Society's Child
According to the official Facebook page of the movement, members of the Ukrainian neo-Nazi group arrived at the site of the festivities ten minutes after the event began, attacking the participants with pepper spray and 'zelyonka' - an antiseptic dye most famously used in 2017 against Moscow protest leader Alexey Navalny. Odessa's police department noted that members of the anti-LGBT group also threw eggs.
The organizers said that local police did not react quickly enough, but asked them to "prosecute the perpetrators" and take action against the right-wingers for "hatred and inciting violence." Sixteen people were arrested and charged with petty hooliganism and disobeying the orders of the police.
Last night we posted an article about COVID-19 - SHOCK REPORT: This Week CDC Quietly Updated COVID-19 Numbers - Only 9,210 Americans Died From COVID-19 Alone - Rest Had Different Other Serious Illnesses
The gist of the article is that COVID-19 is not nearly as deadly as first projected by the WHO and then by Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx. Based on CDC numbers this past week only 6% of all deaths attributed to COVID-19 were instances where the only factor in the individual's death was due to COVI9-19.

'He exercised his God-given, Constitutional, common law and statutory law right to self-defense.'
The attorneys representing Kyle Rittenhouse released a lengthy statement on Saturday defending the 17-year-old from the list of criminal charges against him.
Rittenhouse is accused of killing two protesters and wounding a third. The incident happened on Aug. 25, the third night of the Kenosha riots. Violence erupted in the southern Wisconsin city after police shot Jacob Blake, a black man, last Sunday.

Statue of John MacDonald is seen on the ground after it was pulled down during a protest against racial inequality, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada August 29, 2020 in this picture obtained from social media.
The incident occurred at the end of a peaceful march on Saturday when a group of people climbed the monument and pulled down the statue, causing the head to fly off, according to video posted on social media.
Calls to defund the police have been growing across the United States and Canada, after a spate of violent incidents involving police. The death of George Floyd, a Black man, while in the custody of Minneapolis police in May sparked global protests about racial inequality and police brutality, and renewed pledges from some to fight racism.

Brandon Straka is founder of the WalkAway Campaign, which lends a hand to Democrats who are ready to “walk away” from their party. The group is planning an “Unsilent March on Washington” in the fall.
Mr. Straka, founder of the #WalkAway movement, posted footage in which several Black Lives Matter protesters called him "f**got," threw a drink at him, spit at his friend Mike Harlow, and knocked the phone out of the hand of another friend as they left the White House event.
"Every LGBT person in America should be terrified by the direction we are headed in," Mr. Straka said in a Saturday post on Twitter. "#BLM has attacked numerous LGBT ppl this summer."
Comment: Meanwhile, Joy Ann Reid was busy tweeting hypocritical tweets condemning Straka's event 'because Covid' while encouraging BLM protests despite the same 'danger'.
Authorities in Portland, Ore. may be racist in the way they define "riot," according to National Public Radio.
The taxpayer-funded media outlet aired a report Thursday in which it claimed that state laws governing riot declarations "have roots in the state's racist history."
An accompanying article by Oregon Public Broadcasting's Jonathan Levinson linked to a June interview with Black studies educator and writer Walidah Imarisha, who claimed the state's historically racist laws "absolutely" echo through Oregon's current governance.

Sputnik presents a live broadcast from the British capital where demonstrators are rallying on Saturday against COVID-19 lockdown measures.
The so-called "Unite for Freedom" protest aims to push for easing the lockdown measures related to the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, such as the mandatory wearing of face masks, mobility restrictions, and obligatory vaccines.
Since the start of the outbreak, the UK has confirmed 331,644 COVID-19 cases. The latest government figures also show that the UK's death toll now stands at 41,486.
Comment: The Sun newspaper reports:
The 'Unite For Freedom' rally began at midday - with protesters calling for an end to "government lies" over the pandemic. As noted above, on the same day there was a massive protest against the lockdown in Berlin, Germany, and there were also protests under different banners, but voicing similar grievances, in Israel against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as well by the Yellow Vests in France.
Pictures show large crowds gathered in Trafalgar Square holding signs claiming that the virus is a "hoax" and a "scam".
Other placards read: "No to mandatory vaccines!"
Most of the defiant crowd refused to wear a mask during the protests.
The event is currently moving towards Downing Street and towards the Houses of Parliament.
Well-known conspiracy theorist David Icke - well known for his conspiracy theory linking the coronavirus to 5G technology- is currently addressing a large crowd.
In May, Icke had his YouTube account axed in May after repeated warnings from the company that he had violated its policies by posting misleading information about the pandemic
His address follows an earlier speech from Jeremy Corbyn's brother Piers.
A poster advertising the event read: "Nothing is more important as time is very short - the Government are voting for a two-year extension of their emergency Covid-19 powers in September 2020.
"The first six months was a disaster - this must not be allowed to continue! We have to take a stand."
It comes as similar 'Unite For Freedom' protests erupted across Europe today.
Berlin police today disbanded a mass protest in the German capital against coronavirus curbs, where marchers failed to keep their distance and wear masks as instructed.
"Unfortunately, we have no other option," the city's police said on Twitter, adding people had failed to comply with the safety conditions of the march.
Some 3,000 officers had been deployed to control crowds estimated at 18,000.
And in Paris, hundreds rallied to protest new mask rules and other restrictions prompted by rising virus infections around France.
Police watched closely but did not intervene in the event.
The protests drew an assorted crowd of anti-maskers, conspiracy theorists as well as "yellow vests" who formerly protested economic injustice.
The 'Unite for Freedom' group's priorities are listed as "no more lockdowns, no social distancing, no masks. No track and trace, no health passports. No mandatory vaccinations, no "new normal".
The march is part of several protests expected to take place across the world under the Unite for Freedom banner.
The contrarian Italian parliamentarian Vittorio Sgarbi, who is also the mayor of Sutri, has been a vocal critic of mask-wearing and other restrictions imposed by the Italian government to address the coronavirus.
Mr. Sgarbi announced Saturday that in Sutri "anyone found wearing a face mask without need will be fined," noting that there are no cases of coronavirus infection in the city.
"In compliance with the decree of the President of the Council of Ministers, the use of the mask outdoors in the City of Sutri is prohibited for obvious health reasons and indoors except in the case of assemblies," the city ordinance reads.
Comment: How about that, getting a fine FOR wearing a mask. Although people should be free to decide on their own if they want to wear a medical mask or not, Sgarbi's reasoning makes more sense than the current mandates.
First, the CDC released new guidelines saying there was no need for asymptomatic people to get tested if they were otherwise young and healthy. That's even if you were exposed to someone who had tested positive for the virus.
Then the CDC put up on their official website the following details for people who have covid symptoms:
"If you have symptoms of COVID-19 and want to get tested, call your healthcare provider first. Most people will have mild illness and can recover at home without medical care and may not need to be tested."So, yeah, the CDC is telling you to treat covid like any other illness. Stay home if you're sick, you'll probably be fine. That's because for most people covid is a mild illness. If, however, you get sick enough to need treatment, go seek treatment.
This is the advice we should have had since March. And in retrospect we should have never, ever shut down at all. (In fact, if New York governor Andrew Cuomo hadn't been the worst political leader this century, we probably wouldn't have ever panicked in the first place. New York was such a disaster that the rest of the country panicked based on their incompetence. An incompetence, by the way, that led to the worst coronavirus response in the entire world.)
But this was the final kicker that also went up on the CDC website:
"For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death."This illuminates what I have been saying for a long time, there's a big difference between dying WITH COVID and dying FROM COVID.
94% of people are dying with covid, per the CDC, not because of it. In fact, not only are people dying with it, they are dying with covid and an average of 2.6 additional conditions or causes of death.
This would mean roughly 10,000 deaths are directly attributable to covid alone.
Because right now if you have terminal lung cancer, kidney and liver failure and covid, you are counted as a covid death.
Now, this doesn't mean covid can't be dangerous, it can. But it's almost exclusively dangerous among those with extremely ill health, that is multiple serious co-morbidities, or extremely advanced age.
Now, to be fair, what we still don't know is what percentage of people who have died with covid in 2020 would otherwise be alive if this virus had never existed. That is, it's possible there are likely more than the roughly 10,000 people who are listed as dying from covid alone who have died with covid and another illness. Maybe if covid never existed those people could have survived their co-morbidities and might still be alive today. (Although this raises an interesting question, if covid was the tipping point illness for many very sick people with multiple co-morbidities, wouldn't the number of elderly people dying in later months this year and next year likely be lower than normal? Because those very ill people had their deaths accelerated by a few months due to covid? That seems likely to me.)
We don't the answer to this question and we can't just look at excess death data either because, and this is the really unfortunate part of our shutdown madness, there is now strong evidence that locking down our country cost us more years of life in this country than we gained.
This is according to the incredible work being done by the Ethical Skeptic Twitter account. (You should all go follow him for his charts and analysis of covid data).
Remember, the average age of death from covid in this country is older than the average age of death in this country overall. Meanwhile the people who are dying in excess numbers from something other than covid due to our lockdowns are much younger. These are much younger people dying of suicides, drug overdoses, from declining to seek medical care for fear of covid.
And this is a MONSTER story. A story which, not surprisingly, almost no one is telling.
We shut down our country to protect very old people from covid yet the deaths of much younger people from other causes are actually costing us more years of life, by far, than the years of life we are protecting. And this doesn't even count, by the way, all the disastrous impacts from children being kept out of school for months at a time. There's been a tremendous rise, for instance, in domestic abuse and, likely, child abuse during the lockdown as well. And it also doesn't count the very real economic costs of tens of millions of lost jobs, which will echo through poor families for years and years.
Let's just be clear here: outside of nursing homes — which comprise nearly half of our deaths in this country despite only having .6 of our population — there is zero reason for any lockdowns to still exist in this country.
Zero.
It's well past time for everyone to be back at work, school, and playing sports on all levels from little league to pro sports. And if you don't want to do that because the media has terrified you, that's your choice, you can stay in your house buried under the covers forever, but the rest of the us need to get on with our lives, you can't hold us hostage any longer.
Unfortunately this isn't happening because covid is now the entire basis for Joe Biden's presidential campaign. Meaning instead of these facts being debated and discussed in a rational manner, Biden has tied his entire campaign to stoking more fear based on the false idea that we're all in tremendous danger from the coronavirus.
Even if it's not true at all.
Worse than that, the media, which ostensibly exists to speak truth to power, has also completely embraced the fear porn narrative as well.
Which is why our national response to the coronavirus is the biggest failure of truth, logic, and honesty since the Vietnam War.
It's time for you, me, and everyone else with a functional brain to get back to our normal lives.
Which is exactly what I'm doing.
Join me.
