Yet another fake Bin Laden story from the Navy SEAL who claims to have killed him

bin laden,dead
© twitpicAn image purporting to show Osama bin Laden's bloody corpse, right, is a composite of two separate images, left and centre.
RT, one of my favorite news sources, has fallen for a fake story put out by the Pentagon to support the fantasy story that a SEAL team killed Osama bin Laden, who died a second time in Abbottabad, Pakistan, a decade after his first death from illness and disease.

This fake story together with the fake movie and the fake book by an alleged SEAL team member is the way the fake story of bin Laden's murder is perpetrated. Bin Laden's alleged demise at the hands of a SEAL team was a propaganda orchestration, the purpose of which was to give Obama a hero's laurels and deep six Democratic talk of challenging his nomination for a second term.

Thousands of student protesters in Athens have tried to breach the barricades in front of the parliament building facing a large security presence from police, demonstrations once again engulfed the Greek capital.

Up to 4,000 students, university staff and teachers from a number of educational institutions including the University of Athens took to the streets in Athens on Thursday, to protest against cuts in the educational sector as well as increased anti-protest security measures across educational institutions.

The protesters reject the government plans in the "new school" bill, which wants to introduce changes to the exam system, merge schools, and cut the number of teachers. According to the Greek Reporter since Monday some 500 secondary schools across the country have been occupied by protest sit-ins.

Protesters were chanting slogans and carrying banners to send a clear message of defiance to the Education Minister Andreas Loverdos' who recently announced stricter security measures against such sit-ins. On Tuesday, Supreme Court prosecutor Efterpi Koutzamani asked for officials to act to ensure that public schools are not damaged during student occupations.

Elite A**holes: Harvard University offers students 'Anal Sex 101' class

Image
Samantha Power - one of many Harvard a**holes
Harvard University is renowned the world over for the Ivy League education its students are offered, and the curriculum there this week indeed contains a class or two you'd be hard press to find elsewhere.

As part of its annual Sex Week, "a week of programming that is interdisciplinary, thought-provoking, scholastic, innovative and applicable to student experiences in order to promote a holistic understanding of sex and sexuality," a student-run group at the school will be hosting classes that contrast quite sharply with the comparably run-of-the-mill offerings a Harvard education typically involves.

Starting this Monday, Sex Week attendees can sit-in on events that range from a sexual health career panel on Tuesday evening, to a class offered that afternoon called "What's What in the Butt: Anal Sex 101."

Donbass election day ushers in 'the real ceasefire' though residents believe it will be short-lived

Donetsk elections
© RIA Novosti/Alexey KudenkoDonetsk residents cast their votes at Polling Station No. 137 during the elections for the head and the People's Council of the Donetsk People's Republic.

Comment: The elections held in war-weary Donbass are a testament to their commitment to the right to self-government. At the moment they are worried mostly about day-today survival. With the support of Russia and other right-thinking countries, they may get the breathing space they need to generate new ideas on how to go about it.

Kiev refuses to recognize the elections in eastern Urkaine - but has not provoked any hostilities either.

The Donbass elections resulted in a predictable outcome, bringing victory to Alexander Zakharchenko, head of the Oplot battalion, who scooped more than 70 percent of the votes. Turnout varied from 65 percent to 100 percent at 350 polling stations, where 1,148,000 people had registered to vote.

This election has been surprising in two ways.

Military loses contact with F-16 fighter jet that was flying over Florida Gulf Coast

An F-16 Fighting Falcon, similar to this one, was reported missing in the Gulf of Mexico south of Panama City, Fla., on Thursday
The Coast Guard and Air Force are searching the Gulf of Mexico off Panama City, Fla., for an F-16 Falcon fighter jet that officials believed crashed Thursday morning. The jet was assigned to the 53rd Weapons Evaluations Group, at Tyndall Air Force Base near Panama City, the Air Force said.

The Air Force lost contact with the pilot about 9:15 a.m., according to a press release. Only one person was on board, the Coast Guard said.

"The rescue of our airman is our top priority," said Col. Mark O'Laughlin, vice commander of the 325th Fighter Wing at Tyndall.

The Coast Guard sent boats and aircraft to search an area 57 miles south of Panama City, according to a news release. The Gulf of Mexico contains large swaths of airspace, or ranges, that the military uses for aerial combat training.

Comment: One has to wonder, what is causing all these flight-related disturbances over the last few months?

Idiot Brits parade and then burn Vladimir Putin bonfire effigies

An effigy of Russian President Vladimir Putin is paraded through the town of Lewes in East Sussex
Two effigies of Russian president - one of which shows Mr Putin standing astride Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 - draw ire of Russian social media users

Images of two Bonfire Night effigies of Vladimir Putin in a "mankini" on a tank and astride a model of the Malaysian jet allegedly shot down over Ukraine have stirred passions on social media.

The effigies of the Russian president - each several yards high - were towed through the streets of Lewes in Sussex, on Wednesday as part of the town's annual extravaganza to mark the anniversary of Guy Fawkes's Gunpowder Plot.

Comment: It's really not surprising that this pathetic and ignorant display occurred in the UK, a nation with far too many ignorant racists.

The same village idiots burned effigies of SNP leader Alex Salmond also.

Brussels hit by protests over government austerity plans, clashes with police

Belgian Police
© ReutersBelgian police and a few hundred protesters, including many dockers, clashed in central Brussels on Thursday after a largely peaceful march against reforms and austerity measures of the country’s new government
Belgian police used water cannons and tear gas on protesters on the fringes of a march against austerity plans set out by the country's new government, with dozens of riot police deployed Thursday near the capital's Midi Station, the main hub for international rail journeys.

Prime Minister Charles Michel and his cabinet were due to meet unions leading the protests in the late afternoon.

A right-leaning four-party coalition government took office earlier this month and announced plans to raise the pension age to 67 from 2030, as well as delaying the next wage increase under the country's system of wage indexation, which links salary increases to inflation.

The FGTB, one of Belgium's biggest trade unions, said 120,000 protesters took part in the march through Brussels. "Employers have been handed a blank check by the government, without guaranteeing to create jobs," the FGTB said in a statement on its website. "The message is clear - no to an antisocial, unbalanced and unfair government plan which will rob us."

Tens of thousands protest against austerity in Athens

greek protest november 2014
The protest rally of the Greek Communist Party labor organization PAME was deemed a success as the organizers claim that an estimated 20,000 people filled Syntagma Square in Athens, Greece, on Saturday noon
Thousands of people demonstrated against the Greek government's austerity policies in the center of Athens on Saturday. They also called for political and economic reforms, pay rises, and other social benefits.

The protesters gathered at the landmark Syntagma Square, located just outside Greek parliament, and marched through the center of the city carrying anti-EU and anti-austerity banners.

The march was organized by the All Workers Militant Front (PAME), a coordination center for the Greek trade union movement, which is closely connected to the Communist party. Aside from rejecting austerity measures, the group calls for a 751 euro (US$940) minimum monthly salary, 600 euro ($751) unemployment benefit, free healthcare, the return of Christmas, Easter and summer bonuses, and the abolition of the single property tax (ENFIA), as well as other extra taxes that eat up family income.

Healthy Texas girl confiscated from parents who smoked pot, given to murderous foster mother

Round Rock - A little girl was confiscated from her loving parents because they smoked marijuana, and given away to a foster mother who put her into a coma and killed her. Alexandria "Alex" Hill, age 2, succumbed to her injuries after being "thrown to the ground."

"We never hurt our daughter. She was never sick, she was never in the hospital, and she never had any issues until she went into state care," said the girl's father, Joshua Hill, to KVUE.

Alex was seized by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Service (TDFPS) after her parents were accused of smoking marijuana while the girl slept. She was taken into state custody in November 2012.

Mr. Hill said that she was put into more than one dangerous foster home.

"She would come to visitation with bruises on her, and mold and mildew in her bag," Mr. Hill told KVUE. "It got to a point where I actually told CPS that they would have to have me arrested because I wouldn't let her go back."

The girl's final home was with Sherill Small, a foster care contractor in Rockdale, Texas. The TDFPS trusted Ms. Small enough to take custody of multiple children displaced by the agency.

Merde! Protesting French farmers dump 100 tons of manure at government buildings

Dumping some 100 tons of manure and rotten vegetables in Chartres was part of a wave of protest by French farmers, who are angry with overregulation, sluggish economy and lack of protectionism.

France was gripped by a series of protests on Tuesday and Wednesday, with an estimated 36,000 people participating. The dumping of manure in front of a local administration building in Chartres in northern France was mirrored by similar action in the central city of Tours, western Nantes and Toulouse in the southwest.

"Manure, we can't spread it any more. You can have it, help yourselves," one of the slogans said.

This year France has started enforcing a 1991 EU directive aimed at curbing nitrate pollution, which forced tens of thousands of farms that previously used manure as fertilizers to undergo costly infrastructure upgrades to comply.

In Dijon, farmers burnt an effigy of French Ecology Minister Segolene Royal.

In other parts of the country farmers organized by two of France's main farming unions, the FNSEA and Jeunes Agriculteurs (Young Farmers) resorted to less dramatic ways to vent off their anger.

Parisians who happened to be near at Place de la République on Wednesday could get some of 60 tons of potatoes and 20 tons of onions, apples and pears grown in the region and dumped on the streets by protesting farmers.

"This is a symbolic action. Often farmers don't harvest their produce because it costs too much and isn't worth it, so it goes to waste. Instead of doing that we decided to give it to the Parisians to help get our message across," Cyrille Milard, a farmer from the Seine et Marne department who participated in the protest, told the Local.
