'Gender-fluid' female model pepper sprayed by mother for using women's bathroom

Non-binary model Rain Dove was sprayed in the face with mace for using a women's bathroom in the United States.

Dove, who is in a relationship with Rose McGowan, was contacted by the attacker after the incident and posted screenshots of their exchange on Instagram to educate others about being gender-fluid.

"This person pepper sprayed me in a 'women's rest room' a little bit ago," Dove wrote on Instagram in the caption section.

"I didn't get to converse with this being because this person just sprayed me and ran past with their kids in terror, asking the security guard to come in and confront me.

"It happens moderately often especially while traveling that people get scared or volatile when I go into the rest room so I just shrugged it off and continued life. Then suddenly out of the blue this person contacted me again. We had a conversation and here's how it went."

Comment: Would the mother have been so reactionary were it not for years of 'gender fluid' propaganda and highly publicized attempts to change the laws to allow biological men in women's bathrooms? This is just one of the unfortunate consequences when a society is subverted for a minority against the wishes of the majority.

Midlarsky, who is Jewish, found the graffiti—two swastikas and the derogatory term “Yid”—when she came to her office around 1 p.m. today.

The office of Jewish professor Elizabeth Midlarsky, who teaches and researches the Holocaust at Columbia Teachers College, was vandalized with swastikas and anti-Semitic slurs on Wednesday.

Midlarsky found the graffiti-two swastikas alongside the derogatory term "Yid"-when she came to her office around 1 p.m. Wednesday, at which point she notified security. The graffiti was drawn in the entryway to Midlarksy's office, which is not shared with other staff.

"I was in shock," Midlarsky said. "I stopped for a moment, because I couldn't believe what I was seeing."

According to the NYPD, a different staff member entered the room at approximately 11:47 a.m. Wednesday and did not observe anything unusual at that time. The incident remains under active investigation by the NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force and is being treated as an aggravated harassment.

All Teachers College academic buildings require ID for entry, either from Teachers College, Columbia, Barnard, or other affiliated schools.

About 350 have decided to return home in the face of a long wait at the border

For some Central American migrants in Tijuana, the American Dream is over before it even began.

Around 350 members of the first migrant caravan who recently reached the northern border city have decided to voluntarily return to their home countries - Honduras, in most cases - in the face of having to wait for months for the opportunity to file a request for asylum in the United States.

Some migrants who spoke to the newspaper Milenio claim they were misled about their chances of gaining entry to the U.S.

"[Migrant advocacy group] Pueblos Sin Fronteras told us not to worry, that there was going to be transportation, that Mexico was going to open the gates so that we didn't have to enter [the U.S.] illegally, via the river . . ." Honduran migrant Ulises López said, referring to the attempted border breach Sunday.

Russian priest convicted of 46 counts of rape against boys under 14

A Russian Orthodox priest, who sexually abused boys under the age of 14, has been sentenced to 17 years behind bars. While the priest was convicted of 46 rape counts, he was accused of molesting children nearly 90 times.

The rogue hieromonk Meletiy, Andrey Tkachenko, has served as the director of an Orthodox gymnasium in the Yakutia region since 2010. He was exposed and detained last March, initially facing two counts of sexually assaulting children.

As the investigation unfolded, the case grew to a truly terrifying scale. The priest ultimately faced 87 counts of sexual offences against boys aged below 14. 'Only' 46 counts were proven in court, however, which resulted in the sentence of 17 years at a maximum-security prison.

Apart from the jail time, the priest was slapped with a 400 thousand rubles ($6,000) fine and was ordered to get mandatory treatment from a psychiatrist.

France: Woman claiming to have a bomb in her backpack barricades herself inside bank and threatens to blow it up

A woman barricaded herself into an LCL bank in a southern French town on Thursday, threatening to blow everything up. She was eventually apprehended by police, while no actual explosives were reportedly found.

The incident occurred in Ales town in the Occitanie region of France on Thursday morning. Le Parisien identified the perpetrator as a 60-year-old woman who was the bank's client. The woman claimed she had a bomb in a backpack.

An elite RAID police unit has been deployed to the area.

Police have confirmed the operation in the town, without giving any details.

Mentally ill man detained after attempting to take 20 people hostage in Fuiggi, Italy, 4 people injured

A 28-year-old man was detained after attempting to take 20 people hostage when he stormed a career development office in the central Italian town of Fiuggi. Four people were injured.

The man, who according to Italian media was unarmed, broke into the office and grabbed the director. He dragged him into a room with 20 students, pulled a female student towards him and told everyone not to move.

At that point police broke in and used pepper spray to stop him. A member of the Carabinieri, two police officers and a woman were injured.

A new bill would require citizens wishing to buy a gun to undergo a state sanctioned audit of their social media accounts and search engine history.

In one of the most Orwellian bills to date, lawmakers in New York have drafted and proposed a bill that will require a review of a citizens social media as well as their search engine history, going back years-just to buy a gun.

Senate Bill 9191 would establish an official investigation officer who would scour the social media posts and search engine history of anyone attempting to purchase a gun. It also applies to current gun owners who want to renew their licenses.

Anti-Semitic stereotypes are alive and well in Europe, while the memory of the Holocaust is starting to fade, a sweeping new survey by CNN reveals. More than a quarter of Europeans polled believe Jews have too much influence in business and finance. Nearly one in four said Jews have too much influence in conflict and wars across the world.

One in five said they have too much influence in the media and the same number believe they have too much influence in politics.

Meanwhile, a third of Europeans in the poll said they knew just a little or nothing at all about the Holocaust, the mass murder of some six million Jews in lands controlled by Adolf Hitler's Nazi regime in the 1930s and 1940s.

Those are among the key findings of a survey carried out by pollster ComRes for CNN. The CNN/ComRes poll interviewed more than 7,000 people across Europe, with more than 1,000 respondents each in Austria, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Poland and Sweden.

Four Maryland high school football players accused of raping teammates with broom

Four 15-year-old Maryland high school football players charged as adults with rape for sexually assaulting four teammates with a broom during a hazing incident have been released on bond.

Three of the Damascus High School athletes, who NBC News is not identifying, were charged with two counts of first-degree rape and two counts of attempted rape, according to District Court of Maryland documents. One of the athletes was charged with four counts of first-degree rape.

All four junior varsity athletes are charged with conspiracy to commit rape.

The students were each released Tuesday on $20,000 bond, according to court records.

A fifth teammate is accused of participating in at least one of the attacks and being charged as a juvenile but is also identified as one of four victims, charging documents show.
