Society's Child
COVID-19 is not an illness.
It is a religious confession. Slate Magazine just proved it.
In a piece run just a few days ago, a frustrated wife takes the plunge and goes public with her struggle with a true believer who is near and dear to her: her own husband.
The notice is based on the research and clinical trials carried out by 'Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance' (FLCCC) and the British Ivermectin Recommendation Development (BIRD) Panel, who have presented enormous data that strengthen the case for recommendation of Ivermectin in prevention and treatment of COVID-19.
Dr. Soumya Swaminathan has ignored these studies/reports and has deliberately suppressed the data regarding effectiveness of the drug Ivermectin, with an intent to dissuade the people of India from using Ivermectin.
However, the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi have refused to accept her stand and have retained the recommendation for Ivermectin under 'May Do' category, for patients with mild symptoms and those in home isolation, as stated in 'The National Guidelines for COVID-19 management' last updated on May 17, 2021.
Case in point, there have been very public callouts from the mothers of Tamir Rice and Breonna Taylor.
When asked about the resignation of BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors following the reveal of her millions of dollars in real estate investment, Samaria Rice, the mother of Tamir, who was killed by a cop in 2014, told the New York Post, "I don't believe she's going anywhere. It's all a facade. She's only saying that to get the heat off her right now." Together with Lisa Simpson, the mother of Richard Risher, killed by police in 2016, Rice previously lashed out at BLM.

Many democratic figureheads insist the United States underwent a "racial reckoning" in 2020 with Black Lives Matter leading the charge, but that narrative contradicts the truth.
New data from Civiqs showed support for Black Lives Matter skyrocketing in 2020 after the police-involved deaths of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and George Floyd. However, George Floyd's death sparked massive civil unrest across the United States, and as a result, support for the movement took a steep nosedive.

Crowds of protesters and journalists swarmed around the HatWRKS shop on 8th Ave S. in Nashville on Saturday, after its owner caused a stir online with a controversial Instagram post promoting a new item - designed around one of the most widely known symbols of the Holocaust.
Comment: As Gina Corano can tell you, comparing anything to the holocaust is guaranteed to get you labelled an anti-Semite, regardless of what your intentions were and how obvious those intentions are. It's ridiculous, but it's the world we live in.

The complaint filed by 117 employees alleges that they are illegally being required to get vaccinated, according to The Washington Post.
The plaintiffs allege that the hospital is "forcing its employees to be human 'guinea pigs' as a condition for continued employment," according to the newspaper.
Comment: It unlikely this lawsuit will go anywhere, but kudos to them for trying!

Some want to dismantle the imperial slaughter machine and create a harmonious world; others just want the imperial slaughter machine to give them healthcare. These are two entirely different positions. It's not strange that these factions feud — it would be strange if they didn't.
US progressives who smear The Grayzone and other anti-imperialist media never have any other equally anti-imperialist media that they promote and uphold as good. This is because they are imperialists.
Were you there? If you were you might be able to spot yourself in one of these pictures from the march and rally that yesterday brought central London to a standstill. Or perhaps you can spot the poster you designed and carried.
The featured image prophesies and encapsulates media reaction. Silence. Here it is again.
Earlier this week, a packed school bus full of frightened children was pulled over by police, everyone was told to stay on board, and the familiar blue-and-white tape encircled the vehicle as officers decided how to tackle what must have appeared to onlookers to be a serious crime scene.
But instead of terrorists, illegal immigrants or drug smugglers, police in South Australia were looking for two schoolgirls who had hitchhiked from the neighbouring state of Victoria to meet up with a friend and sneak aboard the bus, mingling with those already on board.
