Israel mulls criminalizing criticism of armed forces - targets 'Breaking the Silence' organization

The controversial bill was first introduced in 2016 amid serious public debate over the legitimacy of left-wing groups operating in Israel, especially Breaking the Silence, an anti-occupation Israeli NGO that assembles reports about abuses by the regime's soldiers in the Palestinian territories.

Israel's parliament (Knesset) has adopted the first reading of a bill allowing Education Minister Naftali Bennett to ban organizations he considers critical of the military from entering schools.

Comment: Espionage or whistleblowing? It's all in the presentation. Breaking the Silence has brought to light not just IDF and IOF abuse of Palestinians, but given a voice to those who have overcome their brainwashing.

Rapes are soaring in Britain's multicultural capital under Labour Mayor Sadiq Khan - but police claim they have no idea what could be behind the increase.

7,613 rapes were recorded in Sadiq Khan's London in the 12 months to the end of January 2018, compared with 6,392 over the previous year - a rise of almost 20 per cent, the Evening Standard reports.

Some have attempted to attribute the rise to victims being more confident in coming forward, but Khan's Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime, Sophie Linden, has admitted that the figures could point to a legitimate "increase in actual sexual violence and rape offending".

Deputy Commissioner for the Metropolitan Police force Sir Craig Mackey, too, has confessed that "there is something going on with sexual offending in London" - but claimed to be none the wiser when asked at the London Assembly if he could explain what was behind the rise.

Comment: We'd need to see the offender statistics to know whether the incidence of rape is due to immigration, which surely does have an impact on crime, and the reporting of crime, however it's also likely to be a societal ill brought about by the degradation and descent within western society.

It should also be noted in the UK male victims reporting of sexual abuse has risen 300% in the past decade.

Three students who survived the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on February 14 by a former student that killed seventeen students and faculty were flown to Los Angeles last Thursday morning to tape an episode of the Ellen Show that aired on Friday.

The students barely had time to sleep a few winks before they were whisked from one TV set to another TV set across the country.

Comment: True to their nature, the MSM whisks these children from show to show 'Hunger Games style' in order to bolster plummeting ratings and push a horrendously divisive 'take away their guns' agenda.

According to Far-Left Watch, The Revolutionary Student Front at the University of Texas at Austin is actively recruiting students with 'mental illnesses.'

Daily Caller reports:

The UT Austin Antifa student group based its 2017 program on "Turn Illness Into A Weapon," a book charting the neo-Marxist Socialist Patients Collective group's actions in Germany, which placed the blame of mental illness on capitalist oppression.

The Revolutionary Student Front sought to create a health care system that not only treated students for their mental illnesses, but also mobilized them to fight capitalism. [...]

The group also admits at one point that members of its own leadership suffer from "mental illnesses."

"The primary method of combating the symptoms of mental illness that we face under capitalism must be organizing those suffering to come into violent class conflict with the system that creates their illness," says the group's manifesto.

The group also believes, "The goal of every initiative and program launched by a revolutionary organization should be for the purpose of recruiting fighters into its ranks and forging them in the fiery furnace of class struggle."

Students attending the Conservative Political Action Conference this week said they feel marginalized and bullied by peers at school who support gun control, McClatchy's DC Bureau reported.

"Not liking guns is a millennial thing, it's the cool thing to be against guns," said Justin Vaughn, 17, who attends a Maryland High School. Vaughn, a Second Amendment supporter, told McClatchy News he feels like he is on the "wrong side" of the gun control debate.

Comment: Not that partisan politics needs more incidents to incite further polarization, but it seems these mass shootings are coming with greater frequency to further divide those on either side of the debate. As seen above, the simplistic reasoning on the part of the pro-gun control side can be extremely frustrating to those who wish to address the issue with a level of nuance. If you're pro-Second Amendment, it seems, you're pro-mass murder - a truly ridiculous position to take.

In the middle of the night on Monday, around 3 a.m., the Israeli military raided the central occupied West Bank village of Nabi Saleh in full force, a common occurrence for the village's internationally-recognized residents, the Tamimi family, who have seen several family members - a large portion of them minors - arrested from the village in the past few months.

On Monday alone, Israeli forces detained 10 members of the extended Tamimi family, including five minors between the ages of 14-17, a 19-year-old, and the rest between the rest between 21 and 29 years of age, according to the Palestinian Prisoner's Society.

Among the detainees was 15-year-old Muhammad Tamimi, who is scheduled to have reconstructive surgery on his skull on March 5th. Muhammad was released later Monday afternoon.

After a police officer claimed he shot and killed a man because he refused to drop his gun, Body Cam footage has been released that shows the man was on his knees and his hands were empty when the officer shot him three times in the back.

Shaleem Tindle, 28, was killed by a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) police officer on Jan. 3, and while a short clip of the Body Cam footage was released by his family recently, the full video was released by police this week.

The initial claim made by Officer Joseph Mateu was that he was at the West Oakland BART station when he heard gunshots. He ran out of the station and across the street, which is shown in the footage from his Body Camera, and he confronted two men who were in a scuffle on the ground.

The two parties have signed a memorandum of agreement "to transfer $40 million from the Department of Defense to the Department of State's Global Engagement Center (GEC) in fiscal year 2018 for initiatives to counter propaganda and disinformation from foreign nations," the Department of State said on Monday.
