The official findings, considered a nonpartisan exercise of congressional oversight, discovered that the Navy's surface warfare forces have systemic training and leadership issues, including an intense focus on diversity that eclipses basic readiness skills. The authors of the review conducted long-form interviews with 77 active-duty, retired or detached officers, and enlisted personnel about insights into the culture of the United States Navy following a series of high-profile and damaging operational failures in the Navy's surface warfare community.
A staggering 94 percent of the subjects believed the recent Naval disasters were part of a broader, internal problem. "I guarantee you every unit in the Navy is up to speed on their diversity training. I'm sorry that I can't say the same of their ship handling training," said one retired senior enlisted leader. Other interviewed participants also voiced concern that the Navy spends more time on diversity training than on developing warfighting capacity and key operational skills.

Actor Mel Gibson arrives at T-Mobile Arena during the UFC 264 event on July 10, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada
Mel Gibson, the movie star and Academy Award-winning director, has long been a lightning rod for his problematic behavior and beliefs. But, over the weekend, he finally crossed the line and committed the most egregious of mortal sins in the New Hollywood: he saluted Donald Trump.
For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, let me fill you in. On Saturday, Trump attended the Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed-martial arts event, aka UFC 264, in Las Vegas. As he entered the arena, Gibson happened to be nearby and gave the former president a salute.
Witnesses told Toledo Police that a lightning strike destroyed the mural, and doppler radar shows a strike hit at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday near where the mural was painted.
Photos of the destruction show part of the brick wall reduced to rubble, with fragments of mural still remaining on the wall along its border.
The piece, titled "Take a Breath," was created by local artist David Ross about one year ago in honor of Floyd, who was murdered in Minneapolis last Memorial Day by police officer Derek Chauvin.
In a statement to Reuters on Tuesday, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) said it was looking at data concerning the safety of the J&J Covid-19 vaccine. The "EMA's safety committee (PRAC) is analyzing data provided by [J&J]... on cases of Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) reported following vaccination," it stated.
The medicines agency did not provide any details as to whether it had observed potential cases of GBS, but added that its review was part of regular summary safety reports.
On Monday, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) added a GBS warning to the fact sheet for the J&J vaccine, which has already been investigated for links to potentially fatal blood clotting.
Comment: When it comes to Astrazeneca and J&J, mainstream news is quick to report isues but silent on the numerous problems with the Moderna and Pfizer ones (i.e. mRNA 'vaccines').

Actor Rob Schneider poses at a premiere for the Netflix original film ‘Sandy Wexler’ in Los Angeles, California, US. April 6, 2017.
On Saturday, Schneider fumed over the news that Pfizer wanted to introduce a new Covid-19 booster shot, making full vaccination against the virus a three-dose procedure. On Twitter, the comedian urged his followers to "just say no" to the vaccine.
"Over Half of the US population is continuing to say no to this unapproved experimental gene therapy! 'My body, my choice!' #2ndAmendmentIsForThis," he wrote.
Comment: There's nothing overtly controversial about Schneider's comments, while some of the responses seem disingenuous. Calling for people to stand up against coercion and mandatory medical procedures was, at least at one time, something most Americans would agree with.

Speaking as part of an interview with a news program broadcast on YouTube on Tuesday, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova explained that the Russian government had issued a protest to Washington over the incident, which took place last spring.
The Foreign Ministry had announced the day before that the authorities had evidence confirming that an employee of the US diplomatic mission in Moscow was behind the theft of a railway pointer signal from a junction outside a station in Ostashkov, near the Central Russian city of Tver. A video clip, made exclusively available to RT, shows the man alleged to be an American diplomat snapping off the indicator. Officials say it was a vital piece of infrastructure and its removal threatened the lives of train passengers.
Tuesday's report from the Labor Department showed that consumer prices in June rose 0.9% from May and 5.4% over the past year — the sharpest 12-month inflation spike since August 2008. Excluding volatile oil and gas prices, so-called core inflation rose 4.5% in the past year, the largest increase since November 1991.
The pickup in inflation, which has coincided with the economy's rapid recovery from the pandemic recession, will likely intensify a debate at the Federal Reserve and between the Biden administration and congressional Republicans about how persistent the accelerating price increases will prove to be.
The Fed and the White House have made clear their belief that the current bout of inflation will prove temporary. As supply chain bottlenecks are resolved and the economy returns to normal, they suggest, the price spikes for such items as used cars, hotel rooms and clothing will fade. Some economists, along with Wall Street investors, have indicated that they agree.

The issue came to a head in late May and early June, when in the space of a month, three activists were gunned down in separate incidents.
President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, took office Dec. 1, 2018, had promised to protect journalists, but critics have questioned whether the government is doing enough.
The Interior Department said Monday that 1,478 activists and journalists are currently receiving government protection, but nine of those killed were in that protection program.
Many of the killings are believed to have been ordered by drug cartels, people with crooked businesses or corrupt officials, but relatively few of the cases have been solved.
While face masks will be optional outdoors, they will be mandatory indoors, according to California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
"K-12 students are required to mask indoors, with exemptions per CDPH face mask guidance. Adults in K-12 school settings are required to mask when sharing indoor spaces with students," according to the department. "Persons exempted from wearing a face covering due to a medical condition, must wear a non-restrictive alternative, such as a face shield with a drape on the bottom edge, as long as their condition permits it.
Comment: Parental instincts to protect children have been subverted by propaganda and turned into it's opposite.

In videos published on social media, the fight can be seen to break out near a Metro station late on Monday night. Moscow news agency Interfax, citing a source, reported that the scrap mainly involved migrant workers from Central Asia.

Comment: With the amount of 'wokeness' coming out of the military at this point, this report is not surprising. This is the consequence of an ideology infecting an institution - they completely lose their way.
