Society's Child
Today on MindMatters we dissect wokism using the lens of ponerology. Wokism isn't just a bad idea. It's a mask for something much worse, just as communism and fascism were in the twentieth century.

Johnson, Chief Creative Officer at both Turning Point, USA, and Arsenal Media Group, often gets to the heart of the liberal matter on his social media platforms, and today is no exception. Just look at the tweets included below confirming the efforts to convince students that MAGA is code for White Supremacy. To be precise, it's actually covert white supremacy and as indicated in the pyramid, is more socially acceptable.
Putting aside that all of this is complete nonsense, it's being funded by taxpayer dollars and forced upon educators via mandatory training. What happened to math and science? Why are we teaching kids about a campaign slogan that belonged to a particular candidate, who then became President. And just to be sure that we have evidence to support the claim that Trump's administration was anything but racist, let's look at some data.
The proposal in question, known as policy proposal 8040, would require teachers to use a child's preferred gender pronouns. The board closed public comments at its meeting on Tuesday night after multiple interruptions by residents in the crowd.
After several speakers voiced support for the proposal, a woman who said she was the mother of a transgender student was booed after saying "hate" was "dripping from the followers of Jesus in this room." The board called a five-minute recess and said public comments would be closed if any additional disturbance were made.
After other residents spoke both in favor and against the proposal, former state senator Dick Black criticized the board over its alleged backing of the policies as well as critical race theory. Residents cheered Black, prompting the board to close public comments by a vote of 9-0.
Comment: Gender protocol and CRT solicited strong reactions from parents and faculty - countered with reprimands, recriminations and arrests:
Critics say teaching history through a race-based lens is overly divisive and inappropriate for children. Concerned parents in Loudoun were also expressing outrage over a new policy that would outline and protect the rights of transgender students in the district.Loudoun County gives warning there is much more to come as society continues to divide and unravel over new rules and hot button policies."The Loudoun County School Board ended the public comment section of its June 22 meeting on a unanimous vote after Chair Brenda L. Sheridan repeatedly warned the attendees in the Board Room that loud public demonstrations violated the decorum of the meeting," the board said in a statement. "Sheridan had previously, and repeatedly, warned the public after introducing the public comment section with a reading of [the policy]. Earlier the chair recessed the School Board meeting for five minutes due to disruptions before the unanimous vote to end public comment was taken."School officials ended public commenting after concerned parents yelled over speakers and protesters disrupted the proceedings.
Shane Fuhrman, mayor of the 550-person town of Silverton, announced his decision during a trustee meeting last week, saying the pledge has led to threats and divided the community, KDVR reported.
"Due to direct and indirect threats, inappropriate comments in and out of public meetings, and the general divisiveness this is creating in our community, we will not be doing the Pledge of Allegiance during town of Silverton board of trustee meetings."Fuhrman, who didn't elaborate on the nature of the threats, said he was suspending recitation of the pledge "until such time that we can discuss this at a board retreat or workshop."
A code of conduct was published by the local organising committee on Wednesday after it was confirmed earlier this week that Games venues could be 50 per cent full, up to a maximum of 10,000 people.
On Monday organisers announced that spectators would be asked to refrain from shouting or talking loudly, and to avoid any stop-offs on their way to or from Games venues, and now further guidelines designed to limit the spread of coronavirus have been issued.
One section entitled 'Watching the Games competition and cheering the athletes' encourages spectators to clap rather than cheer, and contains an image of a trumpet crossed out above the words 'no noisemakers'.
"PARC recognizes that language is a powerful tool used to perpetrate and perpetuate oppression," states PARC on the school's website. "As a community, we strive to remove oppressive language from our everyday use. This list is meant to be a tool to share information and suggestions about potentially oppressive language."
Comment: Pretty soon you won't be able to speak at all. Talking will be forbidden as there's no guarantee that someone won't be offended by the sound of your voice
RT's Boom Bust talks to the host of Economic Update, Professor Richard Wolff, to find out if this is a sign of a growing wealth disparity.
Absolutely, says Wolff. Using the United States as an example, he points out that over the last 16 months, over 85 million Americans - more than half the country's labor force - had to file for unemployment compensation.
"More than one out of every two American workers went unemployed for a certain period of time," he said, adding, "What that means is that if they had any savings they've used them. Their situation got worse."
In a statement issued on Thursday, authorities set out how they plan to implement a directive requiring 60% of public-facing staff to be vaccinated. The order applies to companies in a range of industries, including hospitality, transport and leisure, which will have to demonstrate they are meeting the quotas or else face hefty fines.
Officials confirmed that the rules provide grounds for businesses to withhold pay from workers who do not meet the criteria and, for those who still refuse the jab, "the employer is obliged to suspend the employee from work in the absence of medical contraindications."

In March, Marshall tweeted "Congratulations @MrAndyNgo. Finally had the time to read your important book. You're a brave man."
He was then harassed by an Antifa-led mob and smeared by left-wing media, prompting him to issue a hurried apology.
Since then, Marshall has reflected on the mobbing and has now issued an eloquent explanation of the events invoking Solzhenitsyn and Churchill and decrying "cancel culture."

John McAfee speaks at the Malta Blockchain Summit in St Julian's, Malta on November 1, 2018.
McAfee, 75, was found in his cell at the Sant Esteve Sesrovires jail on Wednesday evening, Spanish media reported, citing an official statement from the Ministry of Justice. Guards and prison medical staff intervened and attempted resuscitation, but to no avail, the ministry said.
Investigators have been dispatched to the jail to probe the cause of death, but "everything indicates it could be a suicide," the ministry added.

'If I suicide myself, I didn't': Supporters dredge up old McAfee tweets to cry foul over death as his Instagram page posts 'Q'

A statement from Spain's Ministry of Justice has indicated the cause of death for McAfee could be suicide, a detail that has set off many who see a conspiracy, citing past McAfee tweets where he warned his followers that if it was ever reported he committed suicide, "a la Epstein," then it was a professional hit.
One 2019 tweet from McAfee, who was known for freely speaking his mind, however outlandishly, warned the former tech mogul was getting "subtle messages" from US government officials that they were going to have him killed and make it look like a suicide. He even showed off a tattoo, reading "whackd," which Twitter users began turning into a hashtag, along with #McAfeeDidntKillHimself, shortly after his death was announced.

To add to conspiracy theories, users also began noticing a post - the first in months - to McAfee's Instagram account of a solo 'Q', a reference many connected to the QAnon movement, which connects numerous conspiracy theories to the government 'deep state' that McAfee had also been critical of later in life.

Comment: The question is asked: "How far down the slippery slope of intolerance do we want this to go?" Without resistance, America has been set up to crash and burn from the inside out. With resistance it burns from the outside in. Choices.
