the very beginning certain narratives being promoted in the mainstream did not meet logical or scientific standards. It became obvious that fear was the goal, rather than safety. But in order to create fear, establishment elites and governments had to LIE BIG. Here are some of the biggest lies told to the public about the pandemic:

Missouri opens investigation into St Louis Children's Hospital after gender clinician reveals abuses of 'trans kids'

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey
Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey on Friday announced an investigation into the allegations made by a former employee of St. Louis Children's Hospital's gender clinic, who accused the medical facility of prescribing hormones and invasive gender-transition surgeries to mentally disturbed minors and ignoring the rights of parents.

"I want Missouri to be the safest state in the nation for children. We have received disturbing allegations that individuals at the Transgender Center at St. Louis Children's Hospital have been harming hundreds of children each year, including by using experimental drugs on them," Bailey wrote on Twitter.

Amsterdam banning marijuana in red light district

The city of Amsterdam is banning the use of marijuana in their red light district to stem a growing problem with crime.

The Dutch capital attracts millions of tourists every year who revel in the country's "wholly liberal and tolerant" attitude towards prostitution, marijuana, truffles and pornography. Though it is technically against the country's laws to possess, produce, and/or deal drugs, the country has a "toleration policy" that allows local coffee shops to sell cannabis under strict conditions, BBC reported.

Those conditions are about to get stricter.

Barcelona cuts ties with twin city Tel Aviv over Israeli 'apartheid'

Pro-Palestine advocates 'salute' the decision while Israel supporters call it 'antisemitic'.

Barcelona will no longer be twinned with Tel Aviv due to Israel's "apartheid policy" towards Palestinians, the city's mayor announced on Wednesday.

Ada Colau said in a press conference that she wrote to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informing him relations between the Spanish city and Israel are severed until "Israeli authorities stop the systematic violation of human rights of the Palestinian people".

Comment: Whenever legitimate criticism of Israel comes to the fore, the only reaction is from the pro-Israel side is that it's "anti-semitic." It's disingenuous and completely predictable.

The future of Russia-India relations is sound, just ask the diplomats who know best

Senior figures from both countries gathered to mark a key anniversary in bilateral relations, and define future possibilities.

To mark the 30th anniversary of the landmark accord, and Russian Diplomats' day on February 10, RT reports from a bilateral event where the scope of burgeoning relations between Moscow and New Dehli was discussed by the very diplomats who are building the bridges.

Russia-India ties have perhaps never been as productive as they are now, despite global geopolitical turbulence. Moscow's close connections with New Dehli were established during the Soviet Union, and then bolstered by the India-Russia Friendship and Cooperation Treaty, signed in January 1993 during the visit of the then Russian President, Boris Yeltsin to the Asian country.

To mark the 30th anniversary of the landmark accord, and Russian Diplomats' day on February 10, RT reports from a bilateral event where the scope of burgeoning relations between the countries was discussed by the very diplomats who are building the bridges.

Comment: Despite all the sanctions, dark propaganda, and attempts by the West and especially the US to destroy Russia, she remains the only hope that humanity will come out of this dark tunnel as a much better, multipolar world based on equality and partnership instead of western imperialism.

Protests in England and Ireland against mass migration, migrants being hosted in local hotels

Protesters have reportedly thrown missiles and damaged a police vehicle at a rally against refugees in Merseyside on Friday.

Merseyside Police said officers in Prescot, Knowsley, were dealing with two groups of protesters after a demonstration descended into chaos outside the Suites Hotel.

Knowsley MP Sir George Howarth said the demonstration was triggered by "an alleged incident on social media" and criticised misinformation claiming refugees were "feather-bedded" inside.

The force said a protest and counter protest in Ribblers Lane was initially peaceful, but during the evening there have been reports of missiles being thrown.

Comment: Footage:

Refugees may not be 'feather-bedded' but citizens who are struggling to heat their homes and put food on the table are unlikely going to want to prioritise taking in economic refugees when their own livelihoods are rapidly collapsing. In just the last year, tens of thousands of migrants, mostly young men, arrived on UK shores; in just one day this year 1000 arrivals were recorded:

The above report is just one example, there have been others, and these protest are increasing in frequency: just 2 weeks ago a similar anti-mass migration protest occurred in Dublin:
Hundreds attended anti-immigration protests and pro-refugee counter rallies across Dublin on Saturday afternoon.

At St Stephen's Green, a solidarity rally organised by Le Chéile — a broad-base campaign promoting diversity in Irish society and tackling the far-right — chanted various messages of support for migrants and asylum-seekers.

They chanted 'various messages' of support; did any of these chants involve invitations to host these migrants at their own homes?

Protestors carrying placards with various anti-immigration slogans gathered on the other side of the road, in front of the Shelbourne Hotel, part of a so-called 'Dublin Says No' rally.

People Before Profit member Owen McCormack, from Balbriggan, who was part of the counter rally, told The Irish Times that "targeting refugees is not a solution".

"We acknowledge that we face multiple crises in housing and health but directing that anger towards refugees is counterproductive," he said.

Indeed. The government is responsible for allowing it to happen.

"We also think we represent the vast majority of ordinary people in Ireland who are opposed to racism," he said. "People do not like the way in which refugee centres have been targeted and the way false stories are being spread on social media, that these people are a major risk."

It's not racist to be concerned about the already tangible consequences of mass migration.

Gavin Pepper, from Finglas, told The Irish Times that he was not far-right, and that migrants were being placed in working-class areas, and not the likes of Dalkey or Killiney.

"They're saying there's no housing and 200 modular homes are being built in Cavan for people from Ukraine. I support people coming from Ukraine, from the war, but people from Albania and Georgia are not fleeing war.

"Most people here are residents with kids, obviously there's a couple of people affiliated with the National Party or whatever, and they've their own views but this is a democracy, I'm allowed have my own views. I'm not going to be drowned out, they can have their say and I can have mine," he said

Attendees of the anti-immigration rally eventually left the Stephen's Green area, marching on to the Mansion House and the GPO.

Welcome rallies were also held in Drimnagh and Clondalkin, calling for an end to hatred and racism.

People Before Profit Councillor Hazel De Nortúin said that problems with accommodation are not the fault of people arriving here.

Ukrainian officials and media reported a series of Russian drone and missile attacks targeting the country's critical infrastructure, on Friday. Several barrages reportedly caused power outages and disrupted train services.

The attacks are said to have started early in the morning, and air-raid warnings have since been activated all over the country. The Ukrainian Air Force command claimed it intercepted five kamikaze drones and five sea-launched Kalibr missiles.

Valery Zaluzhny, the commander-in-chief of Ukraine's armed forces, claimed that two Kalibr missiles fired from the Black Sea had crossed the airspace of Romania and Moldova. Moldova's defense ministry reported detecting a missile flying over its territory towards Ukraine, condemning the violation, but would not immediately blame Russia. However, its foreign ministry attributed the action to Moscow and said it would urgently summon the Russian ambassador.

Ex-FBI agent Nicole Parker: Bureau 'politically weaponized, starting from the top'

Former FBI Special Agent Nicole Parker testified to a House panel investigating the "weaponization" of the federal government that the bureau is plagued by "low morale," has become "politically weaponized," and has lowered its standards for new agents.

Parker's emotional testimony Thursday highlighted the first hearing by the new House Judiciary Committee's Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.

"Over the course of my 12-plus years of service, the FBI's trajectory transformed," said Parker.

"The FBI became politically weaponized, starting from the top in Washington [and] trickling down to the field offices," she alleged, saying that it felt "as if there became two FBIs."

UN condemns executions of Russian POWs by Ukrainians

The UN human rights watchdog is aware of a new graphic video purportedly showing the execution of Russian POWs by Ukrainians and has raised the issue with Kiev...

The UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is aware of recently-emerged footage apparently showing the execution of Russian soldiers who had surrendered by Ukrainian troops, a spokeswoman for the UN watchdog, Marta Hurtado, has said.
"We have raised concerns about the treatment of prisoners of war, including alleged killings of POWs by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, with Ukraine's Ministry of Defense."
The graphic video in question surfaced earlier this week, filmed by an armed individual speaking Ukrainian and demanding answers from three men in military uniforms lying on the ground. After failing to elicit a coherent response from them, the man shoots one of the men in the head multiple times at point blank range.

One of the men, lying motionless on the ground, also has visible blood around his head, apparently getting shot and killed before the video started. A fellow Ukrainian soldier appeared to try to reason with the gunman, pointing out that the third captive was holding a grenade. The killer briefly showed his face at the very end of the video, concluding it with an obscenity and 'Glory to Ukraine' slogan, which is commonly associated with World War II-era Nazi collaborators but is widely used in present-day Ukraine.
