French biathlon coach Simon Fourcade has said it is "counterproductive" to ban Russian and Belarusian athletes from international competition, explaining why he made a gesture of support at the Junior World Championships in America.

A member of the Russian team, Yuri Batmanov explained this week how Fourcade had glued a Russian flag onto one of the wax booths at the event Soldier Hollow back in February after Russian national symbols had been removed in the wake of a decision by the International Biathlon Union (IBU).

According to Batmanov, Fourcade had used a cut-up French flag and rearranged it into Russian colors before applying it to the wax cabin where equipment is treated. The image had been shared at the time by Russian team doctor Aishat Erkenova.

NYT painted Matt Gaetz as a child sex trafficker. One year later, he has not been charged

U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz
© Photo by Anna Moneymaker/Getty ImagesU.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) holds up a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray at a news conference at the Capitol Building on December 07, 2021 in Washington, DC.
On March 30 of last year, The New York Times published an article that was treated as a bombshell by the political class. Citing exclusively anonymous sources — "three people briefed on the matter" — the Paper of Record announced that Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) "is being investigated by the Justice Department over whether he had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old and paid for her to travel with him."

The headline chosen by Times editors was as inflammatory and provocative as possible: "Matt Gaetz Is Said to Face Justice Dept. Inquiry Over Sex With an Underage Girl." The paper, high up in the article, emphasized what grave crimes these were: "The Justice Department regularly prosecutes such cases, and offenders often receive severe sentences." The article was extremely light on any actual evidence regarding Gaetz, instead devoting paragraph after paragraph to guilt-by-association tactics regarding "a political ally of his, a local official in Florida named Joel Greenberg, who was indicted last summer on an array of charges, including sex trafficking of a child and financially supporting people in exchange for sex, at least one of whom was an underage girl."

Police have discovered five fetuses at the home of an anti-abortion activist in Washington DC.

DC police told WUSA9 that officers made the shocking discovery during a raid on a property in Capitol Hill on Wednesday afternoon, following a tip about potential bio-hazard material inside.

The property is the home of Lauren Handy, the founder of anti-abortion group Mercy Missions who was indicted that same day over an incident where she and other activists stormed an abortion clinic, knocking over an employee and blocking people from entering the facility.

Portland rioter who threw Molotov cocktails at police sentenced to 10 years in prison

Malik Muhammed
© Indianapolis Metropolitan PoliceMalik Muhammed was sentenced to 10 years in prison after he plead guilty to 14 felony charges related to the Portland rioting.
An Indiana man has been sentenced to ten years in prison for participating in a riot in Portland, Oregon in 2020 during which he threw Molotov cocktails at police officers.

Malik Muhammed pleaded guilty this week to 14 felony charges related to the Portland rioting and will have to pay $200,000 in restitution along with serving 10 years in prison, according to a statement from Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt.

"On September 5, 2020, Muhammed constructed multiple Molotov cocktails. He then brought those explosive devices, along with baseball bats, to a planned protest event that evening at the East Portland Police Precinct Building," Schmidt's statement said. "During the event, Muhammed handed out the bats and threw multiple explosive devices in the direction of police officers. One of those devices landed short and caused a fiery explosion which engulfed a fellow protester in flames, causing severe injuries to that person's legs."

The media avoided the ties between Joe Biden and Hunter's laptop

hunter biden
Eighteen months after the New York Post broke the Hunter Biden laptop story, the Washington Post validated its findings.
Wonders never cease. First the New York Times. Then CNN. Now the Washington Post has caught up with the Hunter Biden laptop story — only 18 months after the New York Post broke the scandal, and too late for the 2020 election.

But now, after our story was censored by Big Tech and dismissed as "Russian disinformation" by Democratic prevaricator Adam Schiff, and 51 former spooks led by former CIA Director John Brennan, apparently it's safe to admit the laptop is real and the emails we published can be easily authenticated.

Of course, they all avoid the inevitable conclusion to be drawn from evidence contained on the laptop that the president's drug-addled son Hunter abandoned at a MacBook repair shop in Delaware in April 2019: that Joe Biden, when he was vice president, was aware of, and intimately involved in, a corrupt, multimillion-dollar, international influence-peddling scheme run by Hunter, and Joe's brother Jim Biden, in the countries for which Joe was point man in the Obama administration, such as Russia, Ukraine and China.

Best of the Web: US veteran who volunteered to fight for Ukraine describes 'suicide mission'

ukraine military
An American volunteer for Ukraine tells The Grayzone how his foreign legion tried to use him as cannon fodder.
A decade after Henry Hoeft joined the US Army at age 18, he was back on the battlefield, but this time as a volunteer for a foreign military engaged in a proxy war against a powerful foe. After answering the Ukrainian government's call for foreign fighters this February, however, the American veteran quickly decided he was being sent on a "suicide mission" against the Russian military.

After escaping with his life, claiming his own allies had threatened to shoot him in the back, Hoeft posted a viral message advising other Westerners against joining the fight in Ukraine. Within days, he was at the center of a global information war, with the military for which he had volunteered publicly branding him a Russian agent.

Best of the Web: White House: 'Early' trans surgeries, hormones are 'crucial' for kids, teens who identify as trans

"Early" transgender surgeries, hormone treatment, and affirmations are "crucial" for the health of kids and teens who identify as transgender and nonbinary, President Joe Biden's administration said in messaging released Thursday.

The White House flagged a resource from the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health on "Transgender Day of Visibility" intended to "inform parents and guardians, educators, and other persons supporting children and adolescents with information on what is gender-affirming care and why it is important to transgender, nonbinary, and other gender expansive young people's well-being."

Gender-affirming care is a phrase used by transgender activists and media to mask the more grisly sounding transgender top and bottom surgeries, including removing a biological women's breasts, removing a biological man's genitals, sculpting a fake penis on a biological woman, facial feminization or facial masculinization, and more.

Comment: The pushing of the trans agenda is ruining countless lives feeding on vulnerable children and young adults. The fact that the White House is encouraging this, while unsurprising, is an egregious crime against the youth. Every one of the people pushing this should be held accountable.

Maxine Waters tells homeless people to 'go home,' tries to intimidate reporter covering the story

maxine waters
Rep. Maxine Waters told a group of homeless people to "go home," dropped an f-bomb, and then tried to intimidate a reporter out of writing a story about it.

Last week, a group of homeless people were misled by social media rumors and showed up at an event by the organization Fathers and Mothers Who Care. Hundreds of people arrived believing that the organization was handing out Section 8 housing vouchers.

Comment: Telling homeless people gathering for housing vouchers to "go home." Maxine Waters is crazy.

Western MSM news is getting men, women and children killed in Ukraine

western news media 1
The coverage of the Ukraine conflict across the western mainstream is totally one-sided, however, this is only one aspect of the way it has been responsible for getting more people killed than would be the case without this coverage.

By a completely partial rendering of events in Ukraine western mainstream media news creates a false picture that, if enough people believe it, will lead to the combat continuing far longer than it properly should.

One aspect of this deeply irresponsible behaviour is that it leads to a false sense of confidence that Kiev regime forces are winning against the Russian forces. This could lead outsiders to this conflict involving themselves directly and, due to their lack of training, getting themselves killed. The emotional impact, purposefully selected by television news channels seeks to generate such impulses along with others regarding fundraising for the regime.

The amount of bias involved is massive, along with misinformed speculation, assertion and demonisation of one side over the other. Wishful thinking and attitudes based on a lack of historical knowledge of this conflict stretching back over a decade leads to an entire series of mis-statements and constant misrepresentation.

Sri Lanka Turns Off Street Lights As Energy Crisis Worsens; Fishermen Unable To Sail For Lack Of Fuel

Sri Lanka
Tiny Sri Lanka is struggling through an economic crisis that is having terrible repercussions for its economy, as a brutal energy crisis threatens to blossom into shortages of food and other essential goods.

Thanks to an energy crisis (and China's reluctance to allow the country to restructure its debts), Sri Lanka is resorting to turning off its street lights to save electricity as its worst economic crisis in decades bites, forcing - among other cutbacks - the temporary closure of the local stock market as the impact of the crisis is felt (the Colombo Stock Exchange reduced daily trading to two hours from the usual four-and-a-half because of the power cuts for the rest of this week at the request of brokers).

Comment: This is how the most of the world will look like soon thanks to a greedy psychopathic elites.
