Watch San Francisco 'Pride' parade turn into vicious street brawl

san francisco gay pride
More than a dozen women were involved in a 'brutal' brawl at the San Francisco Pride Festival after an argument broke out over a singer's performance.

The senseless violence, which was caught on video by a horrified onlooker, reportedly began when one woman asked another if the singer Kehlani was still on stage.

She replied 'very rudely' and called her a 'b****', a witness claimed, kicking off seven minutes of savage fighting during the Sunday event.

Navdeep Thind, a Diablo Valley College student who filmed the rampage, said: 'It got kind of brutal. People were saying it was like some WWE stuff, and it really was.

He added, according to SFGate: 'You saw some heads hitting the cement.'

Thind uploaded the video to Twitter, where it went viral.

Comment: You'll want to turn down the volume. There's some horrific 'music' in it, apparently being blasted out at the gathering...

Comment: No, San Francisco deserves precisely what it's got.

Vologda region, Russia
The bill on free land in Vologda will be introduced in the regional parliament in September and is likely to be introduced starting January. According to the program launched in Russia's Far East, free land can be used for any lawful purpose, but the new owners cannot rent, sell, or give the land away for five years.

Foreigners are also eligible to use the land, but the registration of full property rights is only possible after the recipient becomes a naturalized citizen. The program started in June 2016 for the local populations of the Far East, and from February 2017 it became available for all Russians.

Jordan Peterson rallies Portlandia's protesters

Dr. Jordan Peterson
Portland, Ore. - Weeks of effort by activists to get University of Toronto psychology professor Jordan Peterson booted from his Portland tour stop ultimately failed as he delivered an uninterrupted speech to a packed-house on Monday at the Keller Auditorium in downtown.

Before the event, around 50 protesters gathered across the street to shout at Mr. Peterson's fans waiting in line. "Say it once, say it again, no excuse for violent men," they chanted. Many held signs condemning his views on gender pronouns and women. One sign declared, "As many genders as we want." Another read, "Infinite genders."

Several people have been reportedly shot dead by a gunman at the offices of Capital Gazette, a newspaper in the Maryland capital of Annapolis. The shooter is reportedly in police custody.

There are multiple reports from local media that "at least four people" have been shot. There is a massive police presence on Bestgate Road in Annapolis, an office park across the street from the Annapolis Mall.

"A single shooter shot multiple people at my office, some of whom are dead," Gazette's crime report reporter Phil Davis said on Twitter, while waiting to be interviewed by police. "There is nothing more terrifying than hearing multiple people get shot while you're under your desk and then hear the gunman reload."

Appalling: Air Force lets colonel walk free despite testimony and graphic evidence of child rape

rape victim
In an appalling move that has shocked many, the United States Air Force has declined to charge a senior military colonel and doctor who was accused of brutally raping and physically abusing two young boys, despite overwhelming evidence against him.

Air Force Col. Eric Holt, 48, was accused of sexually assaulting a young child in 2016 while he was working as an anesthesiologist at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. According to documents from the case, reported by USA Today, an elementary-school-aged boy told his mother and two other witnesses that Holt raped him, and he had physical injuries from the abuse.
"In October 2016, allegations of sexual abuse arose after one of the boys returned from a visit with Holt. The boy awoke the night of Oct. 13 having soiled himself, according to the June 14 memo to Maj. Gen. James Jacobson, the officer deciding whether Holt would be charged.

As his mother cleaned him up, the boy told her that Holt 'pulls on his penis and puts his fingers in his bottom.' Crying, he told two other women in the home the same story. A photo of his bruised penis and a statement from one of the women were left out of the investigative report by the Air Force, according to the memo."
A second young boy testified that he had been raped and assaulted by Holt, and he also showed signs of trauma with bruises, cuts and a black eye. Lawyers for the two boys argued that there was clearly "sufficient factual basis" to charge Holt for the abuse, given the presence of both photographic evidence and "expert testimony supporting the veracity of their allegations."

The smoldering left loses its cool

'When you're violent and cursing and screaming and blocking me from walking into a movie, there's something wrong,' said one top GOP official.

Two senior Trump administration officials were heckled at restaurants. A third was denied service. Florida GOP Attorney General Pam Bondi required a police escort away from a movie about Mister Rogers after activists yelled at her in Tampa - where two other Republican lawmakers say they were also politically harassed last week, one of them with her kids in tow.

In the Donald Trump era, the left is as aggressively confrontational as at any time in recent memory.

What it means for 2018 - whether it portends a blue wave of populist revolt for Democrats or a red wall of silent majority resistance from Republicans - largely depends on one's political persuasion. But there's a bipartisan sense that this election season marks another inflection point in the collapse of civil political discourse.

Poll says 31% of Americans believe civil war likely in next 5 years

Poll map 2nd civil war

Might a second Civil War result in a map like this?
According to Rasmussen poll taken between June 21 and 24, thirty-one percent (31%) of likely American voters say that it is likely that the United States will suffer a second civil war sometime within the next five years. Eleven percent (11%) believe this war is very likely.
Most voters fear that political violence is coming from opponents of the president's policies, just as they did in the second year of Barack Obama's presidency, and nearly one-in-three think a civil war is next.

Thirty-one percent (31%) of Likely U.S. Voters say it's likely that the United States will experience a second civil war sometime in the next five years, with 11% who say it's Very Likely. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 59% consider a second civil war unlikely, but that includes only 29% who say it's Not At All Likely.
The questions were worded in this way:

1* How concerned are you that those opposed to President Trump's policies will resort to violence?

2* How concerned are you that those critical of the media's coverage of President Trump will resort to violence?

3* How likely is that the United States will experience a second civil war sometime in the next five years?

Comment: As with the accuracy and viability of any poll numbers sample, the devil is in the interpretation of the questions and the experience/bias of the responders. Interesting is the general (and growing) distrust of political news and the downtrending perception of HRC.
